“Bianka is amazing! She accommodated our trip by having Georgia come early so we could leave to beat the snow. She sent the cutest pictures and videos. I think my dog likes her more than me haha! 110% recommend and will be using again in the future!”

“Emily is wonderful. I had my first puppy for less than 1 month when my work schedule demanded that I work a Saturday all day and night. I found Emily on Rover.com and trusted my instinct that she would be a great puppy sitter, for my puppy ...and for me. Before finding Emily I feared I'd spend 9 hours worried about my dog, and the day/ night would drag on feeling like forever. Thanks to Emily I had no worries whatsoever! I loved seeing the photos and video she sent, further boosting my confidence my dog was happy, healthy, safe and in the best of care. Please if you are seeking any services for dog sitting/ care, know that Emily and her household (her dogs, animals, and husband) are trustworthy, responsible, and the best! This coming from an over anxious first time puppy owner who was a complete stranger to Emily before luckily finding her on this website. I decided on utilizing Emily over friends/ family because of her knowledge and experience. Im so glad I did, it was the best choice. Thanks so much Emily, and I'll 100% be reaching out for future puppy care again! :)”

About: I have been a loving dog owner for 40+years now. My pets have included lap dogs, hunting, working mixed and show breeds. I’m experienced in dog training and obedience. I have taken the pleasure of showing AKC dogs and have a practical knowledge in breeding dogs. I am very passionate about the care I give to my animals in my home. I always found joy in having a dog in my presence. “It’s a necessity”. I have bred and raised dogs from puppyhood to adults all while raising four children myself. I have rescued quite a few dogs and gave them a loving and safe home. I have helped my friends and family train their own dogs. A real feeling of love, comfort and trust come forth in my animals while in my care. I am well versed in any care for canines. At one point in my life, I had horses, sheep, chickens, goats, fish, lizards, cats, rabbits and birds. What can I say, I’m an animal lover! Fur sure! Currently retired! I have all day to spend with your pet. I will include your pet with my daily activities. Pet will NOT be unattended. I will care for your pet according to your instructions and routine. I am comfortable administering medications, providing post-surgery care, and giving plenty of love and attention. Crating can be accommodated if requested. Pets receive regular exercise, walks, and potty breaks as needed, with a minimum of two outings per day. If approved by the owner, I can also take dogs to a local dog park for additional exercise and socialization. While I do not have a fenced yard, pets are always supervised outdoors, and I have plenty of space for safe play and exercise.
“Amanda was great with Ralphie during his doggie daycare stay. She was sweet, attentive and caring. Amanda has a nice big fenced in yard, which provided ample room for my energetic puppy to run and play. Ralphie really enjoyed playtime with her own beloved dogs and other guest too. He had so much fun that refused to leave when I picked him up. I would highly recommend the use of her services for you and your pets.”

About: Animals have been part of my life since I was 6 years old. I grew up caring for chickens, rabbits, and dogs of all sizes and personalities — from German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers to Poodles and Dalmatians. Over the years, I’ve also rescued puppies and helped find them loving homes. I truly believe pets deserve patience, respect, and genuine affection. I have experience caring for senior dogs and understand they need extra attention, calm energy, gentle walks, medication routines, and lots of love. I always try to make them feel safe, comfortable, and cared for like family. Besides having a full-time job, I dedicate my free time to caring for pets because it’s something I genuinely enjoy. I’m available for walks in the afternoons after 4 PM and I also have 3 days off during the week for sitting, drop-ins, or longer care depending on your needs. I can care for your furry friend at your home or mine, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and communication so you feel at peace while away 🐶🤍 I have a full-time job, but I drive the afternoons after 4 and 3 days off a week at any time to walk your furry friend. I could take care of them at my house or yours depending on the schedule you need. I have three days off per week for care and full weekdays for walks

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Glendon
Yuli is absolutely amazing- kind, nurturing and safe… my pup Jah wasn’t feeling the best and I know he had a relaxing time. She provided updates and she takes the best pics of him!!! Whenever I come home (nj) and able to bring him it’s refreshing to know she always has space for him… thanks again for being flexible and loving on my big guy!!! And a huge thanks for two magnet photos my mom was sooo happy she put it up immediately right next to the last one you gave me… lol… now I have one for my own fridge

My puppy, Raphael, integrated perfectly into Morgan and Nathan's home. This success was due to their attention, care, and the wonderful interactions they provided to ensure he had the best possible experience. Also, have to extend a thank you to their two adorable pups, who entertained and accompanied him throughout the day. I will definitely be utilizing their services again.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Glendon commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
