About: I won’t lie and say I’ve professionally taken care of dogs for 15 years—but I’ve taken care of dogs ever since elementary school, in my own household and in others’. I know what to look out for to prevent a dog from getting into trouble. I’ve dealt with just about all kinds of messes. And I can handle any size of dog. My main job is part-time contract work, so there are a lot of monetary and time gaps that need filled. That said, my routine allows a lot of room for pet sitting! Every dog is different, so I take that approach with each pet I look after. I follow owner’s instructions, and if I have any questions I am not afraid to ask for clarification—the dog’s/owner’s needs come first. I love giving dogs the attention they deserve (which is usually a lot), and am great at playing.
“I recently boarded my dog for 5 nights, and we had a wonderful experience from start to finish with Shayna. She’s caring, attentive, and made us feel completely comfortable leaving Bowser in her hands. We received updates and could tell he was getting plenty of love, attention, and exercise. He was happy, healthy, and well cared for, which gave me peace of mind. I truly appreciate the excellent care she provided and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and compassionate dog sitter. I will definitely use her again when I can afford it.”

“Lindsay was an amazing sitter for my baby Theodore. She was attentive, patient, sweet, and also gives updates on how he was doing the whole time. I got daily pictures of him and it made me really happy. I will book her again and again. Highly recommend.”

“Megan and her family were wonderful!! My pup Zoey seemed to have a great time and is wore out from all the fun! She got to play with Megan's two sons, their dog, neighbor kids, went on walks, and tagged along doing errands for the car ride! Thanks so so much for caring for our girl, Megan!”

“Kate was an amazing sitter! She made the entire process seamless, providing regular updates and adorable pictures of our dog. I highly recommend her and would absolutely book with her again!”

“Aimee did an incredible job taking care of my dog! From the meet-and-greet we knew it would be a great match, but she sent lots of photos and gave my dog so much love I didn’t worry for a second while I was on vacation for a week. I’m looking forward to my next trip so my dog can go back and see Aimee and her family again!”

“Sydeney was a pleasure to meet. She took great care of Murphy while we were on vacation. We received photo updates and could tell that Murphy was happy and in good hands. We will definitely keep Sydney in mind next time we need someone to watch Murphy for us.”

About: In the archaeology world, we joke that humans didn’t domesticate cats — cats domesticated us. Although I won’t fly to Mesopotamia to feed your cat, I will drive a good 30 miles if needed. I’ve been caring for other people’s cats since middle school. I’m great at cleaning litter, feeding, and especially giving them ample play time and attention (if they want it).
“I was very nervous to use the Rover app for the first time but a had a wonderful experience with this. My dog has diabetes and needs a pee break every three hours. An unexpected situation came up and I decided to try this service. He was wonderful and even sent me pictures to insure me that Noah was fine on his visit. Will definitely use again!”
About: I have loved animals all my life and have been asked to watch family and friends pets on countless occasions. I believe in the importance of enrichment activities as well as the good ole belly rubs. Whatever the pet is in need of I am happy to help make their day brighter. I can’t wait to spread the love to more fur babies! I’m currently working full time but always have time for walks and playdates with your pets! Weekdays after 6:30 and weekends work the best but I am flexible! I have a2 year old Beagle Boston terrier who gets a few hours of physical activity and mental enrichment a day before winding down for snuggles and love. We spend time on training and puzzles as well as engaging walks.
“Rebecca was absolutely wonderful with my cat - Cupcake! She was sweet, caring and patient with Cupcake and me her worried (I dont leave Cupcake overnight often) owner. Thank you for taking such good care of her! I already have Rebecca booked for the next time!”

About: I’ve loved dogs my entire life, and now that I’m recently retired, I have the time to give them the attention, care, and companionship they deserve. I treat every dog like part of the family—whether we’re going for a walk, playing fetch, or just relaxing together. With a calm, patient nature and a flexible schedule, I can focus fully on your pet’s needs and routines. You can rest easy knowing they’ll be safe, happy, and loved like one of my own. I am recently retired and am available all of the time. I currently have two small dogs of my own and watching an additional dog would be no trouble at all. If you dog stays with me, they will be treated just like my own pet. I am able to walk them, feed them special diets, or administer oral medication. I am home almost all of the time and can give them the attention they need.

