“We want to express our gratitude for the excellent care Becky provided. It was comforting to know that both our cats, one shy and one picky, warmed up to her quickly. The peace of mind knowing our pets were happy is truly invaluable. We can confidently recommend her services, as we don't have to worry about them while we are away. We appreciate the care she provided.”

About: Hi there! I’m Paige — a registered nurse and work-from-home mom who absolutely loves caring for dogs. Because I’m home full-time, your pup will get plenty of attention, playtime, and affection throughout the day. I live on a beautiful 22-acre property with plenty of space to roam, sniff, and explore! While our yard isn’t fully fenced, I do have a secure, gated outdoor area where dogs can safely play and stretch their legs under my supervision. With my nursing background, I’m comfortable providing both oral and injectable medications, and I take pride in making sure every pet’s health and safety come first. Our home is family-friendly — with a child and a friendly resident dog — so I ask that visiting pups be both kid-friendly and dog-friendly to keep everyone happy and safe. ⸻ What I Offer: 🐕 Boarding & daycare in my home — dogs are part of the family here! 💉 Medication administration, including injections 🦮 Supervised outdoor playtime in our gated yard area 📸 Photo & text updates so you can see how much fun your pup is having ❤️ Constant care & attention from a stay-at-home nurse ⸻ Requirements: To ensure a safe and happy environment for everyone, I ask that all dogs are: 🐶 Dog-friendly 👶 Kid-friendly 💉 Up to date on vaccines and flea/tick prevention ⸻ Home Setup: • 22 acres of peaceful land to explore • Secure, gated outdoor area for playtime • Cozy indoor spaces for naps and snuggles • Always supervised care — your dog will never be left unattended outdoors Work from home, home most days all day, may be gone for a few hours a day a few days a week, never gone for more then a few hours My husband and I live on 22 acres and have plenty of room for your dogs to play with our 2 dogs! Dogs must be friendly, not aggressive and friendly with kids.
About: I have had family pets for my whole life. Dogs and cats, chickens, ducks, and turkeys. I worked at a horse barn for over 2 years. My cat had passed away over a year ago from liver cancer. I am used to incorporating medicine in food, pills or even a syringe directing in the mouth. I am currently unemployed so I have plenty of time for daily care including walks, sitting or feedings.I am also available for weekly routines as well. I love to look at notes/routines provided from the client and follow accordingly. I love to send update pictures/videos to keep updated on their pets daily as I do my best for their pets to have the best time. I do not take risks as the wellbeing of pets are paramount.
“Wow, where to start?! Shelly came to our rescue when our normal sitter wasn't available. With incredibly short notice & my jam packed schedule, she arranged an unhurried meet & greet - where my fur babies took to her like stick to glue! She really cares about the family she assists - human & fur alike. She went above & beyond in her care & we felt totally comfortable with her in charge. She also uses common sense & actively solves issues, not waiting for long communication delays to address things she's capable of handling. We couldn't be more pleased and HIGHLY recommend Shelly for loving & safe care of your fur family. Oh, and be prepared for a TON of pictures, she's super good at sending them with her updates! Thank you Shelly, you are amazing!”

I also work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility where I take care of pups all ages and breeds. I work part time and have plenty of time to take care of any animal I only work 4 hours on most days which gives me a lot of time to play and socialize with the animals. On Monday and Wednesday I work 7 hours, from 9-12 and 2-6 in between those time I will be with your fur baby’s aswell. Tuesdays and Thursdays I have school at 8-11am. Tuesdays I work 2-6. Then on any other day I will be with them every second I can be and I will be letting them out very frequently or as often as asked.
About: I've owned dogs for about 20 years now. I love them and they love me back. Befriending animals is a skill that comes naturally to me and I would love to help you care for yours. I do work full time M-F during first shift but my schedule is flexible. After work hours, my schedule is also varied but when I make a commitment, I adhere to it. I'm always punctual and communicative. I'm happy to adhere to your guidelines for your pet. We can walk, run, play, train, treat, feed, etc. I want you and your pet to get the most out of this service.

“Carissa took great care of our two pit bull mixes with drop-in visits at our home. One of our dogs is quite skittish with new people and she won him over quickly. We especially loved getting photos at every visit. We will rebook her again.”

About: I worked at Potter Park Zoo. I have experience boarding, and training dogs. I have the experience to keep your pets both safe and happy. I care for dogs and cats daily as the owner of a boarding facility. This will be another offering for my customers and the community. There is opportune time to attend to in home visits. I will use my experience of owning a boarding facility, which can house up to 34 pet guests, to care for your pets in your home. I will feed, let out and interact and play with them.
“Molly is the ONLY person I’ll ever consider when having to leave my dogs home while I travel! She was FANTASTIC with my dogs and they ADORE HER! She is uniquely qualified as a Vet Tech, and I felt very comfortable in knowing my older dog’s meds were given and given correctly. My dogs were so well cared for that they really weren’t overly excited to see me when I returned! Thank you, Molly, for the outstanding care and attention you gave to my dogs!!!”

