About: I’ve taken care of dogs for 25 plus years and I currently help out rescues in my spare time. All animals need love patience and guidance from their caregivers. My heart has always been with dogs/animals .Your pet will be so loved and cared for and I have plenty of references you can call. I currently work full time and I’m out by 4 pm. You can call and we can discuss details of what times you will need. I have done long vacations for a client so I’m willing to work with the schedules you need. I have a very big fenced in yard and double lot! I live in millcreek in a nice safe area. My home inside is set up nice where I have door gates to separate if needed. About: I’ve been dog/cat/house sitting since I was about 14! What started out as something I could do for a little extra money quickly turned into something I have a strong passion for and through that I have gained reliable clients and relationships! I have been taking care of many animals through those years and have grown to appreciate each breed as their own individual! Though I’m not specialized in animal care my love, vigilance and passion for helping and taking care of animals makes up for that. I’ve had three cats and a big dog. My latest cat is blind so I’m familiar with some medical care as well! And if you have a reptile (no venomous) no worries! I have experience with them as well as I have my own leapord gecko! I know everyone wants someone loving, reliable and trustworthy to watch over their fur babies and I will not disappoint! On a typical day in the summer I usually have off as I work full time during the school year. Which leaves me free during the day and night for visits or to watch over night. I am free to watch, walk or just play with your fur baby at any time! I typically will do a no charge visit prior to me meeting a new client and animal/s to get a feel for their environment and how your day to day typically runs so I know their routine. I try not to disrupt their normal routine as much as possible! Once we have established the routine I will follow it depending on your specifications! I have experience with all shapes and sizes. I typically bring in mail and packages, water plants and light cleaning if you so desire. It’s all what you’d like! It’s you and your fur babies world I’m just living in it!

About: I love animals just as much as I love my family. I’ve had pets my whole life and have cared for more than I’ve owned. I’ve had a variety of animals. I’ve had cats, dogs, guinea pigs, birds (parakeets, cockatiels and I babysat an African Grey Parrot in my home for a year), snakes, a scorpion, hermit crabs, fish, a rabbit, a turtle and a jumping spider. I also volunteered at a Wildlife Rescue in Austin Tx, where I helped care for birds, opossums (my favorites!), rabbits, raccoons, skunks, etc. I fed baby birds and tube fed baby opossum (I had to insert the tube down their throats to feed them due to the way they suckle in their mother’s pouch). I have experience caring for sick and injured pets, including diabetic cats and other ill animals. I’ve given medicines orally and through injections, such as administering fluids under the skin with an IV and giving insulin shots. I have a disabled cat whose back legs don’t work properly due to an injury she sustained as a kitten, before we adopted her. Several of my pets have lived to be 20, so I also have plenty of experience with sweet, older animals. My dog is a bit of a nervous traveler and is terrified of loud noises and car rides; he has severe anxiety, so he sometimes needs medication to help him feel comfortable. I found out that I’m autistic (formerly called Asperger’s) a few years ago. I always thought I was just different/weird! 😆 I also have OCD and ADHD, which means I really take good care of your pets and will keep everything tidy! I’m also passionate about houseplants and would be happy to care for yours if you'd like! I don’t work a full time job, so I have a very flexible schedule. I’m also a homebody, so I don’t have a busy schedule either. I try to give your pets the calmest and happiest experience while you’re not home. My goal is to help them forget you’re gone, by following the same routine they are used to and giving them all the love, attention and playtime they need. I’m also judgement free and will follow your house rules, religious or otherwise. I will always treat your pets and home with respect.

I have ample experience with all size dogs and an array of special needs dogs, including caring for disabled dogs, giving meds, and managing strict diets and feeding schedules. I’ll be there when promised and will provide updates and/or photos. I am comfortable with all breed sizes and will prioritize your dog's safety and comfort. My chorkie is attached to me so for any overnight or daytime boarding, he will be present unless otherwise stated. He is 6 pounds now and comfortable with cats and small to medium dogs. He is not fixed yet, so please let me know if your girl dog is not spayed. Weekdays: I am not available 8a-4p on weekdays due to my work schedule, but I am available before or after. For boarding, I can accept crate/pen trained dogs and I come home on break midday for walks and treats. I can't wait to meet your fur baby! I work Monday through Friday 8-4, but I'm free all day after and anytime on the weekends. I am also happy to pop in during my work day on lunch breaks. I'm flexible and can accommodate you and your pets' needs! I provide structure, care, love, and frequent walks for my dog and will treat yours the same way. PS - If you are wanting a house sit it is just me and not Thomas since we live in different areas now. Unfortunately we got an update from our housing authority (in Minneapolis) that we aren't supposed to have dogs 50 lb or more in the condo, so we can not accept bigger dogs unless its for a short duration. Thomas is a homebody and just goes into his art studio for a couple of hours in St Paul Mon-Fri. His hours are very flexible usually from 11:30am-3pm and can be less if needed to be home with a pet. My schedule is also flexible as i'm an independent canvasser for PBS and pick up para substitutiting at public and private schools. Well I put my clients needs first. Just like when I nanny or do childcare work or teaching I really try to listen to the "parents" aka pet owners in this scenario and listen to what their desires are. Ultimately I'm working for you so I want your cares and concerns to come first! I am very happy to provide or use your toys and play with your pet and pamper them. Give them just enough food and space to warm up to me. Let me know if your pets have any dietary needs. I have experience taking care of pets with seizures as well and giving their medicine in with their daily meals.
