About: I have over twenty years experience caring for not only dogs: but also speciality animals such as horses and reptiles. I have a vet assisting degree, and security experience. I am familiar with licensing and bonding, animal behavior and various medications - including but not limited to insulin injections, and I am licensed with the state of IL to practice security. Not only am I reliable, but I am an experieneced and safe option while you’re away. I live on a five acre farm with horses, cats, dogs, and other various animals. I believe animals are family. I have a section of the house for cats, and one for dogs. The cats have access to the dog room, but can easily be cut off from entrance. My home, and habits, are very safe and organized. I work and network with my husband and family. There is always someone available! All animals are considered family to us! Please take special note that when booking for you animal companions to stay at our home, we are not a boarding center, we are a personal home setting. In order to ensure the best success with this arrangement, a visit to your home where your dog is comfortable and not stressed is required before visiting our place of residence. This gives us important insight on your animals natural behaviors to ensure the best action/sitting experience not only for us - but especially for your animals. I have plenty of time for your pups and their specific needs/routines. We cater to every animal as if they were our own, and understand each one is special and different. We have a double fenced yard, with lots of open space indoors and out. Extra crates and or farm house furniture for your pets needs.

“Michelle is the absolute best! My husband and I have rebooked her several times now, and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with our cats. Our cats are very particular, and Michelle is fantastic with them. She is clearly amazing with animals and knows how to make them comfortable, but she's also excellent at making sure that everything is done correctly for them. We've used her services during both short trips and also really long vacations and I always feel so reassured knowing our cats are in such excellent hands.”

“Adam has been great with our pup and communication has been top-notch.”

“Thank you for providing an affordable option for multi-cat households.”

About: 🐶 About Me Hi there! I’m Jessica—a lifelong dog lover and experienced pet parent. After 16½ wonderful years with my own pup, I’m not quite ready for a new dog of my own… but I deeply miss the joy, snuggles, and companionship. That’s why I’m here—to give your dog a safe, loving, and fun environment while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so your pup will have round-the-clock attention and care. Whether they love to play, nap in a sunny spot, or follow someone from room to room, I’ll be there for them every step (and paw print) of the day. 🐾 Pet Care Experience I had the joy of caring for my own dog for over 16½ years—from energetic puppyhood through her golden senior years. That experience gave me a deep understanding of how to adapt care based on age, energy level, and personality. Whether it’s giving meds, managing special diets, or making sure senior pups get up and down stairs safely, I’ve been there. What sets me apart is my ability to create a calm, loving environment that feels like home. I work from home full-time, so your dog won’t be left alone—and they’ll get personalized attention, playtime, and snuggles throughout the day. I’m especially tuned in to dogs who need a little extra TLC—whether they’re shy, older, or adjusting to time away from home. I’m happy to stick to specific routines, administer medications, and support training habits you already have in place. This isn’t just a side gig for me—it’s a heartfelt way to stay connected to the dog energy I love so much, and to give pet parents peace of mind while they’re away. 🐾 Why I’m a Great Sitter 16+ years of hands-on dog ownership Full-time work-from-home setup = 24/7 companionship Calm, nurturing energy and personalized care Flexible schedule and great communication Comfortable with all sizes, breeds, and personalities 🏡 My Home & Yard Your pup will love my fully fenced backyard—it’s a secure space perfect for zoomies, sniffing adventures, and lounging in the fresh air. It’s also chock full of toys and “buried treasure” from my own beloved pup—a backyard with history, love, and tail-wagging energy. Inside, they’ll find a calm, cozy space with plenty of room to relax, play, and feel at home. Whether they’re crate-trained, couch cuddlers, or both—I’ll follow their routine to the letter. 📸 What to Expect I provide consistent updates, adorable photos, and check-ins so you’re never left wondering how your fur baby is doing. I know firsthand how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone—and I take that responsibility seriously. Your pup will be treated like family, because in my house… they are. I work from home full-time, which means I’m here all day to keep your pup company! My schedule is flexible, so I can easily accommodate potty breaks, playtime, walks, and feedings according to your dog’s usual routine. Mornings start with outside time in my fully fenced yard, followed by a mix of work (for me) and supervised lounging, cuddles, and playtime (for your pup). Midday walks and backyard breaks are part of our rhythm, and evenings are all about winding down together with lots of love and attention. Whether it’s a weekday or weekend, your dog will have round-the-clock care and companionship. I never overbook, so your pet gets the dedicated attention they deserve. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. In my home, I provide a clean, calm, and welcoming environment with lots of soft places to rest, space to play, and loving company throughout the day. I have a fully fenced yard for secure outdoor time—perfect for sniffing, exploring, and soaking up the sun. I always supervise outdoor play, and dogs are never left unattended in the yard. Inside, I create a low-stress atmosphere with minimal noise and no other pets or small children, so your dog can settle in and relax. I follow your instructions closely—whether it’s feeding schedules, crate routines, or medication needs. I’m happy to provide frequent updates with photos and notes, so you always know how your pup is doing. This isn’t just pet sitting—it’s building trust and creating a safe, loving space that feels like home while you’re away.

