My Chihuahua, who is notably sociable and friendly, enjoys interacting with other dogs, cats, and people alike. Resident Pets In addition to my Chihuahua, I share my home with two cats that I rescued from the local animal shelter. Both cats are well-adjusted and accustomed to living with dogs. Typically, after a brief introduction consisting of a few sniffs and perhaps a hiss, they are able to coexist peacefully with other cats. With more than 26 years of experience in owning and caring for both dogs and cats, I am well-versed in understanding and meeting their unique needs. About: As a child and teen, I helped my mom breed, raise, and train golden retrievers. As an adult and family man, I cared for my dog "Beyoncé" and cat "Kitty." This includes food, water, play, running, brushing, brushing teeth, and trimming. My pets have passed on and I’m ready to host 😊 Im a dad of 3 boys with shared custody. With a barn and a sunroom, I’m able to separate kids from dogs as-needed. I enjoy the rural setting, and keep chickens and ducks, and garden. I’m a civil engineer / environmental consultant and work at home 100%. I have a lot of flexibility with taking breaks. Experienced with using a clicker to train, and using a beep / vibrate collar for training spirited dogs. Aiming to cater to the most “difficult” dogs for those owners who have limited options. The house is kept clean and because of my pet history I keep things off the floor and food safe from pets. There’s a nice yard but no fence. I have my three boys staying here every other week/end. They're animal lovers too, but in case separation is needed, my bedroom, enclosed sunroom, and finished barn space can be used to contain a pet when the kids are around. For pet sitting and dog walking, I have a leash and a fanny pack. As a runner, it's a joy to take energetic dogs on the trail. For runs & walks, I use my own private access to the little gunpowder falls river woods with a long walkable waterfall, the local NCR trail, or the cemetery across the street (1/4mi laps).
About: I’ve raised puppies since I was young, til the were seniors. Now, we just have one dog and four cats. We love animals, pet sitting, walking, and caring for others gives us a way to do so. My son Kingston, is jumping in this summer to help, he is home from college. I am a SAHM, it’s easy for me to fit your loved ones into my schedule! About: I have a wide variety of experience with all sorts of animals. I’ve had large and small dogs, cats, rodents, amphibians, and lizards, I even had a pot belly pig, sheep & duck as a child. I also volunteered at a local vet when I was a teenager and gained a lot of hands on experience caring for many types of animals! Currently I’m a stay at home mom, this allows me to spend a lot of one on one time with your pet. Your fur baby will be well cared for and interacted with while they’re here or while I’m there! I have 3 kids. Ages 16, 17 & 21.(Please note that Rover doesn’t consider my children’s ages to count towards, “children being present in our home.” However, I think this information should be available to those who choose to put their pets in my care. I have a fenced in yard with plenty of space for your fur baby to run! I also have separate family room in my house where our dogs sleep at night, and that is where I would put crates if they need to be crated at any time.
