About: I would love to take care of your babies while you are away. I will talk to them , cuddle them, feed and walk them. I’m am currently retired and looking forward to pet sitting. I have another friend that enjoys this so much, and I think I will like it just as much as she does. I will make sure there is always clean water, feed in the morning and evenings, or as often as you like. I wash the bowls about every other day. I have 3 beds for my chihuahua, one in the living room, bedroom and dining room where my computer sits. She sits in my lap when she wants, she lets me know when she needs to go out and I keep pee pads down for her just in case, and keep the area clean.

About: I have 7 years experience of working as a veterinary technician / kennel assist. My special skills is having patience, being understanding and a soft heart for fur babies. I’m currently working part-time on furthering my education online so I will be available to walk your fur babies Monday- Friday from 8:00am-2:00pm. I care for my own fur babies a tremendous amount and yours will be cared for the same. I am very much a giver, and they will receive happiness.
“Suzanne’s very kind and gave lots of pictures and information about my sweet boy. He is definitely a wild puppy and she spent time with him and cared for him well. I felt confident leaving him in her care and will book again for sure!”

“I’m so happy!!!Madelyn did an AMAZING job with our only girl! She is extremely attentive to shadows needs and played with her in the back yard as well. Shadow really liked her and I will be using her for overnights going forward as well!!”

“"I recently had the pleasure of working with Sara, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the very first meeting, it was clear that she truly cares about dogs and their well-being. Sara took the time to get to know my dogs, Zoey & Buster, and made sure to understand their routine, preferences, and any special needs. Sara did two drop in visits each day & besides providing loving care for my dogs, she watered my plants, brought mail in, and made sure the house was ok. I received regular updates and adorable photos that put my mind at ease. It was evident that Sara provided my senior dogs the human touch they need which left my dogs happy and content when I returned home. I highly recommend Sara to anyone in need of a reliable and caring dog sitter. Her passion for animals and attentive care made all the difference for me and my two senior dogs. Thank you so much for your wonderful service!"”

“We totally trust Shelby and so does our cat Monkey! She’s very consistent and considerate to bring in mail, put out trash and water plants. I would choose her to be with our cats 100%!”
“Alexia went above and beyond to not just make sure my two kitties were taken care of, but also managed to keep them comfortable and happy while we were out of town for a week! She cleaned the litter box out and even tidied up and vacuumed when needed. The cats love her and we will definitely have her back”

“Remington was excellent. Communication lines were clear and open. And I could tell from the photos sent that my dog--who does not make friends easily-- was completely at ease. If my job brings me back this way, Remington will be high on my list of petsitters to contact.”

“I can say enough positive things about the way Emma cared for our furbabies. Her communication, thoroughness and photos made us feel comforted to know our old kitties were in good hands. In addition to her exceptional care, she has the best energy and we hope to continue scheduling Emma when we travel. Thank you Emma for being there for Kona & Aka!”

“Shadesha was amazing with my babies! She took great care of them and sent me pictures everyday. She even got paisley to like her, which is no small feat! I highly recommend her and will definitely use her in the future!”

About: Hi there! My name is Lauren. Some helpful things to know about me is that I have 5+ years experience in animal care. I've worked at animal shelters and as a manager at a pet daycare/boarding facility, I also have done pet sitting and dog walking on my own in the past. I've recently moved to the area and want to continue working with animals. I am responsible, reliable and will treat your pets as if they were my own. I love to send lots of updates and pictures so you know your pets are well taken care of. I have just recently moved to Alvarado and left my job at Operation Kindness Humane Society because the commute would of been too long. So my schedule is very open as of right now while I look for another job. I have a large yard, however it is not fully fenced. If you'd like for your pup to come to my house I would walk them to go potty. I also have 2 dogs that are dog friendly so if your pup likes to play they will get along great. My dogs are fully vaccinated and up to date all all shots and preventions. For your baby to stay with me I would need to see vaccination records, just to make sure everyone is safe and healthy. If you'd prefer me to pet sit at your home I am more than happy to do that as well and stay consistent with the daily routine you have with your animals. This is usually my preferred way, as it is less stressful for your animals to be in a familiar environment.
About: I have had dogs and cats all my life along with some birds. I know how to give cpr to a dog or cat. I am a big animal lover. My boyfriend is too. His name is marvin he will be helping me take care of your family member. As we look at our dog as our child so we know how important they are to you. I have a huge back yard that is fenced in. So they can have plenty time to run. If needed we can give baths too. We are located in a safe neighborhood. You can call anytime to check on them we would be happy to tell you how they are doing along with we can send pictures so you can see what they are doing
“Kasey did a great job watching my two cats on very short notice over the holidays! She was very good about sending me pictures and updates from her drop-in visits. I had never been away from my cats for this long before, but I was very comfortable knowing that Kasey was taking care of them. I know she made sure to give my cats some extra attention and love during her check-ins, and both cats warmed up to her very fast. Both my babies seemed very happy and content when I returned from my trip. I would ask Kasey to watch my cats again in the future!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
