About: I’ve always had a genuine love for animals and enjoy giving pets the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I’m responsible, dependable, and attentive to each pet’s individual personality and routine. I understand that every pet is different, so I’m happy to follow feeding schedules, medication instructions, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Whether your pet wants to play, go for a walk, cuddle on the couch, or simply have some company, I’m happy to be there for them! I am currently working full time, Monday-Friday. My hours are 7am-3:30pm. I always check on animals before work and when I get off work. My weekends are open if needed, I typically check on animals twice to three times on my off days. I will always look after animals in their own home. This makes them more comfortable, and they won’t be scared of my animals or their surroundings. I am always willing to come by before your scheduled service and get them used to me so it’s not so shocking for them.
About: I’ve always lived with an animal and enjoy taking care and playing with pets. Growing up, I assisted with caretaking for our 3 dogs and I currently own a cat, Stella, who is my baby. I’m currently a grad student at Tarleton with mostly online classes so I have plenty of time to play and care for your pet! I only have classes on Monday and Tuesday and they only last 4 hours each so I have a flexible schedule! I have a sweet cat and we live in a tiny home right outside of Stephenville. I have volunteered with the SPCA and have been around teacup Chihuahuas to big and active dogs such as Shepherds, Great Danes, and high energy Greyhounds and Catahoulas. About: I have always grown up around dogs for as long as I can remember. From my puppy corgi to my senior lab mix, all dogs have a special place in my heart. I will always make sure the fur babies are safe and having a good time playing or just relaxing! I currently only coach a basketball team once a week night, so I am available all day every day to take care of you pets! At home, I help feed our dogs, play with them, and make sure they are taken out to potty regularly. I also assist with bath time ;) We have a fenced yard with several dogs at home. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet .
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
