“Katie is AMAZING!! From the moment I dropped my puppy off until I picked him up. She updated me sent me pictures and was very responsive. I booked her with short notice and also longer visit. I had to add a day and she accommodated it. I will definitely be using her services again in the future. If I could give 10 stars I would she is great.”

“My puppies had a wonderful time during their stay with Gina as was evidenced by the pictures and videos she sent 😊. They were well taken care of AND loved which means the world to me.”

“Oliver is an anxiously attached dog, Deanna did a great job at ensuring his safety and providing stimulation whenever possible to take his mind off us being gone. He came back perfectly himself and no worse for wear. We already appreciate the time and effort that was put into his care:)”

“This was our second booking with Keksey. She's super easy going and great with our fur baby. Her dog, Mozilla, also seems to enjoy Lilys company. We got some pics of the dogs playing together and some chill time pics too. Im an anxious dog dad because I worry about my dog when im not around but Kelsey has taken great care of her on both occasions. I highly recommend her anyone who needs care for their baby. Just dont take any of the dates I need. 🤣”

“Kelsey did a wonderful job watching our dog Zippy while we were away! She kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us great peace of mind. Zippy looked happy, well cared for, and clearly got lots of attention. 🐾 We really appreciated how reliable and kind Kelsey was throughout the stay. It’s clear she genuinely loves animals and treats them like her own. We’d absolutely trust her with Zippy again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a great sitter on Rover! 😊”
“Patti and Paul were absolutely amazing with Stanley!! They took care of and treated him like their own, we will definitely be bringing Stanley back to them, he already misses them!”

“They helped me out TONS by watching my Shih Tzu for about 6 days. I’ve never used Rover before, so I was a little hesitant at first. Everything went smooth and they were flexible on drop off & pickup times since we drove all day. My dog seemed extremely comfortable @ pickup and we got several pics throughout the week! I would definitely book with them again.”

“Brandon was wonderful with our Jack Russell Terrier! Brandon's home is set up to care for and play with dogs. Our pup got to socialize and play with other dogs and Brandon's cats. And when we picked our pup up he was Exhausted! Which if you know Jack Russell's it's hard to do! Brandon made sure our dog was happy and cared for, got walkies and cuddles! His care put my mind at ease that my sweet pup was being cared for so I could.do what I needed to without worry.”

“Bodhi stayed with Angela for three nights. Since we hadn't left him with a sitter since before Covid, we were quite nervous. But from the time we did a "meet and greet" with her, we immediately felt at ease. His stay with her was wonderful! We received lots of photos and videos and we could tell that he was relaxed and not stressed. She provided plenty of love, attention, and enrichment times. Thank you, Angela, for taking such good care of our Bodhi. He will definitely be back!”

“Always at ease going on vacation when Meagan is watching Griffin. He is in good hands & loves to play with her dog and the boys. Thanks again, Meagan! See you again next time!🥰”

“Haley was an amazing host! Very communicative and kept us informed through the entire visit. Our Copper really seemed to enjoy his weekend stay! We will definitely use Haley’s services again! 5 ⭐️”

“Maria was absolutely amazing! It is evident that she has a great love for animals. She took excellent care of my fur babies while they were with her, including taking them for walks and making sure they got the proper exercise needed. She kept me updated with messages and pictures. This will be my go to Dog Sitter. ❤️”

“Maureen was welcoming, friendly, and very accommodating to my little dachsund's idiosyncrasies! She sent me updates to ease my mind and ensure a worry-free vacation. I would not hesitate to have her take care of my girls in the future. I highly recommend Maureen!”

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
