“Lorelei is such a great host! I have boarded my puppy with her about 5 or 7 times over the course of December 2015 and January 2016 and I can only say great things about her. Her apt is very welcoming to dogs as she always has fellow playmates around and has a patio area where they can eliminate. One time, my puppy jumped off the furniture wrong and had hurt himself. She called me immediately and also did the courtesy of contacting DogVacay’s own vet for advice. My experience of Lorelei is that she is very attentive to the dogs and cares for them as if they are her own. As a bonus, Lorelei also wrote me thank you cards! I have booked with someone else when she wasn’t available and now I have learned that if you’re going to book on DogVacay, choose Lorelei!”

Louann's home is just minutes to the ferry dock so we wouldn't have to rush back home after a long drive late into the evening to pick our pup up in our hometown. Her yard is nicely fenced, tidy, with plenty of exploring to do for our curious and mischievous pup. We got him back he was like it was no big deal seeing us - didn't seem to miss us - so that is a big win!”

About: Hi, my name is Amber-rae, I am 22 years old and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember — I’ve cared for everything from barnyard animals to beloved family pets since I was 9 years old. Dogs have always been by my side, and I welcomed my very own pup into my life at just 10 years old. With a lifetime of experience, I know how to keep tails wagging, paws moving, and pets happy, safe, and loved. We’ve got two beautiful boy cats at home who are our only pets at the moment. But i often care for my mothers dogs, she has 6 of them, four little Havaneese and two giant mastiffs At home our cats have free roam or the house and are only sometimes locked in their bedroom (the bathroom) because that’s where their food and litter box is. They’re given plenty snuggles and love, especially from my daughter, they love to play and cuddle on her bedroom floor. As for a clients animal, I will follow whichever routine is given for each animal (cat or dog) Whether it’s playing fetch, simply feeding them or going for a walk.
