About: I have had two babies of my own since I was 7 years old and plenty of other experience in pet care outside of that! I have 2 years of experience volunteering at the Kitsap Humane Society and pet sitting experience for neighbors. I have worked with animals of all sizes and demeanors! Even the special needs ones :) I am currently a college student at the University of San Diego and I am home for the summer, so I have plenty of free time to take care of your babies! When I’m caring for a pet in your home, trust is my top priority. I know it takes a lot to let someone into your space and care for a beloved family member, and I don’t take that lightly. I follow your instructions to the T, keep everything clean and secure, and make sure your pet feels safe, seen, and loved. I treat every home with the same care and respect I’d want for my own.

“Brad was great with our reactive dog. He handled him in a gentle manner and was able to take him for walks and play with him. Baldur really enjoyed his visits.”

About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover who knows just how important it is to leave your pup somewhere that feels like home. When I look for a sitter myself, I want peace of mind—knowing my dog is safe, loved, and having a great time. That’s exactly what I offer to you and your dog. My partner and I share our home with our happy, high-energy 2.5-year-old male pup, who we raised from a puppy. He’s super social and always ready to help new dog friends burn off some steam—seriously, he’ll make sure your pup gets plenty of playtime! My partner also grew up breeding miniature English Bull Terriers, so between the two of us, we’ve got years of hands-on experience with all kinds of dogs. When you come to pick up your dog, you won’t have to wonder how it went—you’ll know they were in good hands. Happy, tired, and well-loved—just how it should be. Pet care is built right into my daily life. I work from home, so I'm around all day to give your dog the attention and care they need. I take a midday break to walk my dog 1.5–2 miles, and your pup will be right there with us, getting exercise and fresh air. After work, we go for another walk and spend time playing fetch in the yard. With our fenced yard and dog door, they can enjoy safe outdoor time throughout the day too. Your dog will be an active part of our home life and get plenty of movement, love, and attention from morning to night. 🐶 What you can expect: One-on-one attention: I only host one dog at a time, so your pup gets my full care and focus. Daily walks and outdoor play to keep them active and happy. A dog door to our fenced yard—they can come and go as they please (safely!). A calm, secure, and loving environment where your dog can relax just like they would at home.

About: I've had dogs of my own for 20 years. I currently have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 1 Holland lop bunny. I grew up on a farm with dogs, horses, cats, and lamas. I love all animals! I work at a school so I'm off for the summer! This leaves my schedule pretty open day to day. Most weekends are open as well. I can stay in your home with your pets or stop by as needed. I'm open to follow your care plan. Whatever keeps your pets comfortable.

About: I’ve been taking care of my own cats and dogs since I was a child. I have high standards of care for my own animals that I apply to my pet sitting jobs as well. I have years of experience in the veterinary medicine field as well. I do work full time but I have the potential for mid-day check ins. I am available on weekends and weekdays for pet sitting, dog walking, or checking in on pets. I an happy to stay in your house with your pup so that they are comfortable in their own space. I do have 2 friendly dogs of my own that can either stay home or join me on jobs.

About: I played soccer at UW for 5 years, have recently moved to Gig Harbor with my fiance, and have been looking for ways to participate more in my community. I walked dogs with Rover during college and am so excited to be helping in this space again! About myself, I have been a cybersecurity consultant since graduating from UW in 2022 and have continued to serve as a mentor and guest lecturer at the UW. I believe myself to be a trusted member of my neighborhood and community. As a former athlete, I can accommodate a variety of distance/speed expectations for walks. I am also very punctual and promise excellent service with regular updates if desired. I work remotely and have a normal 8-5 schedule, however there is often plenty of flexibility and I could just as easily accommodate a mid day walk as an evening walk. I have a fenced yard with plenty of grass for playing. My house is also great for dogs to lounge around or watch squirrels through the windows (my Yorkie’s favorite pastime activity haha!)

About: I have worked and played with various different animals, from dogs and cats to birds and cows from a young age. When approaching an unfamiliar animal I always take care to ensure their comfort and safety. Regarding more specific experience, I'm comfortable with very reactive dogs (My own dog is a reactive fella) and elder animals. I'm happy to work with disabled animals too and learn about the care that they require, as well as making sure that they're happy and comfortable. I am able to give pills and apply ointments/creams, but as of right now have no formal training on injections. I currently go to school part time and work pet sitting other part to be able to go to school, as well as pay for our modern-day expenses. Outside of work and school I also draw/sew/write and hope to pursue a career in animal training. I can easily keep a pet away from danger/other dogs while on walks by blocking other dogs from getting to your pet or taking a step to the side to assess what's happening or wait for the danger to pass on. I am experienced in fetch/tug-o-war/various toys attached to strings and light wrestling. I can also kick around a soccer ball but am not the best at aiming. I also have a calming presence and finger ready to scritch the part that needs affection when your pet needs cuddles/attention.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life, from growing up with family pets to recently caring for pups on our lively little farm. Now I have settled into our new home on a peaceful island, where our days are filled with long walks, playtime at the community beach, and plenty of cuddles. We have a secure fenced yard, and your dog will be treated like part of the family—with love, routine, and lots of tail-wagging fun. I am home all day, so your furry family member will be watched and loved. 🐾 We love our little island and the quiet walks and fun on the beach each day. Whether your pet is staying in my home or I’m caring for them in yours, I treat each animal like my own—with patience, attention, and lots of affection. I follow their routines closely, from feeding and medication schedules to favorite toys and walking routes, to help them feel comfortable and safe. In my home, they’ll enjoy a calm, pet-friendly environment with a fenced yard, cozy spots to relax, and daily outdoor time. In your home, I make sure to respect your space and keep everything clean and consistent so your pet can thrive in familiar surroundings.

About: Passionate and devoted animal lover with years of experience in pet care, including personal ownership and watching friends' pets. Your furry companions will receive trusted and compassionate care. Previously a Forester, now currently in between jobs, so I have a decent amount of free time while pursuing some side quests to get by. Depending on what is needed specifically from the pet owner I will tailor my approach according to that, but giving them the same amount of care and attention that I do with all critters.

Chunteva S.
“Chunteva will be an amazing pet caregiver for Rover! I have worked as a dog walker/daycare attendant for several years for both small private organizations and large corporations like Wag! I am aware of the challenges this job presents, but I have not doubt that Chunteva will meet each challenge and always put the health and safety of the pets first. I can speak firsthand to the care she provides as she has babysat my dog and cat on multiple occasions when I have gone out of town. She has been sure to take them on multiple walks per day, give them plenty of cuddles and treats, and provide photo updates so I can see how my boys are doing! I cannot recommend her enough for this position!”