About: Trained Veterinary Assistant with a decade of experience in the animal care field. I've been taking care of family's furry friends since I was a young girl, which is where I found my passion for animals. I am confident that I can provide the best care to your pet no matter the size, temperament or medical need. Please read my availability before booking weekdays. Thanks! I work a full time job at a veterinary clinic, and a part time student studying to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have started opening up my schedule to weekdays in addition to my normal weekend availability. When requesting weekdays, please keep in mind that I will be working 8 hour days, but will be able to stay the night with your pet. This may limit which pets I can care for unfortunately. I might be able to offer drop ins on my lunch break depending on proximity to my work. I expect to be provided with a safe environment for pets when staying in their home, including appropriate harnesses, collars and leashes for dogs and secure doors leading to the outdoors or other potential dangerous areas.

About: I’ve always been an animal lover and take pride in providing safe, reliable, and personalized care for every pet. I’m comfortable with all breeds and energy levels! From playful puppies to gentle seniors. I’m experienced in giving medications, whether it’s pills, injections, or topical treatments. I make sure each dog feels comfortable, loved, and cared for like they’re my own. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, or just snuggling on the couch, I’ll make sure their routine stays consistent while you’re away. You can count on me to treat your pets and your home with respect and care! I have flexible schedule and can easily adjust my day around your pets needs. Whether it’s early morning walks, mid day check ins, or evening routines. Pet care is something I truly enjoy and I make it a priority in my daily routine I provide care only in my clients homes to give pets comfort in their own space. I do not bring my personal dogs with me, and I keep my focus fully on the pets I’m caring for. I respect your home and follow any routines or instructions you provide.

“Akaila did a great job doing drop in’s for my cat. Even with the behavioral problems that my cat had she was patient and understanding. I highly suggest if you are looking for a pet sitter!”

About: I have extensive experience taking care of cats, dogs, and chickens, but am open and excited to take care of all pets. I am new to Rover, but have completed over 40 sits through TrustedHousesitters watching many dogs, cats, and kittens, ranging from weekend sits to entire months and have been pet sitting full time for 1 and a half years. I have watched dogs and cats of all ages and have experience administering medication (including insulin, pills, liquid). I also have experience with a variety of farm animals as I watched an entire farm by myself including goats, sheep, turkeys, rabbits, cats and dogs. In addition to my recent experience through TrustedHousesitters, I have had many house/pet sitting gigs throughout the years. I periodically watched my housemates cat in college. I grew up dog sitting my family friend's dog and cat sitting for a couple of different families. I also nannied for 4 years, and have experience looking after houses, cleaning, and keeping my clients homes in great condition. I am originally from California, but my home base is Portland, OR. My favorite activities include running, hiking, and anything outdoorsy. I am a marathon runner and I have completed 6 marathons so far and have run numerous half marathons. I also really like exploring, traveling and trying new food and coffee places. I love to house/pet sit because it gives me the opportunity to be around cute pets and make some extra income as I recently moved back to Portland after taking a gap year. I have 3.5 years of experience working remotely in the medical communications field and I am a UC Davis alumni. While caring for your pet and home, I will be available on my cell and will text picture updates, so you can feel at ease while you are away and will be sure to give your pet plenty of cuddles and love.

