About: Dogs are a gift from heaven. I have a gift of love for dogs. My dogs mean the world to me. They are everything. When ever I see someone walking their dog I say hi to the dog! I am patient and caring. I believe dogs need that because just like us they have feelings and triggers. I understand each dog is different and I will most certainly adapt to your dogs needs. And of course give plenty of snoot kisses. I am the type of dog lover to lay on the ground with your dog, have conversations and send plenty of pictures and updates to you 🧡 I work a part time job from 5am to 10am. And the rest of the day is for the dogs and whatever they need! Frequent potty breaks and long walks I have a fenced in yard and a 7 year old boxer Shepard mix who loves to play. My dog and any dog are allowed on furniture unless you suggest otherwise. I love to walk or wven run long distance. My doggo baylee and I love to 8 miles most days.

About: Apart from working as a Veterinary Technician, I have also worked in boarding facilities! I have had dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, cows, chickens... and other random animals throughout my life. To say I love animals is an understatement! I grew up watching pets for family and friends, and now am wanting to branch out! My schedule can be flexible, so we can chat about what you are looking for and I can let you know if I can make it work on my end! I have a fenced in back yard, I do crate my two boys when not home due to Max being destructive when alone, and he dose well in his crate with his brother right next to him!

My goal is to keep your pet’s day as normal and enjoyable as possible while you’re away. During walks, I make sure your dog gets plenty of exercise, fresh air, and positive attention. For drop in visits, I handle feedings, water refills, potty breaks, and of course, plenty of love and playtime! I also send photo updates so you can see how your furry friend is doing throughout the day. I treat every pet I care for with patience, kindness, and the same attention I give my own because they deserve nothing less! 🐾

About: I'm located in Sycamore, IL and am familiar with the surrounding area. I’ve been caring for dogs of all ages and sizes for most of my life, from puppies to senior sweethearts. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or just plenty of cuddles, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I understand that each dog has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel right at home with me. Your dog will be treated like family—with patience, kindness, and lots of belly rubs. On each visit I can spend 30 minutes or a couple of hours, even overnight - whatever your fur baby needs. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to give your pets the love, care, and attention they so richly deserve. I'm happy to spend a quick 30 minutes, a few hours, or overnight - whatever your fur babies need! Some holidays are available, but do fill up quickly. I will provide your pet with the same care and consideration that you do. I'll make sure they not only have their food, water, and bathroom breaks, but plenty of playtime, walks, and love on the schedule you wish them to have. Keeping their routine as close to normal is my goal while your pets are in my care.

About: I have 3 large dogs of my own so I am no newbie to walking big pups! I absolutely love all dogs and am lucky to have the summers off to give them long walks and provide much needed potty breaks! I am off for the summer (June - August) so weekdays at anytime work for me. I also am free to cover while you go on vacations :) I am extra cautious with our fur babies and their safety, happiness, and well-being is of utmost importance When I am in a client’s home or backyard, I am always sure to check the environment so ensure it is safe for pets (i.e. fence is locked, no small pieces around for choking, water available, etc).

About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, lizards (and even hedgehogs for a couple years!) since I was 10 years old. I love all pets and am happy to go out and play or sit and relax, all depending on the pet’s needs. I have administered medication to senior cats, middle-aged to senior dogs, and lizards. I do not mind helping to clean your house if there are any accidents or messes made while I am there! I am looking for a summer job as I have a couple smaller, less frequent opportunities throughout the summer. I am going to do my masters at NIU in the fall, so I will be in the area for a while! I would love to get out and do lots of walks to enjoy the summer weather. I have two cats at home that get played with daily and enjoy relaxing with me at the end of the day. Because my cats will eat anything and everything, I am very aware of what is left out in my house as well as other spaces. I am happy to clean up any messes or accidents made while I am at your home and make sure everything is the same or better than you left it for an overnight stay. I have pet sit for many friends and family and have had no complaints! I will make sure to take pictures of your pet so you know they are happy and safe, it’s what I would want from anyone who takes care of my cats!

About: I’ve grown up in home with all kinds of pets. From dogs and cats to reptiles, amphibians, bunnies, hedgehogs and fish. My family has owned and operated an axolotl business for 7 years. We raise, breed, rescue, and rehabilitate axolotls. It’s been very rewarding. I’m available to work any day of the week from 9:00-5:00 pm. I prefer weekdays to weekends but I am flexible. Temporary or permanent shifts are both fine. I believe in caring for other’s pets as I would my own. I’m very happy to follow whatever works for you. I want your animals to feel safe and secure with me.

“I hired Melanie for 1 hour per day for a week while we were out of town and our son was working during the day. I was attracted to her profile and the fact that she lived nearby. We have a 90 lb doberman, so I needed someone who would be active with her as she needs lots of exercise. Melanie fit the bill! She came over a few times so she and Kai could become comfortable with each other, and we left town with little concern. Melanie gave Kai all the required attention And sent me videos and pics of the walks/runs and play each day. From what I could see and her daily logs, Melanie looked as forward to seeing Kai as Kai was to see her. I would 100% have Melanie back the next time we are out of town.”
