About: Hi, I'm Jen. I have had animals all my life, horses, dogs and cats so I have alot of experience caring for them. I currently have two fur babies. Deezel, a four yr. old English bulldog, and Coco a three yr. Old English Bulldog.. I work full time through the week, but I am off weekends and would love to help out with your baby any way I can. I treat my dogs like my babies and I would do the same for your pet. Rather you need a sitter, drop in, walks, or someone to keep your fur baby they will be treated as part of the family. Myself, my daughter (she is 21) and Deezel love meeting new fur babies. Hope we get to meet yours.
About: I have had love for all animals from a very young age! Cats, dogs & even reptiles. I have a dog, 3 cats, crested gecko & a leopard gecko! Currently I am studying online to be a canine enrichment technician and working part time at a boarding facility! My daily routine consists of walking, feeding, playing, enrichment, giving meds & snuggles!! I am available Monday-Friday 6-2 and Saturday & Sunday is to be decided, as I do work part time through the week & need days to rest! I am all for the safety of dogs! when going on walks slip leashes are used instead of a collar & leash so they won’t slip out! Distance is kept from people and dogs as nothing can ever be predicted! I believe cleanliness is a must for the pet itself, bowls & toys! A consistent routine is necessary along with enrichment/playtime!
“Harley is so amazing. She is very detailed and a well rounded pet lover. She took to our three cats like she’s known them for years. We felt at ease while we were away and we will always be coming back to Harley as long as we can!”

“Nikki is wonderful. She was my first Rover booking and made me feel at ease. I knew my cats were in good hands. She communicated well and sent pictures, which I enjoyed. Whether you are new to Rover or looking for someone new, I highly recommend Nikki.”

“Tracey is incredible professional, patient and kind. We agreed to a drop in visit schedule and when that didn’t work out Tracey went above and beyond to make sure our dog was well cared for by staying over and house sitting with no advance notice. Her communication about the situation was so dependable. She is an excellent asset to the rover community!”

About: Hello! My name is Mattie! I'm a 20 year old vet assistant and college student. I have been employed full time in the veterinary field as an assistant for almost 4 years and have truly found my passion for caring for our furry, scaled, feathered, and hairless friends. I'm trained in all kinds of care and truly love what I do. Pets comfort and happiness mean the world to me and being able to care for them has beena. dream come true. If you are looking for someone who will provide your pet with fun and safety while bringin you comfort while you are away you've come to the right person! Currently I am working full time in the veterinary clinic and due to emergencies and surgical schedules my schedule can be a little weird. For this reason I am not always available on the same days. But I keep my calendar updated so if I am marked open feel free to book! If ever there is a scheduling conflict I will reach out with ample time so you can find another sitter! I believe in fear free care for animals and let them tell me what they’re comfortable with me doing. I personally own two dogs that are behavioral cases. One being very high energy with severe anxiety and the other an aggressive dog with unpredictable tendencies around strangers. Because of this and other animals in clinic I have become very aware how to read canine and feline body language and know when they are telling me "no!" I believe if an animal does not want to do something they never should have to unless it is for their own good. Your pets will never be put into dangerous situations!
About: Pet care experience that I have obtained through the years -Humane society work over 2 years (cats + dogs) -Doggy daycare work over 5 years (dogs all ages) - Babysitting for 2 families which had 2 dogs each for 5 years was used for vacations when their out of town or sporting events. Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Grafton
Lorie took wonderful care of my 5 fur children. When I returned from 3 1/2 days of travel they were excited to see me but not overstimulated because she spent significant time loving and playing with them. Highly recommended. If dogs could talk I think they would say “Hi Aunt Lorie. We like you and hope to see you again…thanks for keeping us company”

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
