About: Hello! I have taken care of pets since I began volunteering at 12 years old at the Niagara Falls Human Society. Almost 30 years later, I am still dog obsessed and run a small family breeding program as well as a School for breeders. I am home full time with my dogs and horses, your pet will get lots of attention, exercise and individualized care when you choose Hope Lane Kennels! I take dogs for walks around our property, we have a beautiful, fenced 10 acre loop that we go for lots of walks on. About: I grew up with dogs. I have been living in a house now with 4 Shih Tzus ranging from 1.5 years old up to 16. I've gone through potty training all the way to eye drops. I am also owned by 5 cats so I am well versed in litter boxes and finicky eaters. I work full time Saturday through Wednesdays from 7am to 3pm. My housemate and partner works Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. There is almost always someone home to take care of the dogs. It is no issue for me to stop by before and after work for potties and so on. I am pretty much a low key person so hanging with the fur kids is about as exciting as I get. When I am sitting in someone's house I like to spend time with the pet. I make sure that when I leave the house I secure the doors, windows, etc. I am respectful of belongings and space. I like to make the fur kids feel like nothing is all that different as much as possible. If I'm just dropping in for walks/potty time I like to spend time with them for their comfort and stimulation. I'll make sure water is refreshed and food is full and boxes are emptied.

I have large and extra-large crates dedicated to clients' dogs. NOTE: I always recommend supplying a blanket, sweater or something with familiar scents to your dog for the sake of their acclimation and comfort during their stay. 1 photo update (around 2pm) of your happy fur baby per day! If more frequent photos are desired, please don't hesitate to ask! Photo update includes a picture and any relevant information about your dog's health and wellness (are they eating/drinking normally, did they get a cut on their foot during play and how did I treat it, etc.). Disclaimers: It is required that your pup/pups be on flea/tick medication at the time of boarding/daycare. In the event of a health emergency, there are animal hospitals close to me, however they have conventional hours of operation. As a result, outside conventional hours, I would be required to take a trip to Chico, CA where there is a 24-hour animal hospital. NOTE: An emergency contact is required. I have a flexible work schedule so rest assured that your pup will get plenty of exercise and will play fun games throughout the day! I also live very close to a fenced tennis court (if your pup is into tennis balls and fetching) and a fenced park with soccer fields. I provide a safe and clean environment with a fenced yard and a friendly and playful dog to keep your pup company. I have an extra crate (size XL) if your pup is crated-trained. I also have lots of room to accommodate your own crate inside my living room. I have a doggie treadmill (Dog Trotter USA Inc), which we use to keep our dog active during very hot weather, and can use for your pup as well if interested! I always follow the owner’s instructions closely. Dogs are never unattended for long periods of time, and I always monitor them to make sure they’re feeling safe and comfortable at all times.

Pit Bull mix) spent Thanksgiving day with Craig, his wife, his German Shepherd ( whose name, unfortunately, I don’t recall), and their two smaller, most delightful senior citizen dogs. We were treated from the “get go” as members of the family. They (both humans & dogs). were all great. Morris was given the run of the house , which included a large lovely fenced yard. When I left everyone was chasing each other around the yard as if they had known each other for years. Morris was there approximately 8 hours, and played himself into exhaustion. I’m an early riser with a balanced indoor/ outdoor schedule- perfect for animal health. Mornings & afternoon exercise play a large part in my active lifestyle here, too! This property also sits across the street from several beautiful trails that I explore frequently, though, our personal wooded acreage is welcomed to furry guests, too. About: Been raised around cats, dogs, and farm atmosphere my whole life, raised my first dog at 8 years old. Have been watching pets for friends, family, and acquaintances for almost a decade. The house and yards are free from any toxic chemicals and have lots of loungy areas and cool shade as well as clean water always. The dogs All receive grass-fed raw beef bones and lambskin to chew on.

About: I have worked as a detection dog handler and gun dog handler for a few years now. I have also trained my own dog to complete multiple tasks for different purposes. I know how to get your pup tired mentally and physically while having fun and have the patience necessary to help them learn new tricks and become familiar with a new place! I have a flexible work schedule so rest assured that your pup will get plenty of exercise and will play fun games throughout the day! I also live very close to a fenced tennis court (if your pup is into tennis balls and fetching) and a fenced park with soccer fields. I also have lots of room to accommodate your own crate inside my living room. I always follow the owner’s instructions closely. Dogs are never unattended for long periods of time, and I always monitor them to make sure they’re feeling safe and comfortable at all times.
