“Stephanie was dependable, respectful, and took great care of my cat Roxy while I was out of town for a week. Great communication with pictures every day. Roxy loved her ❤️”

“Miranda was great with all 3 of our dogs.”

About: I have been pet sitting on and off since I was 11. Most recently I have consistently been dog sitting since I was 19. I do work a full time job Monday-Fridays and take care of the pets I’m sitting for when I’m not at work. I love dogs and helping people when I can and this is a great way to do that! I have experience taking care of dogs between 8months-15 years old; I have taken care of small and large breeds in that age range. I have been responsible for managing pets medications during those times as well. I make it a point to do meet and greets with families and pets before watching them to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone, especially the dogs. I like to go over their usual schedules and things to be aware of so the pets can be as comfortable as possible while I stay with them. I’m a very lowkey person and a homebody, so when I’m not at work I’ll be with the animals making sure they are taken care of and having a good time until their families are home. I work Monday through Friday, between 8-430/5, but my weekends are free. When Im pet sitting, I focus on taking care of the pets first and foremost, so I don’t make any other plans while taking care of pets so I can be there before and after work. I make sure to keep things cleaned up so there isn’t anything around that could be harmful to the pets. I go outside with them to make sure they are good, or check on them periodically if they are out there for a while. I make sure to give them my attention while I’m with them whether that’s playing with them, giving them cuddles, or going for walks. At my own home we have our backyard closed, and since my dog is small we have the gate extended to prevent her from being able to potentially get out.

“Stephanie is amazing with The Brain!”

“My babies and I just love Amber! You know someone cares about your pets, when they text during a drop-in visit, asking if it’s okay if they stay a bit longer! ❤️”

About: I am a big dog lover, they are truly man's best friend. I have owned several dogs and taken care of family and friends dogs. I will do my best and more to make sure your fur babies are taken care of. I do enjoy spoiling so make sure to have treats on hand or I can definitely bring some to. 🤎 I work part-time, so my availability may vary on the days I’m scheduled to work. However, on my off days, I can stop by multiple times to check in, walk, play with, and care for your dog(s) as needed. If there’s ever a day I’m marked as unavailable, feel free to message me, I might be able to adjust my schedule! The first thing I do when I arrive is make sure your dog’s basic needs are met—food, water, and any medications if needed. After that, it’s time for fun! I love engaging with dogs through fetch, tug-of-war, belly scratches, or just some quality cuddle time.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was very young. For 20 years, I have cared for four dogs of my own, 2 pit bull terriers, a chihuahua, and a 5-month-old pitbull husky mix, all rescued from the humane society. I have also cared for multiple breeds of different ages and sizes in my lifetime of friends and families. I enjoy caring for different types of dogs including training, bathing, feeding, playtime, and walking. I am currently a graduate student at the University of South Dakota (online) and have a part-time job. Here are my available days/hours: M - F: 7am-11:30am ; 6:00pm-9pm I currently live in a pet-friendly apartment surrounded by parks. A little yard outside of the apartments is available to all residents and pets. I provide a bed for the pet and if the pet prefers a bed or couch, I am also open to those options. I do live with my boyfriend who is a student-athlete at the University of Illinois. He also has 10+ years of experience with dogs. We very much are dog lovers so your dog will get the care and attention he/she needs.

About: Hi! My name is Emma and I am an avid dog lover, with three puppies of my own, I have previously worked in a no kill shelter where I was trained in basic training, administration of most medication, and care of senior animals. I hope I can be a good fit for your lovely pets:) I am currently a student who works part time, I am avalible in the evenings to check on your pups! On weekends I have full availability I want to make sure that with watching your pet, they are getting lots of love, quality care and support. I will always be punctual in time needed to check on the pups, and will make sure they are getting lots of love while you are away!

“Suzy was great. She came and took care of Pepper, fed her and made sure she had plenty of exercise before she left. I was so happy that she was there for Pepper. I would recommend her.”

About: I have taken care of dogs including giving medicine, taking them for walks, and giving them baths. I have three beautiful dogs of my own. One of them is blind so I understand how to take care of pets that have health issues. I work until 5 pm but I spend so much time alone I would love to spend time with someone’s pup and earn money while doing something I love. I only have the ability to care for dogs at someone else’s home and take them for walks. I can’t do anything until after 6pm.

“Camryn is super responsive, reliable, and consistent. Will definitely work with her again. Thank you!”

“Bre was amazing and gave bubba attention and love during her drop ins. She was also very communicative and we will definitely book her again!”

I don’t know how else to put it other than I love and respect animals, they love and respect me :)) I have open availability to best suit your animals needs. My life revolves around keeping my animals safe and happy, I would love to do the same for yours when you are away! I have reliable transportation to ensure the pet in question gets their needs met on time. “Gage communicated well all events that occurred with my dogs in a timely fashion. She drove a long distance to perform her duties and it was much appreciated.”

