About: I've been blessed by cats and dogs since college, and have navigated everything from the puppy and kitten chaos through the golden senior years. My husband and I are home full time to tend to your pets. Expert at delivering oral medications and basic care. I check all guests with a flea comb on arrival and am happy to do daily brushing for long haired breeds. Big believer in providing enrichment activities such as puzzles and snuffle mats, agility training for active dog breeds, and proper socialization. All boarded animals will have the option to be socialized with our household animals or be boarded separately, we have designed our home to have several completely separated areas. I work from home, and am available 24/7 to tend to your pets. I'm an early riser for those early morning potty breaks and can make late night potty breaks work as needed. I care for all animals with love, decency, and respect. Adhering to their existing schedules is key when boarding them in a new space, so I try to keep their day to day as normal as possible. I'm a big fan of natural treats and fun enrichment activities; I have a variety of puzzle feeders and snuffle mats for all animals. I have a fully enclosed back yard with plenty of grass for running and playing. The neighborhood is good for walking as well. I aim for at least 30 minutes of supervised playtime in the yard per day for all dogs. There is also a fully enclosed cat patio for safe outdoor access as well as two bedrooms devoted to pets. One of these has its own entrance to and from the yard for boarding pets who desire no interaction with other animals.

“Annie is fantastic! The funny part is I have never met her, but my other half did and said she was an angel! She is super accommodating for me and my pup. She sends pictures, and keeps me updated. She keeps our home safe, and makes sure it’s all locked up when she leaves. She was even willing to take my pup to the vet when he was sick and I was working. I use her weekly and say enough good things :)”

About: I have owned and cared for dogs my whole life. I also know how important it is to be able to leave my pets with someone who is caring, kind, and safe. Pets are family but sometimes we need to leave them with sitter. I will care for the pups I care for as my own. I have a fenced yard where they can play. Arlington Park a few blocks away for walks. I am recently retired RN. I wake looking forward to care for my two small dogs and am available to open our home to another small dog. I keep my boarding to a single dog or will care for two from same home. I have a complete fenced yard and will be able to crate dog if necessary. Constant care. Never leave them outside by themselves. My dogs are allowed on furniture and sleep with me. The visiting dog will be able to as well if ok with owner.

About: Hello! Since the young age of ten I have been given the responsibility of feeding and letting out my neighbors' dogs, cats, guinea pigs, and even sea monkeys! The times spent with the larger pets involved me staying for extended periods of time to walk, wash, feed, and just spend time with them! More recently I have started spending the night at peoples' houses which included all of the duties mentioned previously. I also have worked with horses since a very young age, and while that won't be necessary in the big city, since it's a big responsibility I thought I'd add it! On top of my experience, I truly don't see animals as an accessory, but as companions that do so much more for us than we do for them. I would love to be a home away from home for your critter!

About: I’ve spent time around animals for my entire life, and have always loved giving them the love and attention they deserve. I have a very flexible schedule and will take the time to make your pet happy and comfy! Working with animals has always been something I have found great joy doing, and I hope I can build connections with more four legged friends! I’m a student who is currently on break until the 21st, so I am available very often. Any days of the week will work fine for me! I will make sure all fences, doors, and windows are secure at all times to ensure your pets will be safe and cozy in their homes!

“Highly recommend her! She communicates and arrives on time. Our dog must have really enjoyed his time with her because he was napping when I got home and was tired. She updated me with great pics of their walk.”

About: As a mom of two and a fellow pet owner, I know how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can trust. My home is safe, calm, and full of love. I treat every animal like part of the family! Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule as I work from home and have the flexibility to give your pet the attention they may need. I can offer a lot of outdoor time with my large fenced in yard, a calm enviornment and walks around the neighborhood for exercise if needed.

“Thanks you Sophia , Enzo looked happy this week.”

About: I’ve been working with animals the majority of my adult life. I started out as a volunteer dog walker at the Humane Society and then spent 3 years sitting on the board at the same shelter. I’ve fostered multiple dogs since 2014 and also owned my own doggy daycare and boarding facility from 2016 to 2024. I’m currently working part time so my schedule is very open and flexible. I’m available weekdays, weekends and holidays. With my current schedule it keeps me open to having lots of time to spend with the fur babies to play and snuggle. I have a large fenced yard and tile throughout my house so it is very dog friendly. Walks are available upon request as well as crating if preferred. I’m also happy to sleep with your pets as that’s my preference.

“Amanda was absolutely awesome!! We came to Sarasota for our wedding and brought our fur baby Remy. We couldn't take him in the reception hall of our hotel and we were a bit worried about what we were going today until we found Amanda! She was great to work with and met my dad to get Remy and took him to our hotel room and gave him love while we were gone! She left the cutest little polaroid pictures of my dad and our boy and even though I didm't get to meet her my parents said she was an absolute delight and I couldn't agree more! Recommend her to anyone in the area! :)”

About: I had my dog from 6 months old to 13 years. So I have experience with young dogs, including my friends and neighbor's puppies, as well as senior dog care with special diets and care needs. I am home from college so I have plenty of free time to give my full focus on the dogs (and cats). I also enjoy the physical exercise that sometimes comes with caring for dogs. I try to quickly learn a pet's schedule and behaviour and adapt to how they prefer to spend their time, while giving them a fulfilling time and activities and making sure the owner is satisfied.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is the deep, lifelong bond I’ve had with animals — especially my own. I’ve had pets my whole life, and most recently cared for my 16-year-old Yorkie (almost 17!) who had kidney disease. He was truly like my child, and during his final chapter, I gave him incredibly loving, one-on-one care every single day. That experience gave me not just senior dog care skills, but a deep understanding of patience, gentleness, and being fully present. I know how much pets mean to us — they’re family — and I treat every animal I care for with that same level of love and attention. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I truly enjoy it — and I’m very flexible and open with my schedule. I’m available for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care depending on what your pet needs. Whether it’s a midday walk or a weekend stay, I’m happy to adjust to what works best for you and your furry baby. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or visiting yours, I focus on making them feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I have a fully fenced backyard and a pet-friendly home, so pets staying with me will have space to play and relax. I’m also happy to follow any routines or special instructions — feeding, medications, crate use, you name it. If I’m in your home, I treat it with respect and do everything I can to make your pet feel at ease while you’re away. I’m very adaptable and just want your pet to feel happy and cared for wherever they are.
