“Shannon - can’t thank you enough for caring for Abby this past weekend. So glad we met! Abby was so content when we came home. I’ll send you some more dates :). Highly recommend Shannon to care for your fur babies - great communication and sharing while we we’re away.”

“My little chihuahua warmed up to Regena so quickly. She made him feel comfortable and cared for in his own home. She provided daily updates that I appreciated and put me at ease while I was away. I will definitely be rebooking her in the future and highly recommend her.”

About: I first dog sat for my grandparents when I was twelve and since then I have dog sat for other friends and family members and loved each and every time. I love getting to know your pets and their personalities and being a friend to them while their family is away. I have a special soft spot for senior dogs who need a little extra care after spending several years caring for my family's basset hound before she passed. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to spend playing with your fur fam! While my work schedule changes from week to week, my shifts are never more than five hours which means that I can stop by often for pup potty breaks! I am happy to stop by your home multiple times a day and make sure that your furry friend has food water, has gone potty, and been walked and played with! I am also happy to water plants! If your dogo needs someone there during the night I am open to that as well :)

“Marin was very professional and always communicated through the whole time we were gone and not to mention we feel the service was reasonable. She also sent photos and updated us with their schedules. I would have Marin watch our three dogs again. Thank You again Marin!”

About: I have grown up with dogs, cats, and birds. I treat them with respect all the same. I will always treat with respect to them. It can benefit to my day to day life. I left the bay area where my folks have their dogs and I can't see them right now. So, it would be nice to spend time with dogs again. I have a wonderful home where I have 3 cats that are spoiled rotten. If I had a dog, they'd be spoiled too. The dog will be leashed the entire time I'm with them. Because I believe in safety above all else. Like when I'm going for a walk, if I see a situation, I'll take my dog across the street. No interaction whatsoever. Because I want to avoid confrontation.

“Thank you to Leiada for taking care of Lily our dog, Elaine our cat, and our home. I had a few plants that she watered for me as well. We had spotty service where we were staying so the communication had to be limited. They seemed well loved and cared for. Lily does take bit to warm up and does bark with new people, but she was good with that and Lily seemed to warm up fairly quickly. Elaine seemed very happy and content as well. I really appreciate it. I don’t know how she feels but I would definitely want to have her sit again.”

About: Your pets have my full attention when they’re in my care. I’ve raised and cared for animals my entire life—from dogs and cats to horses and chickens—and I’m comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. In high school, I apprenticed as a vet tech, which gave me hands-on experience with basic medical care, handling anxious pets, and recognizing when something’s wrong. I'm currently raising three dogs, including a working-line German Shepherd trained in service tasks and a high-energy husky/malinois/wolf mix, so I’m no stranger to active, smart pups who need structure and stimulation. I have experience with puppy training, senior care, and building trust with shy or reactive dogs. Whether your pet needs calm companionship, a brisk walk, or mental engagement, I adapt my approach to fit their unique personality. As a professional photographer, my schedule is flexible and allows me to give your pet consistent, attentive care throughout the day. Walks are built into our daily routine—weather permitting—and if it’s too hot or stormy, we switch to indoor enrichment and play. I’m usually home during the day and evening unless I’m out for a shoot, and I’ll only accept bookings that allow me to maintain that level of presence and care. Pets in my home or yours will always feel seen, safe, and included. Safety is a top priority in everything I do. My background as a vet tech apprentice helps me spot issues early and ensure all pets stay healthy and comfortable. At home, our dogs are treated like family—but with boundaries. We maintain structure, encourage good behavior, and never let things slide just because a pet is cute (though we do think they’re all adorable). Our home is pet-friendly with lots of enrichment options, supervised outdoor time, and cozy spots to relax. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I’ll respect your space, routines, and pet’s comfort zones—leaving everything just as I found it (or better).

About: Cozy Home Boarding • No Crates • Lots of Love & Playtime About My Home Boarding Services Dogs stay inside our house, fully integrated into family life—no crates ever used. They receive abundant attention, petting, and snuggles, making their stay warm and comforting. A fully fenced backyard allows for potty breaks anytime. Daily walks are offered 2–3 times per day, each lasting at least 30 minutes. I feed pets strictly according to parents’ instructions, including diet type, timing, and any medications. Pet Care Experience I regularly care for dogs of various breeds and sizes, providing daily walks, exercise, and companionship. I ensure dogs are leashed, safe, and well-behaved during walks and follow owner instructions for routes, routines, and feeding schedules. Communication is important—I provide updates as needed, giving peace of mind while you’re away. Why Your Pet Will Love It Here I do my best to make pets miss their family a little less and feel comfortable in my care. Your pet is treated as part of our household: calm, secure, and loved. I’m home most days, so dogs receive constant supervision and affection throughout their stay. What Clients Appreciate Many clients choose me because of my experience level, my professional communication, and my reliable, loving service. Booking & Meet & Greets I’m happy to arrange a meet & greet, answer any questions you have, or walk you through my home and routines. I look forward to helping make your pet’s stay safe, happy, and stress‑free. Caring for pets is something I truly enjoy. Whether it’s a walk around the block, some playtime, or just giving them love and attention, it naturally fits into my routine. I treat every dog like family and make sure they feel happy, safe, and cared for just like they would at home. 🧰 Meet & Greet First: Home tour and pet meet-up before any booking ensures comfort and builds trust early. 🐕🦺 Pet-Proof, Secure Spaces: All gates, doors, and yards are checked regularly. No access to toxic or hazardous items. ⚠️ Emergency Preparedness: I am certified in American Red Cross Cat & Dog First Aid, I keep a pet-first-aid kit, written vet/emergency contacts. 🔐 Responsible Access & Privacy: Keys are handled securely. Communication stays transparent and prompt. 📬 Clear Communication: I send regular updates, follow owner instructions precisely, and address concerns quickly.

About: In my six years of animal care, I have taken care of many animals, from dogs to birds, and grew up on a large farm... so I have seen a few things. I have just moved to Redding and I don’t have a job so I have plenty of time to take care of your little ones. For my dogs, I feed them in the morning and take them on many walks throughout the day so that they will be tired out to rest at night. I will also check their water each day to make sure it is not empty or dirty.

“Mindy and her husband arrived promptly at our hotel to care for our dog while we attended a memorial service over 4 hrs long. They fed, walked and spent quality time together, and sent several photos to me . I would highly recommend them , especially to anyone traveling and in need of hotel Pet care in their absence, at a reasonable rate.”

About: I grew up on a farm, so animals have always been part of my world—feeding chickens before breakfast, brushing horses after school, and getting covered in dog hair in between! I’ve looked after everything from bouncy puppies to mellow senior dogs, and I’ve always had an easy, natural connection with animals. They seem to sense that I’m one of the good ones. I’m great at picking up on their vibes—whether they’re in the mood to zoom around or just want some chill cuddle time. Whether it’s daily walks, extended stays, or last-minute needs, I’m here to help and happy to adapt to your routine. I prioritize creating a safe, nurturing environment wherever I’m staying. I care for pets in their own familiar space, which helps them feel secure and relaxed. I’m attentive to routines, respectful of your home, and can adapt to any special needs your pet may have—whether that means crating, administering medication, or extra cuddle time.
