About: I was born an animal enthusiast. I have had a menagerie of animals since I was a young child. Some of the animals I have had and have care taken are Dogs, cats, rats, rabbits, snakes, lizards, birds and horses. I began training and care taking dogs at ten. I competed in small dog shows and Frisbee events. I trained dogs for several years including puppy training and dog agility course training. My love for horses began at age twelve and I began training horses at thirteen. I currently have one loving and friendly Labrador and three horses. I work from home. I am an artist and have been drawing and painting animal portraits for years. I am flexible and at home most of the time. I have three acres of grass to walk, run and play with your dog. Your dog will be kept in the house with me and my family as one of the family. My husband and two children are animal lovers as well, so your dog will receive lots of attention and love. We also have a pure bred Labrador retriever who loves all dogs and people.

About: early years, my family were training Morgans for the Kentucky Derby. It had been an exhilarating journey, one that beautifully intertwined skill, patience, and a profound bond with these majestic horses. Each horse is unique, deserving of personalized training that not only harnesses their incredible speed and agility but also fosters a deep connection between horse and trainer. As l've grown, my focus has shifted from merely training to cherishing those heartfelt connections, as they truly enrich my life. Alongside my passion for equine training, I find immense joy in the companionship of dogs and cats, nurturing their spirits It’s all I do - besides writing. I chose to step Away from The chaos of the world to care for my own well being by taking care of animals. With respect, kindness and love as I would expect in my own home and with my own pets. Pets bring joy and peace to my life.

About: I have two small dogs who are my world. I love all types of pets, but can make room in my schedule and heart to take care of your dogs and cats. I will board dogs, but can only stop in and check on your cats. I am currently retired and only work some part-time jobs. I am pretty flexible and will work with families to take care of your precious pets. I have a large farm and home and will crate your dogs as needed. They will love the open space for walks and play. I will keep all pets separated for a more stress-free experience.

About: I have always been around animals, especially dogs my husband and I have two big boys! I would love to help out anyway I can! I am available any time, weekday or weekends! I can work around your schedule if needed and I can come anytime of day! Morning, noon, or night! We have two dogs, a German shepherd and a golden retriever, both are very loving and gentle! About: Happy Hearts Pet Sitting gives dogs a wonderful park-like experience and loving environment. We have over 150 acres of beautiful rolling hills conveniently located between Lynchburg and Charlottesville. During the visit, we will take your dog for relaxing on-leash walks. When they are indoors, they will have access to a large, comfortable farmhouse with loving people to keep them company. We will never let your dog off the leash outside and will always give them the highest level of supervision. I have been watching dogs for conscientious pet owners for over 12 years, and I have had a dog for many years. Since the dogs have the run of the house and we live on a farm with lots of outdoor activity, we require that dogs are treated with flea and tick medicine before arrival. Other Information: The Rover calendar is not always correct, so please contact me with your dates instead of relying on the calendar(: Even if our calendar is marked as booked, we may still have extra spots. About: I have been working at an animal hospital for 12 years as a veterinary technician and am currently in my second year of veterinary school just taking the term off for maternity leave! I am confident and comfortable with any species and level of care your pet(s) may need! I am out on a maternity leave so am currently able to have a very open and flexible schedule for whatever routine you may want or need! Pets in my home would be on a case by case basis seeing as I have 3 kitties and a senior dog! I am open to the idea of boarding some dogs depending on how they are with other pets and house training! At a clients house I will the routine however instructed and make sure they get some actual attention time!

About: I have had a variety of animals my whole life! I absolutely love being around animals and spending time with them. I have taken care of dogs of all ages, all the way from newborn to seniors! I am available on weekdays only. I do work a breakfast shift (5am-11am) Wednesday to Saturday. However, I am available the rest of the day! I will have plenty of time to tend to your animals and take care of their needs. I have a very large unfenced yard that would be great for leashed activities like walking and going potty. I also have a fenced area that’s perfect for some unleashed outdoor time. I would keep any pets inside most of the time to ensure safety while I am with them. I do have a crate that I could keep your pet in while I am at work (if your baby is crate trained). All animals are allowed to roam the house and sleep in the bed if that’s allowed at home!

About: I grew up with dogs! I love them! I know it can be a struggle to find someone to care for them when you need it. Let me help. We have 4 kids, and a lot of fun. My kids are soft on dogs and love a new friend. We will let your precious cargo do what they need: sleep, play, bark, run, or eat. Whatever. They will be taken care of. We have a fenced yard! I don’t allow dogs on my furniture but I have soft pilllow beds. Please bring your dogs own food and leash and whatever else they need! I can give medication if needed. Please indicate if your dog isn’t kid/dog friendly. I can accommodate, I just need to know. Please arrive on time. I make it a point to be ready when you request a service. If you ask to change a time, that is fine. However, if you are 30 min or more late, I will ask to cancel or charge a late fee. This applies to pickup ☺️ If you are more than 30 min late to a an arranged pickup, I will charge a fee. Thank you! I get to stay home with my kids, but that doesn’t mean I don’t work hard to keep the ship sailing. I am busy on weekends so book me before a hiking trail does! I provide a comfortable spot for dogs inside and outside. I feed twice daily (or as needed) and water constantly. I let dogs outside for some sunshine and exercise when it’s not super hot outside. We talk kindly and treat animals with respect.
