“Kyla was recommended to us for a booking she could not make. We met and thought she was so nice and our Pup seemed to love her so we booked her to have drop in visits. She took such great care of our girl while we were out of town! I couldn’t be happier to recommend Kyla! Thank you so much, we will see you again soon.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals most of my life. I grew up with a dog and a rabbit, and I’m now a proud dog mom to two wonderful pups, Mola and Edwin. I understand how much love and attention pets need because I give it every day! I also regularly dog sit and walk for friends and family, so I’m comfortable with different personalities and routines. Whether it’s playtime, feeding, or simply making your pet feel safe and loved, I’m here to help. I work full-time Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, but I’m available for late afternoon, and evening visits during the week. I’m also open and flexible on weekends for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays. If you’re looking for someone dependable outside of standard work hours, I’m happy to help! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. While I don’t offer boarding in my home, I’m committed to providing reliable care in your pet’s familiar environment or through drop-ins and walks. I always follow your instructions carefully and treat every pet with the same love and attention I give my own dogs. You can trust that your furry friend will be safe, respected, and well-cared-for every step of the way.

“Kara is amazing!! She has cared for Izzy in the past. It's been several months since we needed a sitter, but since we found ourselves needing someone recently, she was immediately our choice to go to! Kara very happily responded right away that she would love to take care of our girl again! Super smooth visit, Izzy remembered her right away! Kara was even completely confident with giving Izzy important medications during their visit. Fantastic communication, lots of pictures. We were totally at ease knowing Izzy was well cared for ❤️ 12/10 Kara is amazing. We will always look to her for all our dog-sitting needs!”

About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was young, starting with family pets and then helping out coworkers, roommates, and friends. Now, thanks to Rover, I’ve expanded that experience by sitting for dogs, cats, and even chickens and ducks through multiple bookings. I’ve stayed overnight, done daily drop-ins, and cared for everything from laid-back seniors to energetic young dogs. No matter the setting, I take pet care seriously. I follow routines closely, respect the home I’m in, and always aim to make pets feel calm, safe, and well cared for. Whether it’s their first time away from their owner or they’ve done this before, I treat every animal with the same attentiveness and warmth I’d hope someone would show mine. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine, and I’ve built my schedule to ensure pets receive consistent attention and care. I’m currently studying for the bar exam, which takes place at the end of July, so my days are structured and home-based—perfect for maintaining a steady rhythm for feeding, walks, and playtime. After the exam, my schedule opens up significantly, and I’ll have full availability for longer or more frequent bookings starting in August. I don’t host pets in my home, but I take pride in following your routines closely and keeping pets content in their own space. I’m neat, respectful of your home, and mindful of both your pet’s needs and your home’s security.

“Amazing to our girl Rosie. Never had an issue. Easy to work with and an incredible animal person. We’ll be rebooking with Nicolette as soon as we move back to the area”

“Sara was very kind and communicative. She played with our grumpy kitty and kept us up to date about anything going on. We really appreciated her thoroughness and will definitely be booking with her again”

About: Honest, Experienced, Reliable pet sitting and care. We take great pride in forming a bond with each pet we take care of. This is something that we love doing and will love yours like our own. As an added bonus you should get a few great photos of your favorite creature! We have taken care of Dogs, Cats, Parrots, Turtles, Fish, Chickens, Ducks, Goats, Pigs, Horses, worms, snails, etc. If you have some fun and interesting animals we would love to come, meet you and them, and take care of them while you are out of town, or just at work! We welcome pets that love to snuggle in bed, elderly pets, as well as difficult and anxious pets. Sometimes our posted rates don’t meet your special needs pets, and appreciate your patience in the negotiation process. You will get the best available and individualized care of your pets in our home, or yours. Daily updates along with photos and videos of your pet, and have the peace of mind they are being loved and cared for just like you would at your own home. We welcome training opportunities, and can continue treat and/or clicker training and potty training as well. My husband worked at a local Donkey rescue and I have been rescuing Strays since 1985. We both just love and care for animals. The nitty gritty details: We only watch pets from 1 family at a time. This lessens the stress on them, and us, and allows us to give them the BEST care possible. This also costs a bit more. Our time is valuable, as we know yours does as well. While we are capable of hosting multiple pets, we choose to focus our time and care on your families pets 1 at a time. We do require a meet and greet, and sometimes a “trial run” for certain breeds, elderly pets, or pets we will be watching for over 2 days. In most circumstances this is NOT required, but we do want to meet those who are known to have separation anxiety, barking issues, food aggression or aggression in general, have high energy needs, special diets and medications and any pet that doesn’t do well with strangers. Day care pets during the week do need to be fairly well mannered, and not have barking and/or major anxiety issues. Drop off before 8:00am and Pick-Ups after 8:00pm will be charged an additional $10 per hour. Pets not picked up within 15 minutes of the scheduled pick up window will be charged an additional $20/hr. I currently work full time remote, so will have plenty of time to play and care for your pets! We have a regular schedule of play time, including walking or outdoor time every 2-4 hours for 15-30 minutes. We have a fully fenced backyard, and ALWAYS leash ALL pets when outside our yard. We have had several “runners”, corgis and cats that want to bolt for the first sign of freedom… or squirrels/birds etc. We take great caution to make sure your pet is safe at ALL times.

