About: I have over twenty years experience caring for not only dogs: but also speciality animals such as horses and reptiles. I have a vet assisting degree, and security experience. I am familiar with licensing and bonding, animal behavior and various medications - including but not limited to insulin injections, and I am licensed with the state of IL to practice security. Not only am I reliable, but I am an experieneced and safe option while you’re away. I live on a five acre farm with horses, cats, dogs, and other various animals. I believe animals are family. I have a section of the house for cats, and one for dogs. The cats have access to the dog room, but can easily be cut off from entrance. My home, and habits, are very safe and organized. I work and network with my husband and family. There is always someone available! All animals are considered family to us! Please take special note that when booking for you animal companions to stay at our home, we are not a boarding center, we are a personal home setting. In order to ensure the best success with this arrangement, a visit to your home where your dog is comfortable and not stressed is required before visiting our place of residence. This gives us important insight on your animals natural behaviors to ensure the best action/sitting experience not only for us - but especially for your animals. I have plenty of time for your pups and their specific needs/routines. We cater to every animal as if they were our own, and understand each one is special and different. We have a double fenced yard, with lots of open space indoors and out. Extra crates and or farm house furniture for your pets needs.

I work a full time job at a veterinary clinic, and a part time student studying to become a Certified Veterinary Technician. I have started opening up my schedule to weekdays in addition to my normal weekend availability. When requesting weekdays, please keep in mind that I will be working 8 hour days, but will be able to stay the night with your pet. This may limit which pets I can care for unfortunately. I might be able to offer drop ins on my lunch break depending on proximity to my work. I expect to be provided with a safe environment for pets when staying in their home, including appropriate harnesses, collars and leashes for dogs and secure doors leading to the outdoors or other potential dangerous areas.

I am new to Rover, but have completed over 40 sits through TrustedHousesitters watching many dogs, cats, and kittens, ranging from weekend sits to entire months and have been pet sitting full time for 1 and a half years. I have watched dogs and cats of all ages and have experience administering medication (including insulin, pills, liquid). I also have experience with a variety of farm animals as I watched an entire farm by myself including goats, sheep, turkeys, rabbits, cats and dogs. About: I’ve taken care of my dogs and neighbors dogs ever since I was little! I love to stay active with them and just hang out with them! I’m currently working part time from Monday to Thursday so my weekends are very open! During the weekdays after 5pm is when I become available! I have a fenced yard though it is kind of small, but accompanying it is my 12 year old hound dog and two young cats!

About: I grew up with dogs in the house and I’ve taken care of my own dogs since 2009. I have helped my neighbors with their dogs when they’ve gone on vacations, helped some of them when it’s time to transition to the next life, walked them, played with them, gave them their medicine. I’ve done everything for my pups and my neighbor’s pups. I also have years of experience staying at a friend’s apartment to watch her two cats when she is deployed for a week or two at a time. I currently have two dogs that are spayed and fully vaccinated that are huge fans of going on walks and rolling in the grass. Both of them also enjoy lounging on the couch or basking in the sunshine without a care in the world. I’m currently a full-time student online, so I have plenty of time to focus on long walks, treats, enrichment, and play time with your pup. I don’t take safety lightly. It’s my job to protect your pets while giving them all the love and attention they need. I always ensure harnesses are on and secure, clipped to the leash, and ready to go before a door ever gets opened for them to go out of. I use treats on all walks to encourage good behavior. We love going for hikes and smelling all the smells. One of my pets has seizures and requires medicine twice daily. She is very well loved and cared for. A spoiled little Chi, but she also knows how to listen. My Golden is stubborn but very adventurous. Both are full of joy when we get ready for our walkies. I stay away from major roads and traffic as well. We all prefer more natural walks than traffic walks.