About: I have always loved animals since I was very little. I wanted nothing more then to work with them. I started dog sitting for my moms friends when I was about 16, then when I was 18 I got a job where I bathed, medicated, fed, and vaccinated puppies. A normal day for me there was working with about 15-20 puppies and I loved it. I am currently in the veterinary field where I take care of many different breeds of dogs and cats and all different ages. I am experienced with medicating both dogs and cats. I also never stopped dog sitting since I was 16 it’s still a passion of mine. I currently work at a vet clinic 4 days a week but Wednesdays and weekends I’m completely available! For extended house sitting request I can be available:) I have a nice fenced in yard for them to play in. I care for them as if they were my own. Whatever is needed for me to make them happy I can do.

About: Ever since I can remember, I had a soft heart for furry friends! Does it matter what kind? Absolutely not! I love cats, dogs, big, small, young, and old. When I was younger my mom would get upset with me often for trying to bring all kinds of animals home! I have grown up with family pets, pets of my own, and have pet sat for friends and family members. I treat every animal and pet that I have the pleasure of meeting with care, respect, and love as if they were my own! I am passionate about helping people, families, and pets feel secure about separating while working and traveling. Pet care is something I am able to do because I am a mama that stays home to raise her baby. There is always someone at home, so your pet will get their food, potty, play, and snuggle needs met consistently throughout the day. Due to being in an apartment, my husband and I make sure to take our furry friends out for multiple potty breaks, walks, and to the Bark Park in our complex for play multiple times a day! Your pet will never go unsupervised. We treat every pet like our own with love, safety, and attention.

About: I am Deaf, but I can communicate with you by phone, note, or in person. I am still learning how to take care of any kind of dog. My friends and family relied on me to walk, feed, and play with their dogs. I am always available to have plenty of time with your dogs! I am available to walk and care for your dogs on the weekdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. If you want me to stop by your place to take care of your dog, I would be glad to take care of your dog! Drop-in visits: I can check in with your dog and make sure everything is good. I can play with your dog for a short time, feed your dog, or do something that you want me to do. Dog walk: if you do not have much time to walk your dog during the day, I can walk your dog and ensure your dog is energetic and happy! If your dog is not fond of any dogs, let me know so I can help you out with that.

“Breanna went above and beyond for my kitty! She sent detailed updates and pictures throughout her time here, and knowing she was getting all the love and attention made it so much easier being gone for so long. My cat even ended up having an ear infection and is terrible with ear drops, and she gave them to her for about a week with no problem. I will definitely use Breanna in the future, thank you so much!!!☺️”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was a little and have always been around them growing up. I am reliable and consistent when taking care of peoples animals and houses. I realize how big of a responsibility it is to watch someone’s house and animals. I’m currently working part time and have flexible hours. I am a homebody and would love to work weekends also! I have my own car so transportation is not a worry. I fully understand every house and animal has different requirements. I pay attention to detail and your house and animals specific care won’t be overlooked!

About: I am a lifelong animal lover with a deep appreciation for the joy and companionship pets bring. Although I don’t currently have any pets of my own due to rental restrictions, my heart is full of love for dogs. I previously cared for two wonderful cocker spaniels who lived long, happy lives and are now over the rainbow bridge. During their golden years, they developed special needs, including blindness and deafness. This experience gave me valuable skills in caring for senior dogs and administering medications, including eye drops. I’m comfortable and confident providing compassionate care to dogs with unique requirements. Offering my services on Rover allows me to share my love for animals and connect with your beloved pets. I look forward to giving them the same love and attention I gave my own furbabies. Caring for dogs truly fills my heart. 💛 I work full-time with a hybrid schedule, spending two days at home and three days in the office, which is just 15 minutes away. This allows me to provide support during the day, like letting your furry family member out or checking in as needed. My weekends vary, but I’m happy to coordinate with you to accommodate your needs—whether it’s daytime visits, evening care, overnight stays, or anything in between. Just reach out, and we can find a schedule that works for both of us! Offering loving and reliable in-home care for your pets to ensure they feel safe and comfortable in their own environment. Whether it’s feeding, walks, playtime, or cuddles, I’ll provide the same care and attention as if they were my own.

Tarah I.Star Sitter
“Tarah is a very beautiful young woman, inside and out. She has a very positive outlook in life and very easy to talk to. We had no questions of leaving and trusting her in our house with our 3 very spoiled furbabies. She completely follows any directions that our dogs needed. My husband and I have had the blessing to watch her grow into such a beautiful young woman. She is extremely intelligent, kind and prompt and a very compassionate loyal person. My husband and I have known her since she was 19 and she is 28 now. She is very persevering and dedicated young woman and spent so many hours moving up to a manager for Starbucks and that is a huge deal. If you have any questions while you are gone Tarah is prompt to return your message or vice-versa. We have used her exclusively to stay with our puppies for over 10 years. She books up quickly and we will always refer her to anyone. Do not hesitate to reach out to me or my husband for any questions through email. We both love her as our own.”

“Ashley would be an amazing pet caregiver. She goes far and beyond to give the best care that your pets need. When I was busy during winter and in college, Ashley helped take care of my cat, Croissant. She provided the necessities and updated me regularly about my cat to reassure me. Whatever I asked, she answered and delivered. I highly recommend Ashley as she is a responsible pet caregiver !”
