About: I grew up always surrounded by pets, especially dogs. They’ve always had a special place in my heart. As a young adult, I worked with a boarding and grooming kennel. I learned how to handle different types of dog personalities and keep them happy. Now I’m a proud dog mom myself and spend a large amount of my time with my girl and volunteering at the humane society. I do have a full time job, but always have evening hours, so I am always free in the mornings for walks, potty breaks and check-ins. I have a Pomeranian that I got when she was 8 weeks old and she is my absolute baby. I put a lot of work into properly training her to make sure she didn’t have any bad habits. With that said she is still spoiled on the daily

About: I’ve had animals my entire life and genuinely enjoy having them around-- It doesn’t feel like work to me. I understand how stressful it can be to leave your dog, especially if you don’t want them in a kennel. My home is a calm, comfortable environment where your dog can relax and feel safe. I’m home most of the time right now, so your dog won’t be left alone for long periods. I have my own pets, so I’m used to different personalities and making sure everyone is comfortable. I’m also available for drop-in visits for cats if you prefer they stay in their own home. Your dog will be part of a normal, relaxed home environment while they’re here. I try to keep things low-stress and consistent so they can settle in and feel comfortable. Your dog will be safe here in a fenced-in yard and a calm home environment. Dogs are welcome on most furniture, and if they’re used to sleeping in bed with someone, I’m fine with that too. I always keep dogs on a leash when walking, and I prefer using a harness for extra safety. I understand that every dog has their own personality, and I try to make them feel as comfortable as possible while they’re here.

About: I was born and raised in the bitterroot valley and have never left! I have house and pet sat since I was 12 and have always loved it. I’ve cared for pets as well as livestock such as chickens, goats, and even horses and a donkey! Aside for animals, I have cared for house plants and gardens. I am happy to clean your house and make it my priority to leave everything better than I found it! I can stay overnight night or perform simple daily checkups. And if all you need is someone to walk the dog (or dogs!) I’d love to take them for a stroll to the park or along a quiet river path! I have always grown up around animals and know that they have needs besides my own. That stated I always have time for morning and evening feedings or walks, and I am also happy to make time in the afternoon if required! At home I start my day making sure the pets and livestock are fed, watered, and comfortable even before myself! Whenever I can I check up on them to make sure all is well. If a fence is broken or a gate ajar I won’t hesitate to fix it!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and currently have 2 large breed dogs. I have experience working with dogs of all sizes and many different temperaments, as well as working with reactive dogs on leash. I worked for a short while in the boarding portion of a vet clinic and have experience with overnight care of dogs and cats who needed very specific care such as specific foods and medications. I currently work part time, mostly remote and have flexible hours so I can fit home visits and dog walks pretty easily into my day. I live in Hamilton, so the closer you are to Hamilton the more likely it would be that I could help with short notice. I have a car and am happy to drive your pup to the park. I am usually unavailable on weekends but could most likely make something work Monday through Friday! I cannot have dogs at my house but I am available to come to your house for visits during the day (I need to be home with my own pups overnight) and could spend a few hours there working remotely if they need a little more time together. I would love to get them out for a walk or even short hike as well!

I work from home so will have plenty of time to play and give attention to your fur babies. I will make lots of time for playtime, walks and love. I have a fenced in yard or I can keep them crated if you need/want. Just depends on your preference. If you want me to dog sit at your house, I will follow whatever routine you already have with your dogs so they don’t even realize you are gone or mess their routine up too much.

About: Since I was 10 I’ve taken care of the pets in my family. Bunnies, dogs, cats, fish, gerbils and mice. I’ve given baths, taken dogs on runs, cuddled with kittens, played with bunnies. I’ve had to give medication to animals before. I’m quite active (trail runner) and really open to anything. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. I work remote from home as a video editor and I get to decide my own schedule and hours everyday. That means I get to prioritize your pet or home first! I’ve grown up with animals all my life - so I suppose at this point it is just second nature to be around them. I make sure not to leave often, especially in the first 48 hours, so that I can help keep your pets relax as you leave. I try to spend a lot of intentional time with them up front so they get to know me and trust me. I once had to walk a dog 5 times between 10pm and 2am because it was nervous, but by the next day we were best friends. It just takes time and patience.
