About: I’ve always loved taking care of animals since I was young. I grew up around springer spaniels, australian cattles, labs, pomeranians, and retrievers. I’ve been pet sitting for neighbors the past few years and decided to join the app to get to know more furry friends in our community. I have a tuxedo cat and Italian Greyhound dog. I typically work 11-2 most days so I have earlier mornings/evenings I can dedicate to taking care of your pet! I work from home so it shouldn’t be difficult to pop over to your house to play with your furry friends. My dog is my best friend but she is an escape artist so I am always very careful about always checking the yard for any escape routes and always keeping them on a leash. I will always be very careful with your dog and cat because safety is my top priority!

About: I have had years of experience with kids from babysitting and being a camp counselor along with pet setting. Parents would rely on me to take care of the kids as well! I currently work as a registered behavior technician from 9-1 and I’m also a junior at iusb studying health science! My classes are online for the summer session. The dogs will always have my full attention so I can always make sure they aren't getting into anything along as always having a play mate! I will make sure they eat great meals and have a great time.
About: Ive always had pets growing up my whole life, I started watching other people’s pets my last year of high school. I love all animals and I care for them like they are my own. I know how difficult it can be to leave your pet behind when going on vacation, work calls, etc. which is why I keep all owners updated and informed on how their fur babies are doing. I currently work a 9-5, M-F. However my boyfriend gets off work at 3. Which is why I have my availability set to the weekends. I am not opposed to weekdays I just want to be up front about my schedule. I live on a half acre but we are out in the country surrounded by open fields. Therefore we have plenty of room to run, walk, and play, I also have two dogs myself to keep yours company and play! I do crate my own dogs when I leave the house because we have an open pantry and we’ve had trips to the vet because of things being eaten that should not have been… Therefore I prefer to crate dogs when I leave the house.
About: I grew up a dog lover, and when I moved into an apartment, I became a certified cat person. I have 2 cats of my own that get so stressed out when I go on trips and don't bring them! So I really understand the importance of going above and beyond to play with your pets and keep them company. I am working a full time job that changes hours seasonally. Right now I am available anytime on Monday and Tuesday, and before noon the rest of the week. I am totally comfortable sending pictures and videos of your pets while I’m visiting! About: I grew up with 3 animals, I had a rat terrier who lived until she was 15 so I am able to take care of elderly dogs and german shepherd. I currently have a male puppy german shepherd, although I am not certified at training I was able to potty train my puppy and teach him to sit and stay until my command. I am currently a full time student, I have classes from 9:30am-4pm, so any time before and after that I am available. On weekends I’m more flexible. I can crate your dog if needed, I will watch the dog constantly and make sure he/she is fed and has water, while also playing with him/her and making sure they use the bathroom.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