About: Welcome! I have over 20years experience working with dogs. I like to look at my pet boarding as an Airbnb for pets! I am a former service dog trainer. I am currently enrolled in dog training courses through Rover. I will be completing a Veterinarian Assistant program this summer. There is always someone home or available. I work & study remotely. I do provide talking dog buttons. If your dog uses them let me know & we will have them available with words your dog uses & hopefully learn some new ones! Anything that is trending that promoted positive life quality for dogs I usually have on hand or am incorporating it into use Each day I incorporate daily walks, cuddles, & basic training. Basic training is eye contact, leash & buddy walking. I provide one on one time for the dogs each daily. I make sure no dog feels left out. In the summer months their last night of boarding they get a special walk to the ice cream store to enjoy a pup cup & extra one on one time. On weekends in the summers. I am outside most days . The dog/s can enjoy ice bowls, kiddie pool, water sprinklers and shade in the backyard. In the summer I offer water play daily! They have free will to come in & out of the house into the fenced in yard all day! In the fall & winter months the dogs can enjoy outside time by a warm outdoor doggie bonfire. There are areas they can romp in the leaves & explore. I also incorporate daily walks weather permitting. On colder days or rainy days we have a rainy paw day. If the dogs are open to it they can enjoy some doggy stretches, Spaw services such as coconut oil rubs on their paw pads, homemade doggie treats, and dog related movies and cuddles!
“I had a great experience with Sara as my new pet sitter! She was quick to respond to messages and kept me updated throughout her visits, which gave me real peace of mind. She took excellent care of my cat, Buddy, and it was clear she genuinely cared about his well-being. I’ll definitely be using her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring pet sitter.”

About: I’ve had the joy of owning cats and dogs for many many years. I have owned several varieties. I have also had the joy of taking care of other peoples pets. I currently work part-time and I can fit pet Care into my daily and or weekly routine with ease. I am available for more hours in the summer. I tend to care for others pets in their home or walking. I do have my own pets and I know it’s not best to introduce unknown animals.
“Lauren came and meet my dog Sammy before went great she is a great listener. Kept me informed of visit details and pictures of her visit. Looking forward to her help in the future as I start to need it more.”

“BEST DOG SITTERS EVER. They spent so much time with ours dogs and we had a worry-free vacation knowing they were in such good hands. They also did great with our highly anxious cavalier and our very big Bernese mountain dog. Highly recommend and will be using them for all future dog sitting!!!”

About: I have been taking care of cats and dogs for at least 20 years. I love each as if they were my own. I also love turtles, and frogs but don’t have much experience with them. ❤️🐸❤️ I can do dog walking, and any other daily drop ins you may need. My schedule is very open for any house/pet sitting you may need also. I’d like this to be what I do for a career. I am willing to stay with your pet in your home and to walk your dogs in their favorite places. I want them to feel at home and comfortable.

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my entire life and was fortunate to grow up learning from my father, an experienced police K-9 trainer and handler. That lifelong experience gave me a strong understanding of canine behavior and the confidence to care for dogs of all breeds, ages, and personalities. I have experience with crate training, potty training, leash training, introducing dogs to children and other animals, and managing food and toy resource guarding. My goal is to provide every dog with a safe, structured, and loving environment where they feel right at home. I offer in-home boarding for up to three (occasionally four) dogs at a time, allowing me to provide personalized care and plenty of one-on-one attention. Because I’m home throughout the day, puppies benefit from frequent potty breaks and routine reinforcement, while senior dogs receive the extra patience and care they deserve. I also offer drop-in visits for all types of pets and flexible pick-up and drop-off services for an additional $30 each way. For boarding stays longer than three days, I may request a four-hour daycare trial to help ensure we’re a great fit. Proof of current vaccinations is required for all boarding guests. Every day is designed to be calm, engaging, and tailored to your pet’s needs. We spend time playing, enjoying supervised outdoor time, and incorporating enrichment throughout the day while balancing exercise with plenty of rest. I do my best to maintain your dog’s normal routine, including feeding schedules, medications, and any special instructions, so they feel comfortable, secure, and right at home while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities. We live on a fully fenced one-acre property where dogs have plenty of room to play, explore, and enjoy the outdoors. Because our yard is surrounded by trees and natural foliage, I require boarding dogs to be on a veterinarian-recommended tick preventative. Whether your pet is boarding or I’m visiting them in your home, I’ll care for them as if they were my own by following their routine, respecting their individual personality, and paying close attention to their body language and comfort level. I also believe it’s important to teach my children to respect animals and their boundaries. Together, we’ve created a calm, gentle home where pets are treated with patience, kindness, and lots of love.
About: I’m new to the area but not new to pet sitting. I had a successful pet sitting business in Savannah, Ga for over 12 years. I have over 30+ years experience with pets from both big to small: dogs of all sizes, cats, birds, parrots, ferrets, hamsters, guinea pigs, and fish. I have experience with all pet stages and I’m comfortable with taking care from puppies to elderly pets as well. I’m a stay at home mom but both kids are now in school and my husband is a disabled veteran so he’s home to take care of them so I am fully available to be free to care for your fur babies. Staying in your home or doing drop ins, I’ll stick to your schedule on feedings and I prefer unless absolutely unavoidable to let the dogs out every 4hrs or so unless the dog prompts the need to go outside. If the dog is elderly or has a bladder issue or potty training I can let them out more frequently. The pet will receive love, affection, and we’ll play (varying on dogs needs or likes). Animals are like people, so understanding their personality and likes helps keep them comfortable and happy. Cat litter unless specified I change/clean daily. If you have houseplants I can water them or open blinds for them to get their necessary light, I will also bring in any packages and your mail if desired.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
