“Really appreciate Michele’s last minute availability to walk Graham when I had to be gone all day for a work event. Graham is not used to long work days since the work-from-home era and was not the best behaved for her - leash chewing and jumping!! Acting out :/ Much appreciated Michele’s managing the situation and taking care of him. Thanks so much.”

About: I have been working at a dog day care for 6 years, which is how I got into dog sitting. I also worked in the veterinary field for 3 years. I am currently working full time 7:30/8-4:30/5 so I am not at home during the day. I am usually home by 5:30 at the latest. i have 2 dogs that are super good with other dogs so i usually take them on walks or to the park and let them run around

About: I've been around a variety of different animals my entire life including being an owner of dogs from the time they are puppies to being seniors. I've personally trained all of my animals. We love to go on walks and I love meeting new pets! I'm currently a stay at home mom with a 2 year old boy and a 1 year old pup named Luna. I would be available for walks (dependent on weather) and drop-ins any time except for Thursdays after 3pm. As friendly as my Luna is, I would not be bringing her to your home for drop-ins or walks since it would be overwhelming with my 2 year old. I am more than happy to take care of multiple pets for one home.

About: I have experience caring for dogs, cats, hamsters, and fish, and I treat every pet like part of the family. I'm attentive to each animal’s unique needs and have a calm, gentle approach—whether it’s playing with an energetic pup or giving extra care to a senior pet. I’m also reliable, patient, and happy to follow any special routines or instructions to help your pet feel safe and loved. I teach ESL online, which gives me a flexible schedule and the ability to work from anywhere. That means I can stay at your home and be present throughout the day to care for your pet—whether it’s feeding, playtime, or just keeping them company. I’m able to build my routine around your pet’s needs. I offer in-home pet sitting, which means I can stay at your home to provide consistent care and companionship while you’re away. I follow your pet’s routine as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved in their own familiar environment.

About: Having a dad who was a veterinarian exposed me to many different kinds of animals. I am attuned to the unique personality of each pet and will treat yours with utmost care. Thank you for considering me. I have open availability and am looking for long term clients but am available for a one time visit as well. Early or late in the day works for me as my schedule is completely open. I have a fence yard and also live on a multiple acre property which is perfect for walks in the woods and our fields. Thank you for your consideration!

About: Over 10+ years of experience which includes feeding, grooming, and preserving an accessible residing space for pets. Also, providing health care, and creating a safe and relaxing environment. I’m currently available to work full-time. I will have to come to your house to take care of your pet. I’m available anytime Monday through Friday. I currently cannot have pets at my home. I will come to my client’s home and take care of their pet(s). I will always take protective measures when entering and leaving the home to ensure the safety of the home and the pet.

About: I’ve always had dogs pretty much at every stage of my life. I’ve learned how to care for them and a lot about their behaviour due to this. I’ve taken care of several different types of dogs (seniors, puppies, rescues). Currently there are 3 dogs living in my house, two of which are rescues. I can administer medicine and can provide daily exercise. I’m not really doing a lot right now. I’ll be on summer/winter breaks which leaves my schedule pretty open and flexible. So this leaves me with lot of time to take care of my own pets and potentially others! With my dogs, I feed them once in the morning and once in the afternoon (they’re little dogs). I give them their medications and take them on walks frequently (probably every 2-3 hours). With my clients, I will go off of whatever the pet’s owner says.

About: Friendly house with fenced in courtyard; our dog Finley loves having visitors, sharing his toys, having a playmate and nap buddy. After 30+ years I retired from a local fire department as a firefighter/paramedic; my wife Elizabeth (Betty) is also retired after spending years as a business administrator/RN. We love having our grandchildren and grand dogs visit and know that spending time with our canine visitors is not only fun but important. Our house is in a newer development with quiet, low traffic streets; Finley loves seeing his friends in the neighborhood and meeting new pals. Finley also likes to go for car rides to see new places, maybe some of his new friends can go with him on his travels. We cannot wait to meet new "fur" friends. We are both retired so our schedules include a lot of flexibility to be able to maintain interaction and activities with our visiting furry friends. Our courtyard is fenced in and we will always either be outside with the visitors or watching them carefully. We always make certain any visitor gets along well with Finley.

“Easy to communicate with! Abigail came twice to let Dani out. Since it was raining, I asked her to just play with Dani. This was my first Rover experience and I would definitely do it again! Great job, Abigail!”

About: Hello! My name is Kelsey and I love animals. I grew up with a very reactive Boxer as well as a calm and gentle King Charles Cavalier. I have been to multiple training sessions for the Boxer on how to best care for him and work with his fear of people and other dogs. In my later years of high school I would drive over to my grandparents house to care for their Shi Tzu whenever my grandpa needed help. I currently own a huskimo named Sesi and I live with my roommates two dogs Buckley and Lucy. I can handle anything from a small dog to a large powerful breed! I am currently working one job two times a week. The hours vary from 4-8 hour shifts and I get my schedule a month beforehand. I am still searching for another but with my time off I dedicate almost all of my time to taking care of pets! If your pet needs more attention I have the time to spend with them! With my own dog I follow a strict routine for feeding and potty. I let dogs out every hour and feed them at the same time every day. I keep my eye on them constantly just to make sure nothing is accidentally getting eaten. Any rules you have for your dogs I will follow! I always go to a park (NO DOG PARKS) and take at least an hour walk a day.

About: I won’t lie and say I’ve professionally taken care of dogs for 15 years—but I’ve taken care of dogs ever since elementary school, in my own household and in others’. I know what to look out for to prevent a dog from getting into trouble. I’ve dealt with just about all kinds of messes. And I can handle any size of dog. My main job is part-time contract work, so there are a lot of monetary and time gaps that need filled. That said, my routine allows a lot of room for pet sitting! Every dog is different, so I take that approach with each pet I look after. I follow owner’s instructions, and if I have any questions I am not afraid to ask for clarification—the dog’s/owner’s needs come first. I love giving dogs the attention they deserve (which is usually a lot), and am great at playing.

I trust her explicitly with my animals.”

William H.
“Alex has an extraordinary talent when interacting with animals. Alex has taken exceptional care of my pets. I owned two dogs whom I left in the care of Alex on several occasions. Immediately, Alex established a positive rapport with the dogs. Alex took the dogs on walks in Metroparks, to dog parks, as well as to the dog beach in Stow, OH. Alex is very responsible. He took the dogs to the groomer and to vet appoints. The dogs enjoyed spending time with Alex. Without reservation, I would highly recommend Alex as a pet caregiver.”

Wesley M.
“I hired Wesley to take care of my cat (Pearl) and my Axolotl (Shinji) for about a week when I was on vacation in April 2023. He sent me daily photo updates of both pets, and even a couple videos of Pearl chasing around the laser pointer! When I got home, my house was exactly how I left it, Pearl was happy, and Shinji was thriving in his tank. I’m planning on hiring Wesley again next time I’m out of town.”

Cale did an amazing job with our dog! We were nervous to use someone off of Rover, but Cale did a meet and greet beforehand and we felt very comfortable trusting that he would take good care of our boy. He is very responsible and great at giving updates. We will definitely use him again!
