Since retiring from healthcare, caring for animals has become my full-time work. My home offers a calm, safe environment with a large fenced yard and two friendly dogs. I intentionally limit the number of boarding dogs so each pet receives personalized attention. I’m currently a proud pet parent to a 1-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix whom I rescued from a difficult situation, along with two cats—one of whom I also rescued. I’ve personally crate-trained and potty-trained my dog, worked with her on basic skills and obedience, and helped her become comfortable and well-socialized around both people and other animals. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was young and helped friends and family with their other pets including cats. Once my own dog became sick several years ago, I decided my love for animals was much more and wanted to help others. I have cared for many types of dogs and I’m very comfortable handling any medical issues as well as social anxiety since I’ve helped mine as well as others with these conditions. I’m certified in pet first aid and CPR. When I lost my 16 year old cavalier King Charles spaniel a year and a half ago, I decided to be more available and pet sit. I currently have a young, terrier mix who is a ball of energy, I’m very flexible and can do house sits, drop ins, and walks. I will take care of additional needs requested and I’m good at communicating so you will know how your loved one is doing while I’m with them. I very flexible but do currently work Wednesday evenings and usually one day a weekend. This may change to starting in May to more availability. I have a fenced in yard but live on several acres of land. My young terrier loves exploring the woods and creek. I care for senior dogs who do not have this lifestyle and have mobility and other issues that need special attention. I’ve always had my own dogs and clients who prefer them to sleep with me and are on my sofas but I tailor my care to what the owners want and is how they are comfortable.

About: I have been watching dogs for 15 years. I have experience giving medications, walking, boarding, house sitting, aggressive dogs, all breeds, and dogs of all ages! About: I can get your dog in shape, trained, and tired for you to cuddle them to sleep. Can feed and transport them to appointments. Willing to take them to groomers, doctors, or to play dates. I'm currently doing uber and doordash but am looking for more gigs that aren't solely reliant on my vehicle. I don't mind being flexible to perform other tasks while assisting your pets. I will feed them, water them, rewash their bowls or other items, I will take them out to the potty, exercise and play with them, train them, transport them as needed, take them to appointments, light grooming, and wash them.

About: I’ve been breeding and raising golden retrievers since I was 16, I’ve been a professional groomer since I was 18. But my love for animals started when I was just a little girl. 🩷 I’m currently in my third trimester and I am a stay at home mom to be. So I am very flexible in my day to day schedule. About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 8. I absolutely love spending time outdoors and visiting the dog park. I have always enjoyed spending time with animals, and have watched several pets besides my own. I currently attend App State as an IO Psychology Graduate Student, so I have a very flexible schedule. I frequently go for runs at local parks after work, and would love to bring your dog with! I have a backyard, but it is unfenced. However I am willing to take pets to any other locations, such as hiking trails or dog parks. I am able to spend time with pets because all of my free time is spent outdoors! Whether it's taking a walk around the neighborhood, running around a state park, or hanging out in the backyard, I enjoy being outdoors regardless of the weather. I am not able to take dogs into my apartment, however I have a car for easy transportation to nearby outdoor areas. There are so many great options in Boone, I will definitely find a great place to take your dog!
