“Our pups are always happy and exhausted after staying with Genae. She responds promptly and sends us photo updates while boarding our dogs. Will happily continue being a loyal client!”

“Ashley and family took excellent care of my little fur baby. From the first couple of minuets I new Cricket would be happy. Ashley sent me pictures during the stay and sent a text to keep me updated. I would highly recommend Ashley.”

“We cannot recommend Jared highly enough. From our very first interaction, his attention to detail and professionalism set him apart. He took the time to ask thoughtful, specific questions about our dog’s routines, preferences, quirks, and health history—everything from feeding schedules and portion sizes to behavioral cues and comfort habits. It was clear he wasn’t just “watching a dog”; they were committed to understanding and caring for our dog. Communication was exceptional throughout. We received consistent updates—photos, positive words about our dog’s behavior and how much he enjoyed watching our dog. Every message reassured us that our dog was not only safe, but genuinely happy and engaged. His knowledge of dog care was evident in both small and significant ways. He demonstrated confidence in handling, situational awareness on walks, and an understanding of canine behavior that gave us complete peace of mind. He was proactive rather than reactive, anticipating needs before they became issues. Our dog can be particular, yet he adapted seamlessly and respected established routines while building trust. What truly stood out was his authenticity. There was nothing transactional about his care—it was thoughtful, warm, and sincere. You can tell when someone genuinely loves animals, and that sincerity showed in every interaction. If you are looking for someone who blends professionalism, knowledge, attentiveness, and heartfelt care, his is extraordinary. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found him and highly recommend Jared to anyone looking for an outstanding pet sitter.”

“Jennifer is really nice and accommodating. She even took care of our pit Jada with short notice. She provided daily updates for Jada including photos of their activities. We found the perfect dogsitter for Jada in the Redding area, and we look forward to her dogsitting Jada in the near future. Thanks again Jennifer!”

“Nancy is amazing! My 9 month old puppy Arlo is a pitbull and pretty energetic he’s a big boy too and she loved on him so much. He stayed two days. Nancy sent me pictures and updated me so I wouldn’t worry. She has a huge fenced back yard my dog was able to play but also come in and nap on her furniture. When I picked him up he was happy as a clam! I would recommend and use Nancy again for sure! I thank her for treating my dog as her own.”
“I feel so blessed to have found Carley! My pup Faith has special needs and I never leave her with anyone but Carley.. it's so wonderful to know that she is being taken care of just like she's at home with me, so I'm not worried and I can have fun. Faith loves her time when she gets to stay with Carley and her friends!”

“Danielle took wonderful care of Bella while my family was away on vacation. A shy, timid dog, it was the first time in Bella's life that she had ever been away from the whole family. Danielle sent regular, daily updates with pictures and an honest commentary of how Bella was doing each day. Day by day, I saw Bella come out of her shell and act more like herself. I would absolutely trust Danielle with dog sitting Bella again. Thank you so much!”

“Our boy Ranger had a wonderful time with Lorrie. We appreciated having a meet and greet ahead of time and felt very safe leaving him with her for a long weekend. He was happy and relaxed when we picked him up! We will definitely be using Lorrie again in the future!”

“This has been my fourth time booking Aimee. Her and her family are amazing to my dog! Im so happy I found them. They are flexible, reliable and very nice to my dog!! I would 100% recommend them! Thanks again”

“Teagan (and her family) were incredible hosts for my Puggle. I was a little nervous of how it would all go since my pup can be pretty anxious around new people. But she seemed to immediately warm up and feel comfortable. I loved that Teagan sent me photos and updates every day that I was gone. I completely trust her and would book again in a heartbeat! Thank you for taking such good care of my baby!”

About: I have had a dog since I was born. I started caring for my dog by the age of five. Then, I did overnights with a diabetic dog, with whom I had to administer medicine. Now, I have two dogs of my own who are very special. I currently work from home, so pet care fits in seamlessly with my routine. I also have a fenced-in yard, so potty breaks can be taken frequently. I am very attentive with care for pets in my home, and I’m my clients home. I always ensure there is fresh food and water. I make sure they have toys or chew toys to keep them occupied. I am always available to take time to play, and go on potty breaks.
About: Hi! I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and have experience caring for multiple pets at once, including different breeds, ages, and personalities. I’m comfortable adapting to each pet’s unique needs and routines. I work remotely, which means your pet will have constant supervision, and attention throughout the day. I treat every pet how I would want mine treated and strive to provide a calm, loving environment while you’re away. I work from home and have for over 5 years. This allowed the time to really watch over your pet and being able to handle anything they need. I have a fenced in small back yard. My apartment also offers locations to walk dogs and allow them to poop and get some extra room.
About: Been raised around cats, dogs, and farm atmosphere my whole life, raised my first dog at 8 years old. Have been watching pets for friends, family, and acquaintances for almost a decade. I can watch any day of the week, Monday - Friday I can’t stay all day. I have no problem with being at the house for majority of the day. I live on a 5 acre land with plenty of space for pets to roam. There is also BLM land right behind the house with a trail by the creek to walk. Along with a spacious home. When house sitting I stay with the pets according to rules and instructions set by the owner.
About: I’ve always been around animals ever since I was little- horses, goats, chickens, cats, dogs- you name it! I love animals and taking care of them. The company of a set of paws is one of the most comforting and rewarding things. I know how much a bond between a pet parent and pet means, and will go above and beyond to make sure an owner is content when away from their fluffy family member. I promise to ensure peace of mind that they are cared for and happy, whether it’s a wagging tail or a purring tummy. I’ve been pet-sitting and walking for my neighbors since I was young, and care for each pet as if it were my very own. I’m currently almost entirely available! Any walks or home check in times needed, I can do them! I’m happy to go for morning and evening strolls with a pup, or check in on a kitty a time a day or more to make sure your fur baby is happy and healthy. I care for clients’ pets by walking their dogs, feeding pets, administering medication such as flea medication, cleaning litter boxes and lawns, and more as required.

