“James made our dog's first overnight stay away from home a big success. Many thanks to James, his wife De and their dogs Charlee and Chloe. They make Winston feel right at home and part of the family. James sent lots of pictures throughout the day and they clearly showed Winston having a wonderful time. We are taking a trip next week and we will be booking a stay with James because we know Winston will have a great time and be in good hands.”

“Rebekah was truly awesome! She kept me informed with doggie’s progress and provided pics. He loved the kids and felt totally comfortable booking again! Thanks for great service!”

“Michelle and her family took wonderful care of Copper during his stay. Lots of pictures and great communication! Will definitely use her again when we are in town. Thank you!”

“Bella had a great time. She stayed at a house , not in a cage. I received morning and evening comments and pictures. Linda was very kind and if we need birding again, we’ll be calling her again. I am confident I will be sharing this experience with my friends and family.”

“Yet another top tier return stay. For my two dauchunds there is no better place for an extended stay. I appreciate all of the updates sent daily and know they are in the best hands with Tom and Nikki 😍”

“Josh and his human & canine family took such great care of our 19 month goldendoodle, allowing us a few days to visit our daughter & her family in Houston. We received photos, videos and texts about Doogie daily, which made this doodle helicopter mom much less stressed about leaving him! He played non-stop evidently, went on an adventure with Josh and his family, came home exhausted and slept for 12 hours last night! I can’t thank Josh & Kerith enough for their loving care of my big pup. We will see you again next time we travel! Thank you for taking such great care of him!”

“My Rat Terrier had a good time visiting. Met cats for first time. Met goats and loved the farm life. She was happy there I believe. Healthy and happy when we picked her up after a week.”
“our second time: i just love how they treat him like their family dog. just how we do it at our home. he’s always so much more well behaved then when we left him. thanks diana and family. love yall dog sitting for us.”

“Absolutely—that makes the review even stronger because it’s specific and helpful to future clients. Obadina was amazing with both of my dogs while I was away. I have a Cane Corso/Lab mix and a Pit Bull, and he handled them with no issues at all. It gave me real peace of mind knowing they were in great hands. Not only did he take excellent care of them, but he also shared some great dog training tips that were really helpful. You can tell he genuinely cares about animals and knows what he’s doing. I came home to two happy, well-cared-for dogs, and I wouldn’t hesitate to trust him with them again. I highly recommend Obadina to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and caring dog sitter! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Our English Cream Golden was well loved and well taken care of by Joey and his family. Joey shared pictures and updates with us during Hopper’s stay and was so accommodating. We highly recommend Joey!”

“Gingi was great! She sent pictures and videos and put our worrying minds at ease about our elderly dog. Gracie seemed very comfortable there and was active and took daily walks. We don’t travel without our dog often, but will definitely book with Gingi again when we do. :)”

“Valeria was very nice and she helped us out tremendously being that it was last minute. She sent us pictures of Bella playing with her kids and just having a good time.”

“Mika and her family took our very last minute request and she did an amazing job taking care of Bella and Gizmo. She sent pictures daily and we greatly appreciated it. Thank you sooooo much!”

“Becky is amazing! She was able to help watch my dog with very short notice. She was a true blessing! She was very accommodating and took the best care of my dog who has some special needs, giving him medications, sticking to a strict feeding schedule, and providing pictures and updates.”

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

“Michelle and Philip are a fun couple. Full of love and compassion that flows throughout their home between their children and pets. Accommodating our request with a one week notice was a blessing. My fur girls are new to boarding based on Michelle's updates and photos they were able to adjust and remained comfortable during their extended weekend. My fur babies returned home healthy and happy 😊.”

“Amber is AMAZING! Sent pictures of my girl everyday and gave her the best time. We did a meet up before hand to make sure our babies got along, and they had the best time together. She is a kind and safe person for your dog to stay with!”

Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
