About: I’m a retired wildlife biologist with lots of time and interest in taking care of animals. I’ve had dogs and indoor (mostly) cats most of my life and thus I’m fully used to scooping poo, sweeping up kitty litter, etc. You will not return to a minefield in the yard or a messy litter box I’m retired and thus available often. You can count on me to spend quality time with your pets, not just feed and go. I look forward to meeting them I like animals more than most people, haha, and will care for them with great focus. Your pets will be my buddies and we’ll have a safe and fun time together. I do not have a fence but my house is in the middle of a 113 acre mostly wooded property I own.

When I’m not home, my husband is available to help, so your pup will have plenty of companionship and care. I want every dog staying with us to feel comfortable, happy, and right at home. Your pup’s safety and comfort are very important to me. I have a fenced-in yard where dogs can safely enjoy some fresh air and playtime, as well as a friendly dog who loves having company. I’m happy to follow your dog’s normal feeding, walking, sleeping, and medication routine. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, and comfortable home away from home while keeping you updated with photos and messages so you can have peace of mind.
