Pet Sitting in Goldmine

About: There have been very few times in my life that I didn't have a pet! My husband and I currently have a small farm of 3 dogs, 1 turtle, 1 rabbit, chickens, pheasants, and pigeons! I have experience in hand feeding baby birds, cats, and dogs. I've also had or taken care of rodents and some reptiles. I love all ages of animals from puppies and kittens to senior pets. I know how difficult it can be to find someone responsible and trustworthy enough to take care of your animals, especially the more exotic type, and would love the opportunity to be included in your pets lives! I work from home and am able to set my own schedule. I have an SUV with plenty of room for larger animals, if transportation is needed. I have almost 2 acres of unfenced yard. My 3 dogs are on a wired pet containment system. I have a sunroom inside my home where I house inside pets, which can be a free roaming area for your pet or where we can place their kennel/crate. For client house visits, I will follow the instructions laid out by the client.

About: I’ve had my own pets since I was 6. I’ve had cats, dogs, hamsters , and currently have chickens, ducks, and 3 cats. I have cared for pets off and on over the years for friends and family and have about 20+ years experience! I am a stay at home mom to my 3 kids. My kids love pets and would enjoy playing/helping as long as you are comfortable with this, but also I completely understand if someone is not comfortable with this. I have some flexibility throughout my days that I can care for your pet(s). Aside from caring for my kids and our own pets, I would love to help take care of your fur-baby! I do not have a fenced in yard, but we do have a large yard and are very far away from the road and on our road is not very busy, we do have neighbors with lots of pets and they have handled this area/property well - hopefully that helps. I would prefer to visit your home to care for your pets, but my home is also an option.

About: I’ve had animals my whole life, both my grandma and my mother have worked in animal clinics. I love being around animals and taking care of them. Being in college can be lonely sometimes and taking care of animals brings me company. As a military college student in Dahlonega, I know how busy life can get, but pet care is always a priority for me. About: I absolutely adore every animal, from the furry, to the scaly and slithery. I am well acquainted with dog and cats of all sizes and do not discriminate against breed or size. The majority of my life I've been surrounded by animals, and all of them have helped me grow to be the person I am today. I understand how important it is to pay attention to every twitch, head tilt, and noise a companion gives. Every fur-friend is so special and deserves to be treated and loved like a family member. I currently work at home as a digital artist, so my hours are flexible to meet what you and your companion need! Willing to walk or just sit and talk, I'm looking forward to befriending your fuzzbaby. I'm so excited to shake new paws and meet new furr-friends! I currently work at home, so my schedule is very flexible for any client! I will be updating my schedule if I need to for any reason. My front and back yard are very large, and the backyard has a fenced in area. There's plenty of room for running, walking, and playing around in the grass. Good shaded areas and sunny spots for days with good weather. I stay outdoors with my dogs and others when they're out, and will not leave them unattended. We have plenty of toys and activities to do!

About: My friends and family have always trusted me to care for their pets. This includes walking, playing, bathing, and just overall spending time with them. I just moved to this area, so pet care would be my full time at the moment until I complete my Dental Assistant course. I could do pet care daily. About: I had pets as a child. As an adult we became a dog family 10 years ago. He’s stubborn and way smarter than I am. I’ve learned so much loving on our Smitty. I’m patient and love to see their personalities shine. I work from home so I have a pretty flexible schedule. I would be happy to discuss your personal needs and work that into my day. About: I'm Georgia born. I had a dog since I was 4 yrs. old until I moved out on my own. I was raised in the suburbs of Atlanta, so I know about road safety! I worked for apartments for 32 yrs. Every dog I met became my friend instantly. Many owners would laugh and say "why don't you take him/her. They love you so much!" Now I have the time to spend with them, since I retired. And nothing pleases me more than playing with, and walking a dog. It's good for your heart, physically, as well as emotionally. And that's Major! I'm very good with keeping things under control, always with a loving tone! They know they are in good hands. Always good time spent with a dog!

