Rochelle was absolutely amazing! She was willing to take Ivy in even though Ivy is completely blind and we requested our stay less than 24 hours in advance. She sent pictures and videos and I did not have to worry about Ivy being in her care. She has the perfect puppy palace set up in her home and Ivy absolutely loved it. Rochelle makes me wish I lived in the area so Ivy could hang out with her while I work, but unfortunately we were just passing through. If I ever find myself in the area again we will definitely be paying Rochelle a visit! I would recommend Rochelle to everyone!

About: Working from home allows me to give every animal in my care the attention and love they need as well as the flexibility to work with parents schedules. 10 years of experience working with dogs and cats both high energy, shy/nervous, needing extra attention, dogs who need separation from other dogs, both small and large! I have plenty of space in the back yard as well as toys both inside and out to make sure every fur baby is able to get their zoomies out, plenty of play time and comfort inside my home as well! I do not kennel any dogs unless the parents state that they need to be at any specific time for any reason. I want to provide a stress free experience where both fur babies and parents are taken care of. I want parents to feel confident in knowing their babies are safe and I will treat them as if they were my own babies, I taught my dog, to be able to go to the dog parks and be social nonaggressive. I specifically taught him to be gentle with cats and dogs growing up so he loves everyone. I do have extra space in my home so if someone needs to be separated or have a little bit of some space way while receiving the same quality care, they are able to have that! If I go into your home it is specifically to give the babies play times with any toys you allow me to use and just show them the same loving and petting I would for my babies. 🐾 😊 If you have a questions or concerns please don’t hesitate to ask I am here to help you have a peace of mind! ☺️ I work from home so I am actively able to provide daily outside playtime and potty time during the day and some much needed sun bathes for the sun bathers. I am able to provide a good feed schedule as well treat times! It is a pleasure to be able to work from home and effectively care to the needs of each furbaby! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. With my experience caring for dogs and cats of all ages and personalities, I understand how important it is to have someone you can truly trust with your furry family members!❤️ I provide a calm, safe, and loving environment where pets can feel comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I pay close attention to routines, behavior, and individual needs to ensure every pet receives personalized care, patience, and plenty of affection. I believe communication is extremely important, so I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check ins for peace of mind. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, anxious, young, or senior, I strive to make them feel secure, loved, and at home in my care. 🐾

Rico is a rescue puppy and was left alone in his early life making him a little needy and does not like leaving your side...Saying that, his furrrst stay with Sheila went great! She provided an update while playing and let him "hang" with her to assure him, it's going to be okay... We already have another date schedule and I know he's looking forward to seeing her and Skeeter again!

About: My pet-care journey began in 2019 after moving in with a friend who owned four adorable pugs and regularly fostered rescued pups. She taught me so much about patience, routines and how to make every pup feel genuinely safe and loved. Ever since, friends and family have trusted me to walk, feed and care for their pets when they're away. And in 2024, I welcomed my own doodle into my life - caring for him has deepened my love for dogs in the sweetest way and look forward to treating your furry friend like family. ***REGULAR HOURS OF OPERATION*** 7 AM - 9 PM CST Note: Because I work from home, I have a flexible schedule and can host dogs during the week or on weekends. Your pup will get regular short walks, frequent potty breaks, and lots of love and supervision throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard where dogs can play safely and comfortably. Your dog will have a friendly companion, and I can crate either dog to ensure everyone feels secure. I supervise all playtime and interactions closely, provide plenty of attention, and follow your pet's routines so they feel safe, happy, and right at home while you're away. Regular pup selfies and photos will be shared throughout their stay to show they're happy, safe, and having a great time.

