About: Serving Saranac Lake, Lake Placid, and Tupper Lake. Local pickup possible depending on schedule. I generally take up to three dogs at a time and have one dog of my own. All guest dogs must tolerate other dogs. I've lived with dogs since I was 5 years old. Beagles, Dachshunds, Shepards, and currently a beagle mix named Cedar. I've rarely known life without a dog and I wouldn't have it any other way! Cedar and I love adventuring around the Adirondacks and the neighborhood. I've got a large unfenced yard so your doggy can enjoy exploring on a leash or time out on a lead if they like, between walks and other adventures! I do work 9-5 Monday-Friday so your dog should be OK being left alone for up to 8 hours. Cedar loves other dogs and loves playing so if your pup likes other dogs they should have a blast together! I am located 10 minutes from Lake Placid and 20 minutes from Tupper Lake. Pick-up in either of these towns may be possible depending on my schedule. I also have a XL crate available for visiting dogs, if your friend does better in a crate when left alone (otherwise they will be free to roam the house). LATE PICK UP: there may be a late departure fee of $10 if you plan on picking your pet up after 12PM on the departure day. I work 9-5 Mon-Fri and may be out of the house for up to 8 hours. Your dog should be OK being left alone during this time. I will leave dogs loose in my house or I can crate them if needed. I keep a XL crate on hand for dogs up to 80lbs. Dogs live with me and my dog Cedar as if they were my own. If they get along with others they are left to roam the house when I am not home. Otherwise they can also be crated. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have two leads for potty breaks.

About: I’ve always loved dogs! I will never not own one. With your dog in my care, they will be spoiled with cuddles, treats, walks. Play time and more Animals are my biggest passion. I walk my dog several times a day and would love to help you with yours. Wether is a daily walk, puppy play date or more I offer a smoke free home. Your pet will always be taken care of the way you ask. Wether it’s cuddles, a quick check in, a walk, etc

About: I’ve helped take care of my family’s Australian Labradoodle, Penny, ever since we got her, 5 years ago. In these past couple years I’ve facilitated dozens of “doggy play dates” (communal dog walking and play time at dog parks and backyards) with dogs of all different sizes. I am very comfortable and confident with all types of dogs, and often dog sit and dog walk for friends and neighbors when they are out of town. I currently live in Burlington and am free on weekends and after 5pm MWF and after 6pm Tuesday and Thursday. I am able to spend as much time as needed with your pets if it makes you, or them, more comfortable! I’m comfortable caring for pets in new environments. I can crate, feed, walk, and play with your animals, and will be clean and respectful to your space and home.

About: I've been around pets and have helped take care of them ever since I was a child. Growing up we always had at least 1 dog and 1 cat but mostly we had 2 of each until they passed of old age. More recently my partner and I have a 5 year old doberman that we have raised since he was a puppy. Pet care is very important to me and I will not take a job unless I know I can give the pet the care it deserves I work flexibly full time so I will have the chance to check up on your pets semi often if needed. Early morning check ins, afternoon walks, and nightly walks/check-ins are all easily done with my schedule. For first time clients I always want to meet the pets and owners first to make sure there is no issues and everyone gets along. From there we can discuss how to best care for your pet and I can learn what they need.

I've grown up with pets my whole life and greatly understand their needs and the responsibilities associated with pet care. I’m a clear and responsive communicator and will always listen to how you want your pet cared for. I also enjoy going for runs and hikes, so if your dog has a lot of energy, we will get along well! I’m excited to meet your pet(s)! I am able to do overnights with pets and can visit them during mornings, midday, and nights. I can take last minute bookings. I work a flexible schedule during the week. I make sure to assess the comfortability of the animal before settling into the house. I try to keep it a quiet atmosphere until the animal feels comfortable being around me. I make sure that they are my priority and I give them full attention given that they're most likely stressed. About: I have a background in veterinary medicine and that’s where I gained my knowledge of and love for dogs. My boyfriend and I work as a dog sitting team. We both work from home and are available to supervise pets all day. We have 57 acres of land for walking and playing. We are equipped to provide nail trims and ear cleanings, if requested. We are also available to pick up and drop off dogs. My partner and I work as a team to take care of pets. One or both of us is typically home at any given point, making it easy for us to supervise pets all day. We have 57 acres of land. This is mostly unfenced and we can walk dogs on a leash if necessary. We have two dogs of our own, who are very well trained and love to play. We are committed to providing positive socialization and training experiences for pets.

About: When I lived in Syracuse where my family resides I spent years taking care of my brothers Energetic Beagle named Daisy! I care and love to take care of animals as if they were my own! ☺️ I currently have a full time job Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5pm. I am free after 5 pm during the week and all day on weekends. I rent out my building I reside in so I unfortunately can’t have pets at my place, but will travel to someone else’s. Each owner usually has different preferences usually on what they’d like for their pet so I will take any instruction that is given. I will make sure your pets are well fed, have plenty of water and exercise.

About: I have had a dog and several cats growing up and taken care of pets for friends and family. I currently live with a my girlfriend her Bernese Mountain Dog. I currently work a 9-5 job so am open to morning and afternoon walks. I am also generally flexible on weekends if planned in advance. My girlfriend has a 130 pound Bernese Mountain Dog which can be a handful. I have learned how to navigate new spaces deescalate situations with him. My strategy is mitigating the possibility for anything to go wrong and being prepared if it does.

About: I have taken care of all kinds of animals, since growing up on a dairy farm in Charlotte, VT. I love dogs and finally have one of my own, and Austrailian Shepard, he happily plays with all dogs and enjoys off lease pack walks at local areas. I do overnight, day boarding, and pick up to play. I'm very flexible and happy to work at a short notice. I work from home and have my own business that gives the flexibility to work around my dogs schedule. I have a fenced in yard, along with a park right next door. Not only will they be mostly outside while they are here, they will get plenty of exercise and down time if needed.

About: I’ve had dogs most of my life—dogs who are small, timid, and nervous as well as big, goofy and playful. We can make sure it’s a good fit with a meet and greet to make sure everyone’s comfortable before moving forward. I work 3 days a week as a nurse and usually know my work schedule a month in advance. I am hoping to do a couple of dog walks, check ins and house sitting days so that you can take a trip, work or be *kid free 🐶* for a night or two. Let me know how I can help! About: I’m a fur mama of one 85lb , 3 year old mush who is hyper, energetic , and very needy. I love taking him on walks, to the beach, and anywhere he can go to get his energy out. My fiancé and I are planning our dream wedding and I would love to offer pet care in your house ( or mine if your dog or dog friendly) . I would love to give someone the opportunity to go on vacation without the Warriors of their pet being lonely or not getting the attention they deserve. I’m well experienced in dogs of all breeds and sizes and emotional/ physical needs. I am a teacher Monday- Friday but have weekends and summers off. I can be there before and after school, as well. Weekends I am free. I want to offer your pet lots of love, care and engagement while you are traveling. I try to keep them on their normally scheduled routine and work with the pet parent to make sure they are comfortable or have any special requests.

About: Aside from having a family dog for 15 years, I have house/pet-sitting experience working for family members and close friends since 2007. I have never met a pet I didn’t adore. I’m self-employed, which means very flexible hours. Weekends are not out of the question with notice. I always try to find ways to make scheduling work. I will make sure that your loving companions are safe, fed, walked (if applicable), loved and attended to for the entire duration of my visit.
