About: I’m a dedicated and experienced pet sitter with a deep love for animals. Having cared for my own Golden Retriever for 13 years and providing pet sitting services for friends and neighbors, I’ve developed a strong foundation in pet care. My experience is primarily with dogs, but I also adore and have been around cats. My approach to pet care focuses on providing individual attention, maintaining routines, and ensuring safety and well-being. I use positive reinforcement techniques to encourage good behavior and understand the importance of exercise and play for pets. I’m motivated by the joy of building bonds with different pets and seeing their unique personalities shine. Each pet receives personalized care tailored to their needs, ensuring they feel loved and secure while their owners are away. I offer a range of services including dog walking, overnight stays, administering medication, and anything else a client’s pet might need. My goal is to provide the highest level of care and ensure that every pet is happy and well-cared for. Feel free to reach out with any questions or specific requests. I look forward to meeting your furry friends! With a flexible work-from-home job, I have ample time to cater to pet needs throughout the day. I integrate pet care into my routine by scheduling bathroom breaks and feeding times around my work tasks. After work, I dedicate time to walks and playtime, ensuring pets receive the attention and exercise they need. My structured routine includes detailed notes on each pet’s preferences and consistent use of reminders to manage responsibilities effectively. I’m very adaptable and can easily adjust my schedule to accommodate special requests or changes in a pet’s routine, ensuring they receive the care and attention they deserve. Inside the home, I keep the environment pet-proofed by removing any potentially harmful items and maintaining a cozy, comfortable space with plenty of bedding and room for relaxation. I manage potential risks by thoroughly assessing and adjusting the environment to eliminate hazards and monitoring pets closely for any signs of distress. To build trust with pets and their owners, I maintain clear and open communication, following the owner’s specific instructions and providing regular updates and photos. 19. Rachel S.
About: My experience spans all stages of a pet's life. From kittens and puppies to caring for my senior pup when her health declined and she required extra love and support. I can distribute many types of medicine from drops to pills if necessary. I have experience taking care of dogs who are deaf and visually impaired. My mom’s dog Zoe is completely deaf and partially blind. This can make her appear aggressive to some but she trusts me to care for her any time my mom needs a drop in visit or is out of town. I’m currently working part time and with my kids at daycare M-F I have a lot of flexibility to pop in from morning to evening. My weekends can be flexible to accommodate your needs. I have experience crating pups if needed. I make sure to look behind me every time I open and close a door to make sure no fur babies escape.
