About: Hi, my name is Megan. I have been volunteering at my local Humane Society, for over 2 years, so I’ve had lots of experience with so many different breeds of dogs! I enjoy all types of animals. Potty breaks I know are important along with tons of play time. I will able to learn/ adapt to your pets needs! All animals are wonderful in my eyes! Lots of pets and scratches will be, belly rubs also included! I personally would love to be able to watch your pets. It’s my dream job I’d say! I’m very laidback, and have a calm personality . Also I’ll treat your pet as I would my very own. I work part time! So most days I am available to walk or watch your animals! Just message me to talk more about how I can care for your animal(s)! Insured ✔️ First Aid✔️ Trustworthy✔️ Having grown up on a hobby farm, begging for more pets to take care of in a family of 𝕣𝕖𝕤𝕡𝕠𝕟𝕤𝕚𝕓𝕝𝕖 𝕕𝕠𝕘 𝕓𝕣𝕖𝕖𝕕𝕖𝕣𝕤 and 𝕒𝕟𝕚𝕞𝕒𝕝 𝕗𝕒𝕟𝕔𝕚𝕖𝕣𝕤, I have been exposed from early childhood to the ins and outs of animal care through all stages of a pet’s life. 🐎🐶🐱🦜🦚 I have experience with basic training of my family’s and my own many unique dogs from a variety of different Mastiff and Bulldogs breeds, along with many others, also raising and teaching young horses. I always love to learn something new with your pets! I especially have a soft spot for baby animals and elderly pets as well, as I have experience with extensive care of newborn puppies, kittens, and other animals, including bottle feeding and other surrogate mom duties! And I can help administer your pet’s medicines, unique diets, and other needs. Spending time helping at a kennel free pet care facility has completely opened my eyes to the comradery and collective growth of the community surrounding animal care, and I am grateful to be involved! I also have gained experience managing situations, working with reactive pets, and assisting socializing our Covid babies. My own pets have included a diverse menagerie of XL to pocket sized pets! At home, I enjoy caring for • Cats & Dogs • Aquarium/terrarium animals • Parrots & other birds • Exotics, farm animals and horses • Houseplants & gardens Cleaning in the home, Pet Bathing, Dog Yard Cleaning, and Gardening are available for a separate fee upon request during stays. I am very flexible, sometimes running errands between tasks when appropriate. My schedule is filled with primarily overnight and extended stays, then walks and drop ins when the timing is compatible. I am also able to accommodate pets in need of full time supervision as long as this is discussed ahead of time. Please note for overnight and extended stays, that Wednesday night and Sunday morning I have an appointment to attend to for a couple of hours. I spend time also volunteering and occasionally overseeing a doggy daycare. When Petsitting, I do like to get out of the house at least once a day if possible, to avoid isolating. Please reach out with any pet care needs including extended stays, and we can discuss availability. Please Note: Initial requests are estimated based on hours and number of pets. Requests including any holiday will be estimated using holiday rates. Prices will not be finalized until after a Meet & Greet (virtual or in person). Safe Walking: During walks I usually stick to sidewalks and crosswalks to minimize unnecessary risk for your fur baby. I have high situational awareness as I have also had experience working with reactive dogs on a case by case basis. I always err on the side of caution and can recognize my own limits! In our MN extreme heat or cold, I usually opt to play with your pet indoors instead, or take them out at the safest time of day temperature wise. Safety at Home: Please move toxic plants and valuable items completely out of reach of your pets if there is a possibility of them being chewed. For pets who have accidents, I do my best to clean up messes with the products provided in the home as the owners usually would. I have had experience with caring for dogs with aggression toward each other in the same home, and can adapt to many situations as long as safety is secured in the environment prior to my arrival and I am aware of the pets needs and agree with the measures enacted on a case by case basis. In the client’s home, I prefer to follow the pet owner’s usual schedule of care for each pet as closely as possible including feeding and grooming, playtime and walks. While supplying pet supplies are the responsibility of the owner, I can provide those requested during stays or as a special treat (with permission). Privacy: Recording/surveillance of pet sitters in private areas is illegal. I don’t mind security devices, but I do want to be aware of them. Thank you! *My own pets do not accompany me to stays or walks with clients unless requested by a client for socialization.

“I am VERY pleased with Kya!! I have a very high-strung german shorthair that requires a lot of runs/ outside time. I was nervous leaving her for the first time knowing she can be a lot to handle at times and that she has only ever stayed with my parents! Kya was very reassuring and told me that she has two high-strung dogs of her own that she likes to take on walks/ runs and knows how to take care of higher-strung dogs. While I was gone Kya took the time out of her day to send me pictures of Echo, and I arrived home to a very nice note from her! 11/10 recommend Kya with any of your dogs needs! She's a great girl! “We had Linsie drop in 3x with our 2 pups for an afternoon. Linsie not only took them outside but played and cuddled with them. It was storming that day so she had 2 wet pups! Linsie also sent us pictures and our pups looked happy and content. Linsie also provided updates on the pups on each drop in. Our pups took an instant liking to Linsie as she took the time to get aquainted with our pups the day before the drop in so our pups would be familiar with her. We so appreciate the love and care that Linsie showed to our pups. We definitely will have Linsie care for our pups again!!”

About: I grew up on a farm and I have experience with multiple different breeds of animals. I take the time to listen to animals and their body language. I work part time. So i have plenty of extra time to spend and care for your fur baby. Im available Monday to Friday after 2pm and weekends! I have plent of yard space and easy access to walking tails and parks. I do have a dog friendly cat who can keep ur fur baby company

About: I walked and cared for dogs since I could walk! I have a large backyard with tons of space for them to run around. I focus on positive reinforcement I am a full time Nurse and I love caring for pets on my days off! I work 12 hour shifts so that allows me to have more days off to spend with your pets :) I offer lots of positive reinforcement by rewarding good behaviors. I am receptive to their needs and wants and love to get them lots of exercise. I will listen to any advice you have and implement any training you have been working on at home