About: Hi there! My name is Lauren. Some helpful things to know about me is that I have 5+ years experience in animal care. I've worked at animal shelters and as a manager at a pet daycare/boarding facility, I also have done pet sitting and dog walking on my own in the past. I've recently moved to the area and want to continue working with animals. I am responsible, reliable and will treat your pets as if they were my own. I love to send lots of updates and pictures so you know your pets are well taken care of. I have just recently moved to Alvarado and left my job at Operation Kindness Humane Society because the commute would of been too long. So my schedule is very open as of right now while I look for another job. I have a large yard, however it is not fully fenced. If you'd like for your pup to come to my house I would walk them to go potty. I also have 2 dogs that are dog friendly so if your pup likes to play they will get along great. My dogs are fully vaccinated and up to date all all shots and preventions. For your baby to stay with me I would need to see vaccination records, just to make sure everyone is safe and healthy. If you'd prefer me to pet sit at your home I am more than happy to do that as well and stay consistent with the daily routine you have with your animals. This is usually my preferred way, as it is less stressful for your animals to be in a familiar environment.

About: Absolutely! For Rover, I’d make it warm, trustworthy, and personal, while still highlighting your veterinary experience. Here’s a polished version: Pets aren’t just my first love—they’re my passion and the heart of what I do. I’ve built my career around caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. As a veterinary technician with over 5 years of experience, I’m comfortable caring for pets with a variety of needs, including administering medications, handling emergencies, and recognizing when something may be wrong. I’ve also been pet sitting for 3 years and have been caring for and walking dogs my entire life, including my own pets and those of friends and neighbors. My veterinary background allows me to provide an extra level of confidence and peace of mind while you’re away. Your pet’s well-being is always my top priority. I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs, and I’m happy to follow your instructions and accommodate your preferences. I know pets are more than companions—they’re family and our best friends. My goal is to make sure they feel just as happy, safe, and loved while they’re in my care as they do at home. ❤️🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, especially because I work from home. I’m able to provide pets with plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and regular care throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to be present and attentive rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. As a veterinary technician, caring for animals is already a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy making sure every pet feels comfortable, safe, and loved. I care for every pet as if they were my own, while making sure to follow each owner’s instructions and routine. I take the time to learn each pet’s personality, feeding schedule, exercise needs, and any special instructions. As a veterinary technician with over 5 years of experience, I’m also comfortable administering medications and recognizing signs that may require additional attention. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, my priority is keeping them safe, comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, walks, potty breaks, meals, and lots of love. Since I work from home, I’m able to be present and give pets consistent companionship and supervision throughout the day.

This was my first time leaving my puppy with a sitter. Mijo had a great time. I appreciate the photos and videos that were sent showing how well he was being taking care of. Mijo enjoyed running around in the spacious backyard with the other pups. Marc was very nice and very accommodating. I appreciate him taking such good care of Mijo. I would definitely use him again. Lucyna was wonderful. My pup, Sophie, has plenty of experience with Rover hosts and Lucyna is tops! Sophie was excited to go back each morning during her four-day, doggy daycare stays. You know the host is good when your dog wants to go back. Lucyna was incredibly kind and easy to work with. I highly recommend her as a host.

About: My wife and I are a military family with a daughter, and we understand that pets are family. With over 10 years of experience caring for dogs and cats, we provide a safe, loving, and reliable environment for your furry baby while you’re away. We treat every pet as if they were our own and look forward to welcoming them into our home with plenty of love, attention, and care. I work fully remote from home, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and care throughout the day. Because I am home nearly 24/7, your pet will receive plenty of attention, companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and affection. Unlike sitters who are away for long work shifts, I am available to monitor your furry baby throughout the day and quickly respond to their needs. My flexible schedule helps ensure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. Your furry baby will enjoy a safe, welcoming environment with plenty of room to play and relax. We have a fully fenced backyard, providing a secure space for supervised outdoor play, exercise, and potty breaks. We also have two friendly dogs of our own: * An 8-year-old female Australian Shepherd who is gentle, well-socialized, and accustomed to being around other dogs. * A 6-month-old Dachshund (wiener dog) who is playful, friendly, and loves making new friends. We understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, so we take the time to ensure introductions are done safely and at a pace that helps everyone feel comfortable. Our goal is to create a fun, loving, and stress-free environment where your pet feels right at home and becomes part of the family during their stay.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Grandview commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in TX ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 627 sitters in Grandview, 92% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
