About: I’ve taken care of all sorts of animals. I’ve had 1 bird, 1 ferret, 5 cats, and 6 dogs. I’ve trained 2 Dogs to obey basic commands and good potty habits. Im available for boarding on Fridays through Sundays. I work from home on Friday and I don’t work the weekends at all. I can also be flexible during week days as needed. I take my dogs for walks every 3 hours or at their request. We play fetch and tug-o-war in my backyard. My basement is a complete doggy daycare.

About: I have been handling and training dogs at daycares, puppy and adult day schools, and pet stores for over a decade, and I’m currently working on my certification through the Karen Pryor Academy for professional dog trainers. I prioritize safety and the use of positive reinforcement to keep dogs physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy, and I particularly enjoy helping fearful dogs become more calm and confident with clicker training. Right now I’m in the process of writing a business plan for my own company, so my availability is wide open for the time being. I am gentle, but firm and consistent. I use treats and other rewards paired with a marker to reinforce and shape the behaviors I want, and will use ‘time outs” to enforce necessary boundaries. Your dog will not pull me or get away with problem behaviors, but I also make sure not to be scary and to spend more time rewarding them when they do well. My home now has a large area with a 4ft chain link fence and a smaller potty area with a 6 ft stockade fence that exits from the basement for jumpers, puppies, and reactive dogs. I’m 20 yards away from a system of trails that I can use to hike dogs, as well as being in a neighborhood that can be used to work on distractions.

Originally from Massachusetts, I now spend most of my time in Connecticut. When your dog is with me, you can be sure they’ll get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection. I enjoy visiting parks, walking paths, and trails, and I’m happy to match any dog’s energy level—whether they love staying active or prefer some cozy cuddle time. About: I have a dog and so does my hole family ranging from big dogs (100lbs+) as well as little dogs (10lbs). I watch pets around my neighbor including feeding, walking, and giving pets I work a part time job so I have plenty of time to walk the dogs when ever. There are rare time I work a whole day and will walk the dogs when ever I have time I have two leashes one for smaller dogs and a thicker one for big dogs. I also have a fenced in house where if the dog needs I can bring. As well as a car and walking dog bowl carrier in order to allow the dogs to drink on hot days

About: I worked at a vet clinic and have experience boarding dogs and other animals. I've grown up with animals, 6 dogs total, and extensive work with farm animals as well. I'm dependable and haven't met a dog I don't get along with. I have reliable transportation and am very flexible with my hours. I also am experienced in bathing dogs and brushing their teeth, as well as some basic training. I can transport dogs as well if you would like for me to take them to a dog park. My home is extremely animal friendly and I will always do my best to treat your pets as if they are my own. Plenty of spoiling, within reason of course! All my pets are vetted, well socialized and very well taken care of. I have fairly open availability with minimal conflicts. Any pet in my home is not left unattended for more than 6 hours at a time and only if absolutely necessary. I have a fully fenced in pen in the yard with multiple water bowls/buckets available. I have a fully finished heated/cooled basement to keep animals separated from my own or each other should that be necessary.

About: I've had cats and dogs my whole life. I've taken care of them from when they were babies until old age. I've been training my family dogs since highschool. I just finished up a masters degree. I'm currently searching for jobs and have plenty of time to take care of cats and dogs at the moment. About: Ever since August 29th of 2018 I've been a mother to my beautiful dog named Daisy (Yorkipoo). If only she could speak, she would probably let you know that I'm always up at the crack of dawn to make sure that shes able to go outside and do her business and then as soon as we get home will I make her breakfast for her as well. I'm a very attentive person when it comes to taking care of animals in general to be honest. I'll always make sure that the animal is OK before taking care of myself. I can promise you that you can not go wrong with hiring me. Only thing that I do require is for whoever hiring me, to be OK with me bringing my dog Daisy, since I do take care of her full time. At the moment, I am taking time to just relax and focus on myself, so that means that I am fully available with no limitations! I have never known a life without pets. Growing up, my family always had dogs, including two German Shepherd police K9s and even a dog who used a wheel chair. Having both working dogs and pet dogs in the house has given a firm understanding of the differences between them, as well as helped me to feel comfortable around multiple different breeds. I have also bred and whelped both German shepherd and Labrador retriever puppies. Currently, my husband and I have two Labrador retrievers, five cats and four goats. I would love to take my passion for animals and turn it into a business one day, which is why I decided to start on Rover. About: I have loved animals all my life. I’ve never not had animals in the house, both cats and dogs. I’ve dog and cat sat a lot! Our dog Millie is one of the most social dogs we have ever seen and gets along with all animals, so during the stay your pet will have a built in best friend. Any special needs or care instructions are respected and followed of course. All animals are fed separately so there is no need to worry about any food aggressions!

About: I’ve taken care of animals most of my life and I would love to help out. I know lots of great walking/hiking trails to get the pups out of the house and all energy taken up. I’m very flexible with whatever is needed so please reach out if you have any questions and I’ll gladly get back to you! :) I work as a chef at a catering company full time so some weeks are busier than others, I normally am available Sundays and Mondays and later in the day Wednesdays and thursdays but I’ll gladly let you know my schedule for the week so we can work out times :) I have no problem going after work to check on and walk animals. When it comes to overnight I’ll gladly help out if just have to make sure I’m available that day I have a small dog and a cat in my home who are both extremely friendly and social, we have a big yard so plenty of room for the animals to run around on a leash. We have gates and crates if needed to make sure all the animals are kept safe

About: I’ve taken care of animals ever since i was a kid, i’ve volunteered and worked at a doggy daycare for 3 years now. i want to expand that as i love and understand how difficult it is last minute to find someone trustworthy to watch your furriends! I have always cared for animals my whole life, and I have a pup of my own who I take on daily adventures making sure her needs are met :) I have my own pup at my house who requires exercise daily, I give her plenty of mental and physical exercise opportunities every day. All day long I try to make sure she is pooped when it comes to bed time. I also give her lick matt’s before bed time :)
