About: I have 3 large dogs of my own so I am no newbie to walking big pups! I absolutely love all dogs and am lucky to have the summers off to give them long walks and provide much needed potty breaks! I am off for the summer (June - August) so weekdays at anytime work for me. I also am free to cover while you go on vacations :) I am extra cautious with our fur babies and their safety, happiness, and well-being is of utmost importance When I am in a client’s home or backyard, I am always sure to check the environment so ensure it is safe for pets (i.e. fence is locked, no small pieces around for choking, water available, etc).

About: I have had family dogs all my life. Currently I have two senior cats and two Belgian Malinois who are part of my family. We’re a very active family and enjoy being outdoors. I’m a stay at home mom which allows me to have a flexible schedule, unless I have appointments for the kiddos. I’m part time military so I won’t be available those weekends but I’ll let you know in advance 🫶 I’m a stay at home mom and a weekend warrior, iykyk. Availability is open unless I’m scheduled for drill and I’ll give an advanced notice or if I have appointments scheduled. I’ll follow your instructions to the T. My dogs have taught me a lot about dog behaviors and what to look out for. Either way I tend to avoid anything that may upset any dog. Cats are much more independent and they usually just need feeding and cleaning.

About: I'm located in Sycamore, IL and am familiar with the surrounding area. I’ve been caring for dogs of all ages and sizes for most of my life, from puppies to senior sweethearts. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or just plenty of cuddles, I make sure every dog feels safe, happy, and loved. I understand that each dog has their own personality and needs, and I take the time to get to know them so they feel right at home with me. Your dog will be treated like family—with patience, kindness, and lots of belly rubs. On each visit I can spend 30 minutes or a couple of hours, even overnight - whatever your fur baby needs. I'm currently working part-time so I have plenty of time to give your pets the love, care, and attention they so richly deserve. I'm happy to spend a quick 30 minutes, a few hours, or overnight - whatever your fur babies need! Some holidays are available, but do fill up quickly. I will provide your pet with the same care and consideration that you do. I'll make sure they not only have their food, water, and bathroom breaks, but plenty of playtime, walks, and love on the schedule you wish them to have. Keeping their routine as close to normal is my goal while your pets are in my care.

About: We are animal lovers, energetic, and will love your pet(s) like our own. We have two fur babies and one fur-less baby: Remi (Sphynx cat), and Memphis and Kota (Australian Cattle Dogs). We both grew up with and around pets, and have past experience looking after them for friends, family, and Rover clients. We have done it all: Dog-walking, drop-ins, house-sitting, and doggy daycare. We would love to meet you and your pet at a public dog park before dog or cat sitting so we can get to know you better. We could be the perfect fit if your pup needs let out or a midday walk while you’re at work or away for the day/weekend. Please let us know if you have any questions or special requests. Both of us work from home, so we are very flexible and will do our best to be able to work with your schedule and needs. Our pets love to have company and play dates. About: When I had roommates, they have a cat who has wobbly cat syndrome (Cerebellar Hypoplasia) which makes him walk a little funny! He can’t go more than two to three steps without falling over, and eating is quite a challenge. Having cared for him has made me really patient and understanding of animals. I recently just left a data entry job, so I have all the time in the world to care for your pets! I love animals more than people so they are going to fit perfectly into my daily routine. I would spend time with your pet as much as you’d like! I love spending time with animals whether that’s playing with them, giving them pets, going on walks or just being next to them giving them company!

“Taylor was absolutely fantastic! I am very nervous leaving my big German shepherd with anyone (I’m a bit of a helicopter parent) but Taylor got on with him very well! She dropped in on him during a very long day at work for me, gave him a bit of attention and a potty break, and all went smoothly! She communicated quickly when she was with him and even brought in my heavy chewy box of dog food that was delivered! I can’t say how happy I am to have someone that seems to like my big boy and will be able to take care of him when I need. Taylor is awesome!!”

About: Hello! I’ve recently decided to join Rover to help around the Chicago area. To me, animals/pets are a gift. Since I was born we always had a family dog. I had a Yorkie named Willy I got in first grade, I was very shy and he was my best friend growing up, I was never alone with him by my side. I volunteered at a couple animal shelters a few times a month when I was younger and always got recognized for how the animals would take to me. I’m a very easy going, energetic and understanding person, just being around animals brings me joy. I would love to help you keep your dog or cat active, happy and satisfied everyday :) I'm currently working part-time (3 days a week, 25 hours) so I have plenty of time to play with your pets! I'm available for boarding on weekends and weekdays after 2 pm currently. ***I started Rover in Arizona in 2019 and have been moving and figuring a lot out since then so my responses haven't been the best previously but I'm finally settled down and fully committing to this as a side job for me and promise to respond promptly :)*** I have a small fenced back yard. I live in Bucktown so I'm pretty lucky to even have that. My pup loves it back there!

About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, lizards (and even hedgehogs for a couple years!) since I was 10 years old. I love all pets and am happy to go out and play or sit and relax, all depending on the pet’s needs. I have administered medication to senior cats, middle-aged to senior dogs, and lizards. I do not mind helping to clean your house if there are any accidents or messes made while I am there! I am looking for a summer job as I have a couple smaller, less frequent opportunities throughout the summer. I am going to do my masters at NIU in the fall, so I will be in the area for a while! I would love to get out and do lots of walks to enjoy the summer weather. I have two cats at home that get played with daily and enjoy relaxing with me at the end of the day. Because my cats will eat anything and everything, I am very aware of what is left out in my house as well as other spaces. I am happy to clean up any messes or accidents made while I am at your home and make sure everything is the same or better than you left it for an overnight stay. I have pet sit for many friends and family and have had no complaints! I will make sure to take pictures of your pet so you know they are happy and safe, it’s what I would want from anyone who takes care of my cats!
