About: Growing up on a farm in Texas, I've been surrounded by and caring for animals my entire life, which has given me a unique and comprehensive understanding of their needs. daily pet care routine involves potty breaks, meal times, exercise that’s fun (play time!), & cuddles + love!! Every pet is treated like family and taken care of like my own. In my home, my approach to pet care for dogs and cats centers on creating a safe, comfortable, and stimulating environment. I prioritize their individual needs, ensuring they receive proper nutrition, regular exercise, and plenty of affection. For dogs, this includes daily walks, playtime, and consistent positive training reinforcement if needed, while for cats, it involves providing enriching activities like interactive toys, scratching posts, and quiet spaces for relaxation. Cleanliness is key, so I maintain tidy feeding areas and litter boxes! I also live on an island with a fenced yard so safety is huge and you can feel comfortable here.

Yuri barks at other dogs and very nervous around them. I knew it would be good for him to be around other dogs so he can get used to being or seeing them without barking. Hayley was very nice and when I picked up Yuri he looked like he's been out and running around all day. It was nice to see him not barking at Hayley's dog, even though he just ignores them it still nice to see him not bark at other dogs. We will definitely take Yuri back to Hayley on our next trip. ”

My husband and I were completely thrilled, and a little shocked to be honest, at how easily Romero transitioned into their care. I think he could tell these were loving and gentle souls and he was safe. Luna was also super comfortable in their home and spent her time watching nature from the top porch. We went on vacation without any worries and that was a comforting feeling for us. When you meet Gae and her husband, you instantly know these are great people. I would recommend Gae as a pet sitter and will definitely reach out if we need pet care again!”
