He was not exactly the right fit for the dogs in her home, but she worked very hard with him to make him as comfortable as possible. It was his first time being in a home with other dogs that he did not know. She was patient and kind and he was anxious, but very happy when I picked him up. “SO MANY GOOD THINGS I COULD SAY!!! My boyfriend and I look at our two dogs, Hope (almost 2) and Zeus (3 months), like they are children. Our girl Hope can be an escape artist at times and is very active, so we have a collar for her with gps and tracking of her steps. With that being said, in the past I have not re-used some people off rover because Hope simply would not move the entire time!!! At Donnas, Hope and Zeus both ran and ran (after all I could tell). And had an absolute blast. Her yard is fenced in so no dog could get out, even our little lunatics. She knows so much about dogs I have never felt so confident with leaving our babies with someone before. Hope and Zeus will be back!! Truly a gem!”

“Kind, conscientious, friendly, clean and safe environment. Christine booked us on a last minute notice. She took both puppies and gave them great care. We felt very grateful and relieved to leave them in her hands. Her little dog was an added blessing.”

“Evelyn is a Super nice and responsible person who genuinely loves my dog , with just 2 short visit and half day stay at her home, I feel comfortable leaving my Button at her care for next almost 1 month stay with Evelyn !”

About: My passion for caring for animals began in childhood while growing up on a farm. From a young age, I helped clean stalls, collect fresh chicken eggs each morning, and care for a variety of animals. I was always the kid begging my parents for more pets, and animals quickly became my greatest source of comfort through a tough childhood. I have over 10 years of hands-on experience working on a horse farm, where I learned the value of consistency, safety, and attentive care. In addition, I’ve fostered bottle-baby kittens, assisted my mom in breeding golden retrievers, and helped raise her litters many times. My love for animals has no boundaries — I’ve worked with everything from farm animals to dogs, cats, and even jumping spiders, which I currently breed. I have two dogs of my own — Meme, who is 6, and Pia, who is 3 — and they are my whole heart. They have a daily routine I take seriously: outside time at 6:00 a.m., treats before I head to work, a midday potty break, and an evening 30-minute walk at 5:30 p.m. On weekends, we enjoy adventures at the park or exploring new places. I understand how important structure and routine are for pets, and I treat every animal in my care as if they were my own. Over the years, I’ve provided a wide range of pet care — from weekend stays to week-long vacations — both in my home and in others’. Whether it’s an active pup needing exercise, a senior dog requiring gentle attention, or a young animal that needs extra patience, I’m flexible, attentive, and committed to giving each pet the love, safety, and care they deserve. My pups have an entire routine each day. In the morning they go outside at 6:00 am. I do have a fenced in back yard, so I leave my sliding glass door open so they may come in and out. The get treats in the morning before I go to work. I do return home for lunch to let them out to potty. I return home around 5:30 each day and we go for a 30 minute walk. They get their bedtime treat and we start again the next day. On weekends I do like to take them to the park or on adventures. My pups would love some friends, and sleep overs. I know how important my dogs routine and/or schedules are and I would take your pup’s routine just as seriously. The amount of care I offer for pets on a regular basis always fluctuates. I have had pups for a week long vacation, and I have also had just weekend stays. Various weekends I do stay at others homes and care for their pets. I’m very flexible.

About: I have been taking care of dogs my entire life. From my families, to my neighbors and to my friends, they have all asked me for help. I am working part time right now, and I set my own schedule. So, I can work any time, any place. Let me know what works best for you. I always try to treat the animal with the upmost respect. They are living creatures and deserve the best treatment possible. I am very friendly to them and let them build trust with me first.

About: Caring for others is what I do best! I’ve raised two incredible children and we had two sweet cats while the kids were growing up in Massachusetts. I moved to Sarasota 2 years ago and have been dearly missing having pets and family around the house. I’ve loved and cared for many friends’ dogs over the years too and would absolutely love to care for your dogs & cats! I work a very flexible schedule from home in Downtown Sarasota, so I’m always available for pickup/drop-off/walks/jogs/potty-breaks. I am an avid walker (every evening) and I always take breaks throughout the day to go outside, workout, & move around, so I’d love nothing more than a buddy to come with! I have an open layout apartment with a small balcony, and I live across the street from a lovely park. My home is very safe for pets, and I’m able to keep an eye on them at all times since the apartment is petite and I work from the center of it. I’m more than happy to accommodate any environmental requests/needs you may have, just let me know!

About: I’ve grown up with two dogs and have lived with many others! I am a huge animal lover and I will make sure your babies feel safe and loved while you’re away. I have administered medicine to puppies and kitties before and am okay with strict feeding routines. My name is Kristen, I am 24 years old and in the University of South Florida Doctorate of physical therapy program. Besides a couple of classes I am very avalible and flexible for whatever you and your baby needs! I am a responsible pet owner myself and I know how deep a humans love fur their fur baby is. I can ensure that the safest care will be given to your baby. Let me know if you have any questions!

She has immense love for every living being and you can feel it in her presence. Growing up, my mom treated our cats like they were our siblings, and she was always the first to get a call whenever friends or neighbors were going out of town and needed dog-sitting coverage. I’m so happy that Rover is giving her the opportunity to care for pets again!”
