About: Growing up, learning to take care of different kinds of animals was encouraged. Now living on my own, and having a dog and cat of my own, I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to take care of your animals. I have experience giving a variety of medications to both dogs and cats. I do my best to follow any schedule or instructions given by parents and to communicate as much as possible throughout the stay! I’m currently not working so I have plenty of time to care for your animals. I do have a dog and a cat of my own that I will need to stop to check in on during the day, but I do have someone who can stay with them during the night if you do need overnight sitting. I currently only offer pet sitting in the client’s home. I do my best to follow all rules and instructions given, I do prefer any specifics (feeding amounts, any medications, etc.) to be written down just so I can reference back if I need!

About: Hi! I’ve had a dog since I was a toddler and I’ve always been fascinated by dogs/pets, and caring for them. I love spending time with them, playing, walking and having fun! I’ve always considered them an extended part of my family, which makes me understand how importante they are in our lives and that they have needs just like everyone does! Part of those needs are caring, helping them keep themselves active, proper feeding and to stay healthy, no matter their age, breed or condition. Time apart from them can be tough, but by showing love and care, I help them to relax, have a good time, and to wait for you to be back with them! 🤗 I currently work part time, which gives me a lot of flexibility, and time to spend with my furry friends 🐶 I also have a car, that lets me move quicker and helps me attend my pet-guests 🥰 I have a large fence backyard and a sweet brown lab named Cocoa, who’s always happy to receive guests! In case our furry friend is not interested in having company, she likes giving them space. There’s plenty of room to keep them separate 🧘🏽

About: Having the background of being raised on a farm has given me an innate love for animals. I have become a go to person for my friends and family in the city with not only dogs, but farm animals as well (cows, goats, pigs, chickens, rabbits etc.). I have experience with injured and ill animals as well in care taking. I am able to follow dietary restrictions and diets in general as well. Pets, cuddles and walks are no problem of course! :) I currently work from home (Thurmont, M-F 8-5) so I am very flexible with me being in home for either a whole work day, half day or drop ins (if close by). I cannot board in home. I am able to follow the direction of your pets care. Food schedules/diets, crating, walks etc. I keep every pets area clean and tidy so they feel as comfortable as possible. I simply ask for communication ahead of time in expecations.

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover and grew up with dogs, so being around them has always been a big part of my life. I’ve dog sat and house sat for friends and family for years, and I’ve also helped friends who foster dogs take care of their puppies. I currently have two dogs of my own that we rescued from Saint Martin in 2023, and I absolutely adore them. They’re a huge part of my life, and I’m so thankful we were able to give them a loving home. I know every dog has their own personality and routine, and I’m happy to adjust to whatever makes yours happiest and most comfortable. Whether that means walks, playing outside, lots of attention and belly rubs, or just hanging out on the couch, I’m there for it! I’ll treat your pets like they’re my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and cared for while you’re away. I’m currently in between careers, which gives me a pretty flexible schedule and plenty of availability throughout the week. I do have a few other small jobs and am occasionally away on weekends, but my schedule varies and I’m generally pretty open. I’m happy to work with you to find days and times that fit your needs, and I’ll always be upfront about my availability! I will do everything needed to ensure your pets get the care that they deserve and make sure they are as safe, happy and loved as possible!

About: I’ve had the pleasure of raising a dog from 9 weeks old to his current 13 years. I’ve been there every step of the way, from puppyhood to adulthood and senior years. Plus, my dog tore his ACL, so I know firsthand the challenges of keeping your pet safe and out of harm’s way, along with the need for special care and instructions. I am currently a senior student athlete in college with a flexible schedule. I wanted to find a part-time job that I would actually enjoy, and I have always loved being near animals. Coming back home to my dog is always the highlight of my trip, so being near dogs and getting to see the joy on their faces has always made me smile. I think pets are happiest when they’re in their own space, so I’d rather work at someone else’s home. Plus, getting to know the dog and the pet owners will really help everyone feel more comfortable.

About: I have taken care of not only my own pets for almost my entire life, but also I have helped friends and family with their fur-babie(s)! I even taught my dog her lefts and rights. She’s a smart little pup. 🐶 As of today, (8/11/25), I have a pretty open schedule and I will adjust my schedule on here, promptly, if my schedule changes! About: Hello, I’m Kirsten. I have been actively dog sitting for the last 5 years in and around Washington county and Frederick county. As well as the surrounding areas. (Mount airy, woodbine, Frederick, smithsburg, Hagerstown. etc) As of September 2026 we do have a newborn. I do both overnights in your home and boarding opportunities in our home. I can work from home most days which allows a very flexible schedule. I am willing to accommodate for what ever needs are present and will make sure your pet is well taken care of. About: My whole life we had cats and dogs. I have house sat for neighbors and friends with pets since I was ten years old. I currently own a rabbit. I have also cared for all kinds of rodents, fish, and reptiles. I have trained puppies and kittens and a bunny. I also cared for my older dachshund and gave him shots and necessary medications. I work part time teaching yoga throughout the week and have lots of availability. I only have custody of my kids every other week making my week without them a great time for extra hours and house sitting. I keep pets from being hungry, thirsty, or bored. I keep pets nicely groomed and their areas and things nicely cleaned. I offer direct focus and affection. I can walk or run with dogs. I love doing yoga on the floor and watching cats or my rabbit climb all over me and get affection.