About: I’ve basically been surrounded by dogs my entire life, so at this point being around them feels less like work and more like a lifestyle choice I never really got to vote on. I’ve had dogs all my life, and somewhere along the way I became the person people trust when they need a dog sitter. Whether it’s for a weekend, a vacation, or just a long day away, I’m used to stepping in and making sure dogs are safe, cared for, and probably a little spoiled. I also have hands-on experience working in a kennel, which taught me a lot about dog behavior, routines, and the very impressive range of chaos one animal can create before 8 a.m. Working in that environment helped me get comfortable with dogs of all sizes, breeds, and personalities. I learned how to handle nervous dogs, high-energy dogs, stubborn dogs, and the occasional drama queen who acts like going outside in light rain is a personal attack. It also taught me the importance of staying calm, being observant, and keeping a good routine. Because I’ve always had dogs and regularly dog sit, caring for them comes naturally to me. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, walks, playtime, giving lots of attention, and making sure they feel comfortable while their owners are away. I know that every dog is different. Some want nonstop play and attention, and some just want a cozy spot to nap and someone nearby who understands that they are, in fact, royalty. Overall, dog sitting is something I genuinely enjoy. I love getting to know each dog’s personality, quirks, and little habits. Spending time with dogs never really feels like a chore to me. It’s fun, rewarding, and usually comes with a lot of tail wagging, a little bit of slobber, and at least one moment where I seriously question who is in charge. This is my full time job, so I have plenty of time and attention to give your baby the best care they could possible receive! I have one friendly dog that loves to keep others company. He's been known to snuggle smaller dogs in their beds! I offer tons of park trips and outdoor time while also providing mental enrichment for those lazy pups.
“Pat was amazing with our dog Lucy. Our daycare had to go over until the morning due to getting home super late and she was very accommodating. Lucy had a blast playing with a new friend! We will definitely be back. Thank you!”

“Sarah was incredibly thorough and made sure that my dog felt comfortable in a new space! Thank you so much for your time and giving Lou Lou an incredibly fun experience.”

“Walker had an amazing time at day care while we were at a wedding! We recently adopted him and knew he would be hesitant, but quickly warmed up and had a great time!!”

I am confident in my dog handling abilities, and have experience with puppies, seniors, and handicapped dogs. I am self employed, so I have plenty of flexibility to accommodate some dog care! Weekends are my favorite days to make appointments. And I have reliable transportation! Respect is paramount. I will do my best to both 1) feel comfortable around your pet (which is important!) and 2) respect your home and belongings.

About: I have been routinely dog sitting and watching since before I was 12 years old. From small, to medium, to large dogs, I can handle it all! I have even watched cats, ferrets, and lizards. I believe each animal has unique needs that I am able to deliver at your request. In my own home, I have a dog, cat, and two ferrets! I love taking care of our fuzzy friends🤩 I work part-time from 4-9am which allows the rest of my day to tend to your companion! My summer is built to cater to your pet’s needs😁 I currently take my family dog for routine walks, and sometimes runs, as well as letting him out throughout the day. I also provide loving attention and to our family cat! On the other hand, the two ferrets that I own require special attention due to chronic illness. Their primary veterinary always praises the care that I am able to provide for them!

“I booked Frances last minute and she really helped me out by taking my dog out while I had to be in the office. She stopped by prior to the walks on her own time so that she could meet my dog so he would be comfortable as well. Recommend”

“Easy to communicate with! Abigail came twice to let Dani out. Since it was raining, I asked her to just play with Dani. This was my first Rover experience and I would definitely do it again! Great job, Abigail!”