About: I’ve owned dogs most all of my life . I’m 44 and currently have a 4 yr old ShihTzu. She is the love of my life . I am patient , attentive, caring, sweet, kind, and loving. Right now I am waiting for a new job to come through. So I have a lot of time on my hands. Im available for all shifts including boarding , overnights or just for a couple of hrs . I can tailor you needs to what you are exactly needing and wanting . I have a fenced area for potty and a 5 acre walking area or playing area . I also have a sweet fur baby that loves to play. Or if yours isn’t friendly with others I can kennel her. If you would like your dog to be kenneled that’s fine too or if you would like them to roam free (my preference) they can do that as well. It’s your fur baby so it’s up to you not me .
“Oh my goodness. Jean could not have been any sweeter and Rusty loved her. I’m so grateful to have gotten such a caring, knowledgeable caregiver for my puppy. We will see her again soon.”

About: I have extensive hands-on experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, horses, and farm animals. I’m comfortable with feeding routines, administering medications, maintaining enclosures, and adapting to each animal’s unique temperament and needs. My approach is calm, patient, and attentive. I prioritize safety, structure, and clear communication. Whether it’s high-energy pets or more sensitive animals, I provide consistent, dependable care and treat every animal as if they were my own. I work from home and structure my days around caring for animals, so your pet won’t be an afterthought, they’ll be part of my routine. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and boarding with flexible scheduling. My mornings and evenings are consistent, and I make sure pets receive attention, exercise, and calm companionship throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m attentive to body language and energy shifts, especially with shy or anxious pets. Whether in my home or yours, I respect routines and create a stable, low-stress space where animals feel secure.
About: I have been an animal lover my whole life, but I have a special place in my heart for dogs. I have been volunteering at a local animal shelter for the past 6 months doing dog walking and socialization, and I have been trained in how to handle dogs with anxiety and aggressive dogs. I am also certified through Red Cross in cat and dog first aid. As an animal shelter volunteer I have gained valuable experience with dogs from all walks of life and new furry friends. I have been pet sitting for over 20 years, and when I moved to Redding for ministry school, pet sitting was part of how I helped support myself through school. I had 4 dogs growing up, the last of which was a family dog we had for 11 years (black standard poodle). I work 2 part time jobs throughout the week, and my schedule is such that I am looking to walk dogs, do house sitting, drop-ins, baths, etc. My condominium and apartment complex is pet friendly, but the apartment I rent out is not. I’m able to walk pets around the neighborhood but I’m not able to do boarding at this time.

For my first time leaving them in her care, I forgot to leave instruction on a medicine for one of my dogs; she carefully read the bottle and communicated with us! She provided good updates & pertinent information about how my dogs were doing. She was punctual, showed up for every requested visit, always locked up the house, and I loved all the pictures she took of my dogs.”

About: I started taking care of cats by the age of ten. I had my own at home, then people I babysat for started to ask for my services with their cats. Years ago, I rescued a runt that was near death. I brought him back from the brink with a mixture of cat formula and soft food. I first fed him the mixture by hand with a syringe. Soon, he was able to eat on his own, and now he is happy and healthy today. I have also spent time as a volunteer socializing cats for different organizations like Haven Humane.
About: I have personally had dogs since I was 12 years old. I love dogs of all kinds. I have cared for friends & family dogs. I currently work full time, my schedule will vary. Please contact me to see if the dates you need are going to be available :) I’m looking for something I enjoy to do in my spare time. I absolutely love dogs, big & small. Currently I could be available some Sundays Mondays Tuesdays and Wednesdays. No overnights available on Wednesdays. I have a smaller house with a doggie door to my back yard. There is a pool in my back yard that has a gate that can be closed. I am crate friendly. My two pups are well socialized with big & small dogs. I also live in a neighborhood in which I can provide dog walks. Currently however I am only doing house sitting and drop ins. If you are in a crunch I may be able to do an over night or day sitting. Contact for further discussion.

“Teagan was great! She was able to pick my baby up (since I work so early) making is easier on me and Yecca. She kept me informed. Yecca had plenty of attention and was able to roam outside. I felt completely comfortable leaving her with Teagan for the day and plan to use her many more times. You can tell she is a genuine person and caring which is the main thing I look for.”

“Needed daycare last minute for my spoiled and somewhat dramatic doodles and they had a blast with Lorrie and her pack. The property is amazing, lots of shade, secure fence and sweet doggie friends to explore with. Bonus - Lorrie’s granddaughter was visiting and spoiled my guys even more. We are in town occasionally and I will happily book again.”
