(Yes... that's what we get for letting our 3 year old name the dog.) Aussy Shepards are notoriously energetic. We were thrilled to hear that Raquel was able to take little Tio on a run through Lincoln Park when he stayed with her. That's something we don't get around to doing so much with a young kiddo in a stroller. She is a wonderful caregiver who is able to adapt to the needs of each pup and clearly has a passion for any furry friend who needs a place to stay. Her home is spacious and very dog friendly. We will happily continue to use her so long as she is available!!!”

About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, cats, dogs, even small animals like guinea pigs, hamsters, and hedgehogs. I’ve also been all of my friends and family’s go to pet sitter. I have a passion for caring for animals and have always had it since I was little. I can feed your pets, bathe your pets, walk your pets, anything you need done for your fur babies will be done and I love giving them extra love and cuddles, too! You can trust they’re in good hands, I treat animals how I’d want someone to treat mine. I currently have a part time job but it’s very part time for the moment. My schedule is very flexible and I’m available most days at anytime. I can crate your pups if you need me to and keep an eye on them when they’re outside. I keep a watchful eye on my babies so I can promise you I’ll do the same to your’s. Even if they’re counter surfers, I’m fast on my feet to make sure they don’t eat or chew on anything they’re not meant to. I absolutely adore any dog so I can promise to stay firm with them without being too aggressive or mean toward them. I’m a strict rule follower so anything I’m instructed to do will be done.

About: I am a very outgoing, open minded person. I’ve had a variety of pets from childhood until now. I love animals, and am very excited to meet and care for new friends. I am available everyday and every weekend. I am currently working from home. We have an open field outside my home for quick potty breaks, with a big back porch for sitting outside and enjoying nature. I am currently working from home full time, so I'll be spending plenty of time with any guests. I usually wake up around 7am to get an early start for the day! Pets daily home routines don't change when they are staying here. I will always ask what their schedules look like if I am not specifically told.

She dropped in our home two times per day to feed and administer medication but she also spent more time with him petting and “talking” to him each visit. She texted pictures and notes about how he was doing. She even left us a sweet card and note about how much she enjoyed taking care of him, especially because he reminded her of her previous cat. She is obviously a real animal lover and made us feel so much more comfortable about leaving him. We highly recommend Vera for pet care.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs of every kind since I was 11. Many experiences with all different breeds. Bulldogs, Saint Bernards, Pitbulls, Shepherds, Yorkies etc. Always been a reliable resource for friends and family who need pet care if they are too busy, or going out of town! I am currently a student at Midwest Technical Institute. I have school Monday through Friday 8-1. Anytime after 1 during the week I am free for any pet care. About: I trained service dogs for 2 years. I currently work as a zookeeper, where I care for a variety of animal species. I have pet sit for many friends and family members throughout the years. I also have my Bachelor’s degree of Zoology. My current weekend is Wednesday and Thursday, where I am free all day. I’m free mornings before 7:30am, lunch time, and evenings after 5pm Friday- Tuesday in between work. I have large fenced in yard with plenty of room to run. I have very friendly large lab mix named Jasper who loves to play.