About: Hi! I’m Erin, an Ohio State graduate with over 10 years of pet sitting experience, specializing in dog/cat care. I offer both drop-in visits and overnight stays, with a big focus on making sure your pet stays in their normal routine. I’m confident handling different sizes, temperaments, and leash behaviors, and always prioritize safety and consistency. What sets me apart is the level of care and attention I bring. I’m very detail-oriented and tuned in to behavior, so I pick up quickly on what makes each dog comfortable. I keep communication clear and consistent with updates so you always know how your pet is doing. I also keep things clean, calm, and organized in your home during visits or overnight stays. I’ve been an animal lover my whole life and have two cats of my own, so I truly understand the trust that goes into leaving your pet with someone. With years of building my long term clientele, I can assure you your pets will be treated like my own everytime! My goal is to make your dog or cat feel secure, cared for, and as close to their normal routine as possible while you’re away. If you’re looking for someone reliable who goes beyond the basics, I’d love to connect and meet your pets:) I have dedicated my days and weekends to providing loving care for animals! I’m fortunate to have a flexible schedule that allows me to make pet sitting a priority in my day to day life. Most of my experience has been pet sitting in the owners home or drop ins! I provide overnight services as well. Since I have 2 cats of my own, I would allow dogs to stay at my home if they have experience being around cats. I am dedicated to making each animal feel as comfortable as possible and making sure they feel loved while you are away.
About: Since I was young, I’ve always had a pet. After college I finally got a pet of my own and they’ve just multiplied over the years! Dogs are my specialty - I’ve taken care of dogs belonging to friends and family & I’ve trained both of my dogs since they were puppies. I’d say what sets me apart from others is that I have plenty of time in the afternoons (and any time during the weekend) to take care of your pup because my job ends early in the day unlike a 9-5 job. I have years of experience under my belt and I just really love animals. Always have and always will! As a teacher, I am always home early on the weekdays so I’ll have plenty of time every afternoon to play with & walk your dog! I am available any time on the weekends and I can board Fri-Sun. My husband and I have a big fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your fur baby company! We are firm believers in lots of walks, lots of playtime, and positive reinforcement. If needed, we can provide a crate as a safe space for your dog to lounge in. Our dogs are our children and we will treat your dog with the same love as we treat our own :)

Another aim is to keep pet owners informed and follow any specific needs/directions requested, including any medication administration to ensure a great visit. I will also take care of your home with the same respect as your pets - cleaning up after your pets & wiping dogs’ paws after a rainy, snowy, muddy walk! You and your pet can count on me to be reliable, consistent, friendly and on time. While caring for your pets in your home I will respect your space, follow your instructions & always make sure that doors, crates and gates are closed. About: I’ve been taking care of animals ever since I can remember. Started with having my own pets as a child and raising orphan wildlife, then moving on to a carrier in veterinary. I’ve been working as licensed veterinary technician since 2009 and going strong. I still work part time at a clinic but spending more time at home now to raise my family. I am very comfortable with medical needs, including injections, and hold a special place in my heart for the elderly pets. I do still work part time at a vet clinic, but half days so your kiddos wouldn’t be going long periods without potty breaks and attention. I have a large fenced in yard that has direct access from the walkout basement where boarding pets stay. Your kiddo will be treated as one of the family, playing out in the yard and a lot of Netflix and chill on the couch. While I do have 2 dogs of my own, they will be kept separated from any boarding pets. We are surrounded by woods and wildlife so rabies vaccine and flea/tick prevention is a requirement to stay in our home.
“Kristen was amazing with our Koko. She was always updating us on her day. She liked being there so much that she did not have her usual excitement upon seeing us. I'm so glad we found her and we will definitely be using her when we need to be away. She also got along really well with Kristen's fur babies.”

“This was my first time using Rover and was a little apprehensive having Stella stay overnight with a stranger. When I met Chris ahead of time, I immediately felt this was a great fit for my mini poodle mix. I would definitely send Stella for vacation at her house while I am on one and allow her to come to my house to walk Stella in the future.”

“Jason was super helpful with our last minute request to have Blu stay with him. He was very understanding of our situation and we really appreciate him helping us out! Will definitely use Jason in the future!”

“Super nice/living family. After initially meeting them, I was very comfortable leaving my Murphy with them. They have two lovely Beagles and children who obviously love the dogs as well & a perfect indoor & outdoor setting for playing and roaming. They sent me photos and a video which made my day. Nathan even slept downstairs on the couch when my pup seemed worried without having anyone around as it was his first night away from home in several months since a horrific extended stay experience with a facility. I will definitely use them again whenever I need to be away from home!”
