About: I have had a dog since I was 5 and as I got older my responsibilities for pet care increased. I love all dogs as my own and have experience watching other dogs overnight. I am currently working part time in the afternoon. Roughly 3-4 hours a day. Before work I will ensure your dog’s needs are meet with bathroom breaks, breakfast and exercise. After work I am fully their for your furry friend is that means more exercise or companionship. During work your pet is free to roam my house if they are trained or I have a crate they can use. I have a fenced yard and 3 furry friends to keep your fur baby company. We have the ability to crate if desired. I will send daily updates and will exercise at least once a day.

I stay at home and available for the dogs all day and night. They will get frequent walks, runs, interaction, potty breaks and lots of attention. I can pick up and drop off your dogs. I have a 5 acres fenced land for your pups to run and play with me or my dog. I have a big shop with rubber flooring to play and train. I have reliable vehicles to take your dogs if you wish to parks and fields and trails.

I know the area well and my neighborhood is very dog friendly and safe for walking. I have experience taking care of animals with anxiety and that are recovering from surgery. Currently on a job search so I’m not sure of my daily schedule in the future, but I won’t be working more than 8 hours at a time and most likely only 30 hours a week. For house sitting and boarding, I will at home as much as possible, with the exception of running necessary errands. I’ll do my best to keep your pet happy and comfortable, and stick to your pets routines i.e. walks, play time, feeding time etc. (I sometimes board more than one dog at a time but only with your express permission of both owners)

About: I have 7 years of pet care experience! I have taken care of animals as small as mice to as large as horses and everything in between! I have experience in kennels, grooming, training, and as a veterinary assistant! I also have my dog and cat first aid and cpr certification! I’m currently a student so my hours are very flexible! About: I adore all breeds and sizes. I've cared for a dog most every year of my life, whether I was a student, working, vacationing, or just existing. Those years have trained me to read them well as far as knowing what they are communicating at any given time. I find it difficult to be without a furry friend. However, I'm retired and thinking of traveling in the future, so thought this Rover program would give me my "dog fix" until I'm ready to start my traveling. I've had babies, adults, and teens when it comes to dogs, and many varieties; Border Collies, German Shepherds, Irish Setters, Poodles, Golden Retrievers, Old English Sheepdogs, Terriers, and have trained and loved them all! I'm retired but do go to a recreational center daily to work out and swim, so I'm available for dog sitting, playing, and walking M-F after 1PM. And weekends after noon. I have a fenced yard partly in sun and partly in shade. I also have a dog door from inside the house out to the yard, so your dog can go outside anytime the urge hits. I'm also within 1 mile of 3 parks and the Finch Arboretum.

“Sarah is THE BEST dog sitter! Kind, considerate, detail oriented, great communicator. She took care of my pup Piper during the day for a few days while I was in town to watch a volleyball tournament, and I couldn't be happier with how it worked out. I really appreciated the status update text messages that Sarah sent from time to time, and it was abundantly clear from the pics she shared that Piper was totally comfortable and really enjoying her time there. Also -- a big shout out to Sarah's pup, Sully, for sharing his home and his mom with Piper for a few days! He was a great host and he & Piper got along very well. I would hire Sarah again in a heartbeat if/when we visit Spokane again!”
