About: I have LOVED dogs since childhood but I am an animal person in general! I have been a registered nurse since 2014 and started travel nursing in 2021. My nursing experience includes ICU (neurology), trauma, and gastroenterology. I am a Certified Gastroenterology Registered Nurse (CGRN) and prior personal trainer. My work has taken me from Oregon to Massachusetts, living in many different types of homes/situations/environments. With each assignment I am required to be drug screened and background checked. I have lived with big and small doggos and I am always sad to leave because of the bonds I form with the animals and their families. I have lived with chihuahuas that were quite timid but after time and love, we grew to be friends! My landlord was even comfortable with vacationing to Italy for 2 weeks while I stayed and helped look after the boys (and kitty Archie!). The last home, I lived with 2 Shepard mixes. One of the pups was nervous/unsure due to some trauma in his past. Overtime, with love, patience and plenty of treats Bambi became my friend and I was able to take both dogs on walks in the neighborhood. Many of the pictures in my profile are of the dogs I have had the pleasure to live with while I am traveling. I just finished a travel nursing assignment in MA and I am taking a break from nursing so I have plenty of spare time to dedicate to caring for others' furry kids. I am working on starting my own business so flexibility is key for me at this stage of my life! I have an older lab at home (don't be fooled, he still acts like a pup, full of energy!) and 2 cats. Our lab is trained and stays in our yard and 1 of our cats is free to roam (and hunt outside) while the other kitty stays inside. Both were strays that became our family! For your home, a proper meet and greet is ideal. A facetime works too to understand the inner workings of your unique home and any quirks to be aware of to keep the animals safe. However, I'd prefer your dog to get to know me in person, get all their sniffs in and be comfortable around me. Understanding their needs, likes/dislikes and favorite toys/pets/walking trails is much better in person!

About: i have been surrounded by dogs in my home my entire life. I love walks and dogs. there is nothing better than having a little friend to join you around town i have school at the HWS colleges Monday through Thursday, i have a 3 day weekend and also Thursday afternoons free and would love to fill that time out and about. my dogs at my home are let out into our yard, however they do get walks every day in the woods or by the water.

Though he doesn't have a complex routine to follow, he's a quirky guy that likes to be VERY close to his person, is forgetful, and sometimes barky due to his age. Heather "got" Pippin right away. We felt she genuinely understood his habits and his singular approach to life. Heather sent just the right amount of updates and photos. Pippin was in good hands with Heather. About: If you’re looking for someone that can not only simply pet sit but create a healthy relationships with your pets im your guy! Im very enthusiastic and friendly so animals feel safe with me. I understand the love pets need to feel embraced and free. Example : when I visit my grandmother house her doggy always begins barking asking for love so what do i do ? About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life, from big to small. Friends and family have frequently called on me to watch and love their pets while they are out of town- and I don’t know who enjoys it more- the fur folks or me! I also volunteer with a farm animal sanctuary and have a lot of farming experience with a larger diversity of animals. I do work full time, but I have fairly flexible hours and work remotely at times. My primary times of availability would be in the mornings before 10 am and after 5pm until bedtime. I will assess the pet’s or pets’ needs and figure out a schedule that will work best for them to ensure seem-less care and stress reduction while their owners are away. I give love very freely and love a good snuggle! I want to make your fur kids feel as happy as possible while you’re away.

“Cody went above and beyond staying with our dog and cat for a week while we were away. He took exceptional care of them and the house. He sent pictures and updates often which eased my mind as this was the first time we left our pets and house with anyone! Cody came over for play dates with our dog for a few weeks prior to his stay in order to help her to be comfortable with him when it came time for the stay. He was so good with her. And she was always so excited to see him when he came to play! I couldn’t recommend Cody more! If you’re apprehensive about leaving your pets or just need someone to be a friend for your fur babies, Cody is absolutely the one for the job!”