About: I’ve taken care of my dogs and neighbors dogs ever since I was little! I love to stay active with them and just hang out with them! I’m currently working part time from Monday to Thursday so my weekends are very open! During the weekdays after 5pm is when I become available! I have a fenced yard though it is kind of small, but accompanying it is my 12 year old hound dog and two young cats!

About: I grew up with dogs in the house and I’ve taken care of my own dogs since 2009. I have helped my neighbors with their dogs when they’ve gone on vacations, helped some of them when it’s time to transition to the next life, walked them, played with them, gave them their medicine. I’ve done everything for my pups and my neighbor’s pups. I also have years of experience staying at a friend’s apartment to watch her two cats when she is deployed for a week or two at a time. I currently have two dogs that are spayed and fully vaccinated that are huge fans of going on walks and rolling in the grass. Both of them also enjoy lounging on the couch or basking in the sunshine without a care in the world. I’m currently a full-time student online, so I have plenty of time to focus on long walks, treats, enrichment, and play time with your pup. I don’t take safety lightly. It’s my job to protect your pets while giving them all the love and attention they need. I always ensure harnesses are on and secure, clipped to the leash, and ready to go before a door ever gets opened for them to go out of. I use treats on all walks to encourage good behavior. We love going for hikes and smelling all the smells. One of my pets has seizures and requires medicine twice daily. She is very well loved and cared for. A spoiled little Chi, but she also knows how to listen. My Golden is stubborn but very adventurous. Both are full of joy when we get ready for our walkies. I stay away from major roads and traffic as well. We all prefer more natural walks than traffic walks.

I make sure to choose pet friendly walking routes, remaining attentive, and aware of my surrounding. “Jessica is outstanding with pets. She is very caring and makes sure that her fur-friends are not just a "pet" but a member of the family. I have even seen her bring her fur-friend to board retreats and meetings. She understands how to listen to their needs, watches with passion/care to make sure that they are comfortable. I would personally have her watch any of my pets as I know they would be spoiled and loved without question.”

“Cady was a great match for my dog, he loved her! She is trustworthy and communicative. Would recommend her services to anyone looking for a sitter for your pets.”

Jose C.
““Joey” is amazing! I don’t trust many people with my fur baby, especially considering that he’s got several medical issues, including diabetes and requires insulin. You can tell that he loves and cares dearly for animals. He’s also very punctual, & trustworthy! My dog doesn’t get close to many individuals, so I was very happy to have found Joey, because Bingo immediately felt comfortable with him. I highly recommend him. Thank you!”

Catherine N.
“Catherine watched my cat, Rufus, on many weekends from 2018-2019. He is a skittish cat, especially around strangers, but he warmed up to her quickly. She fed him promptly and kept his water dish full and litter box clean. After Rufus had to have an emergency surgery, she aided me in watching after him while I was at work. I had been worried about him moving around too much and ripping his stitches out when I wasn't there to stop him. But my fears were calmed with her watching after him diligently and updating me when necessary or asking clarifying questions. Overall, Catherine is someone I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a hardworking and thorough pet caregiver.”

“I travel for work and often. I’ve paid Stacy to cat sit my two cats at least a dozen times. She has always gone above and beyond my needs, including an over night stay when my cat was sick. I’ve never met anyone who cares just as much as I do about my fur baby’s. You’d be lucky to have her, honestly.”
