I am currently on summer break before I go to grad school and have a very light, flexible schedule so I have so much time to spend with your pups! About: I provide reliable, loving care for pets of all ages and needs, from drop-in’s, walks, or overnight stays. With experience, I understand that each pet is unique and deserves personalized attention. You can trust your pet will feel safe, happy, and well-cared for while you’re away. About: From age 9 to 23, I was blessed with taking care of my beloved golden retriever, Lucky, from puppy training through senior care. I gained experience with crate training, house training, countless walks, and managing various health conditions. Lucky tore his cranial cruciate ligament at the age of 8, and, instead of surgery, we had great success with physical therapy (very cute, with many carrots and treats involved!). In his final year, Lucky had cancer, prompting me to take him to various specialists, including a veterinary acupuncturist/herbalist. I diligently managed his medications, monitored his food/water intake, and ended up cooking organic meals for him. I will treat your beloved pet with the same love and care as I gave to Lucky. My work schedule is flexible, so I can meet your pet's needs throughout the week and on Sundays. I'm generally available from 10 a.m. through the evening. I come prepared. I start by meeting with clients to understand your pet's needs and any specific requests you may have, taking thorough notes. When I walk dogs, I always take water, a collapsible bowl, treats, and emergency contact info. When I dog sit, I regularly play with the dog, especially with any favorite toys, to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible while you're away.
About: I grew up having pets since I was born, including dogs, turtles, hamsters, guinea pigs and others. My daughters and I have taken care of our neighbors and friends dogs, and we have experience interacting with cats from my brothers and friends. We have only guinea pigs now, but my daughters are longing for any dog-sitting especially, so we have plenty of space, love and affection to spare, if needed. I am a teacher with my summers off. My daughters are in camps periodically, but we are largely staying local throughout the rest of the summer, and I have a number of house projects that will keep me based at home for most days. Safe, slow-moving cars, dog-walking areas with doggie bag stations, coupled with open grassy areas, and conveniently located near several close-by parks and even a dog park 10 minutes way. Other dogs are leashed in the community. If needed, your dog can be kept in our finished basement, with plenty of space to move around. In your home, if you prefer to have the dog walked nearby and/or caged at night, that will not be a problem.
About: I have taken care of cats and dogs of all ages since I was 18 years old! I’m a cat owner of 4 years myself as well, and my kitty is my very best friend. As far as sitting, I have done mostly done overnight stays, but I have done pop ins and walking as well. I’ve sat for small dogs and large, puppies, kittens and elderly pups. I absolutely love spending time around and caring for animals. I do work part time, usually averaging about 5 shifts a week. I make my own schedule biweekly, and my shifts are generally no more than 5-6 hours, so my hours are extremely flexible depending on when I’m needed! I am all for play, walking, and unlimited pets when I dog/cat sit. I will pay careful attention when it comes to letting them out if there is a fenced yard, as well as to their collar and leash prior to taking them out on walks. A pet owners directions are very important to me as far as feeding/potty/medication times, and I take the responsibility of caring for any animal very seriously.
About: I grew up with a black lab named Speed. He was my best bud. Elsa, a rescued heeler, is my heart and soul now. I’ll care for your dog like I cared for Speed and like I currently care for Elsa. I understand dogs are part of the family and I take that seriously. I currently have the most availability on Saturday and Sunday. I am available some weekdays after 5 PM. I do anticipate more weekday availability in the near future. I will follow your guidance and rules concerning how and where to walk your dog.