About: I’m 26 years old and I currently have 3 dogs Luka (male dog ) is 9 y/o, Anika (female dog) is 5 y/o, Ace (male dog) 5 y/o. I also have a Ball Python and a Leopard gecko. As well as 13 chickens. My sweet rescue Gunther🌈 (male cat) passed a year ago. I’m done all my own training so if your dogs needs any help with learning basic tricks and or potty training so I can definitely help you with that! Let’s build a trusting relationship because my animals are my life and I’ll treat your babies like they’re my own! I’m a stay at home dog and chicken mom! So my schedule is wide open to fit any of your precious babies needs! My dogs get regular exercise and plenty of potty breaks as well as just laying around outside sun bathing! I own a house with 5 acres plenty of space to roam around. I have a small area fenced in for potty breaks if you’d feel more comfortable otherwise id take them for walks on my property! When inside they’re free to roam around. Any toys and food you want to bring with you is welcome! And I can follow feeding instructions if your pet has specific needs. I will follow whatever instructions you give! I so look forward to this journey!

About: I grew up in agriculture caring for all sorts of animals. From raising my own show hogs to rasing 20+ rabbits, to my own dogs, and working in commercial swine and poultry industries, I have seen it all! I have a two German Shorthaired Pointers, one that is 2 years old and another that is 10 months old. My husband and I upland hunt with them all over the state of Georgia and beyond. I also have a 15 year old Beagle/Min Pin mix who is my heart and soul and is a couch potato. We recently had our other dog who was a Red Heeler/Australian Shepherd who sadly passed away from cancer. I am capable of caring for pets of all ages and energy levels!! I do have a full time job in the Poultry Industry in Gainesville so I will be gone during 6am-2:30pm. Most families I pet sit for have no issues with that, but others require someone to be there all day. If you have any scheduling questions, please feel free to reach out to me. With my 3 dogs that very from young to old, lazy to high drive and energetic, I create a safe environment in my home so my dogs are safe and free of unnecessary harm. With our hunting dogs, my husband and I train them year round and exercise them at our family farm to give them the mental stimulation they need so they don't ruin our house! During bad weather, I usually prepare lick mats, raw-hide free bones, or some kind of enrichment treat.

With over 15 years of pet care experience I am equipped to care for dogs of varying breeds, ages, and training levels. I am comfortable working on basic training skills with young dogs, and providing specialized care to senior dogs. Having spent several years in animal healthcare I feel comfortable administering medications, and providing supportive care for chronic illnesses. That experience has also awarded me the insight be to able to monitor your pet’s behavior and activity in a way that will ensure their safety and overall health while in my care. My services are not limited to basic walks and drop-ins. We can go for a hike, swim in the lake, or go spend a day at the dog park! If there is a specific experience you wish for your pet to have on our day together let me know and I’m happy to try to accommodate! I do work a full time job as I am still trying to build my pet sitting and transport business but my hours are flexible and I can make all the time I need to help care for your pets. I ask a lot of questions and work with my client to follow the routines they already have set for their pets to make sure they always feel safe and comfortable. I like to do an introductory meeting at least a couple days before our scheduled time together to meet with your pet to determine if we will be a good fit for each other. If we venture out for a walk I have a crate secured in the car to safely transport pets from one location to another. I bring a portable water bowl and a bottle of fresh water on all walks so your pet will stay hydrated throughout our time together. If you choose to have me accompany your pet to the lake I ask that you please provide a life jacket for them so I can help provide the safest play space possible.

Hi! I'm Hailey! I'm a Franklin County native, but I currently reside in Elberton, Ga. I graduated highschool back in 2022, and have always had a driven passion for animals and taking care of them. I have two fur babies myself, Luna, my special needs baby that I adopted back in 2021, and Zeus, who is my high strung, attention hogging, doodle who I became the mommy to back last summer. I've always had a passion for animals large and small ever since I was a little girl. From helping turtles out of the road, to rescuing baby squirrels and opossums, to spending my free time riding around in the pasture loving on cows and horses on the farm.