“Ethan was great when taking care of our older dog, Brady. The pictures he sent on the Rover card showed Brady was very happy while we were on our trip. Ethan also watered our vegetables for us as well. I couldn’t recommend Ethan more to folks. We will be contacting him in the future for sure.”

About: Hello! I am a full-time remote working professional in the pet wellness industry. If you have a strong internet connection, I am a great choice for your home and pet needs. I have over 40 years of experience with my own dogs, rabbits and frogs (yes, frogs!). I do, unfortunately, have a cat allergy so I would not be able to stay in any homes with felines. I work remotely full-time therefore can be available to be in your home daily, even all day if needed or desired. My home is also open for day-to-day pet care in my home. I have a fenced in yard for your pets. I am currently pet free and look forward to spending time with your fur babies in my home or yours.

About: For over two years, my life has been a revolving door of furry faces, wagging tails, and the occasional purr-fect cuddle. Fostering animals isn't just a hobby; it's a heartfelt commitment to providing temporary homes and endless love to those who need it most. Each animal comes with its own unique story, personality quirks, and, of course, challenges. I am currently a nanny and a business owner of a plant shop here in Maine! I have three days off each week, and am busy with weddings on weekends usually! I am completely free when it’s my time with your animals and will help in anyway I can to help them feel comfortable and accommodated for. I’m happy to do weekly check in’s and care! Caring for pets, whether in my home or yours, is my passion. With over two years of fostering experience, I've developed a keen understanding of each animal's unique needs and quirks. My approach combines a nurturing environment with a focus on their individual well-being, ensuring they feel safe, loved, and stimulated.

About: I've had animals my whole life. I have house sat my friends and family's pets for years while they go on vacation. In my spare time I work with the animals at the Animal Refuge League both dogs and cats. They have provided different types of training for both cat and canine care. I work from home so I am able to house sit and still continue working. This allows me to be with youe pets as often as possible during your time away. I do not care for pets in my home since I have a cat and a dog myself. (They get watched by my roommate while I'm away)

About: I have a personalized approach and am dedicated to meeting the unique needs of every furry friend. With extensive experience in training puppies and providing specialized care for senior pets, I ensure that each animal receives the attention and support they deserve. My ability to tailor activities and routines to suit individual personalities and requirements sets me apart, creating a comfortable and enriching experience for pets under my care. From basic obedience training to gentle senior companionship, I'm committed to providing top-notch care that fosters trust and happiness for both pets and their owners. I am Pet First Aid & CPR Certified. I live in a private association and have a sizable, secluded yard that borders a stream and pond. Since I work remotely from home four days a week and have summers off, pet care seamlessly integrates into my routine. Each morning, I dedicate time to feeding, walking and playing with my pets before diving into work tasks. Throughout the day, I take short breaks to ensure they receive attention and exercise. During the summer months, I have the flexibility to extend our outdoor adventures and spend quality time bonding with them on the the trails or swimming. Regular grooming sessions, vet appointments, and training sessions are also scheduled into my weekly agenda to ensure their overall well-being. Essentially,d pets are an integral part of my daily and weekly rhythms. I provide pets with a quiet space, leash walks in safe areas, and separate feeding spots to ensure comfort and safety. I integrate visiting pets with my own for socialization and play. Opportunity for off-leash adventures for dogs with great recall. I have a sizable, secluded yard away from traffic.

About: I live alone with no pets but miss having my own. I do travel and play golf so I don't want to own a pet at the moment but I miss having a dog or cat around. I have a flexible schedule and even better is your pet likes to ride in the car for short errands or a trip to the lake or the park. I have a nice yard in a quite neighborhood where I can walk a dog on a leash. Bright, clean and sunny home in Windham.

“Hannah is the BEST!!! I had to be in and out of town for work for two weeks, although my schedule was not consistent at all Hannah was up for the last-minute challenge of watching over Maisey and adhering to my crazy schedule. Hannah showed up on time and spent her time with Maisey (a true senior citizen) giving her the love and attention I hoped for. Turns out I have another crazy week coming up and Hannah was quick to sign up for more visits. Hannah is a true 5 star!!!”

“Amy was personable and professional, and she kept in touch with photo updates when we were away. I believe our sweet kitty was well cared for, and I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again.”

“Kristen was a real pleasure to work with.. My two Goldens were so well taken care for while I was away; it was great peace of mind having someone who clearly enjoyed the work spending time with them. I'm especially appreciative of the fantastic communication and the on-point timeliness of the visits! A++”

“We’d give 10 stars if we could! Stacy was so professional, quick to respond to our inquiries (this was our first experience with Rover), communicative while we were away, and most importantly so attentive to our old man’s needs and well-being. She went the extra mile in keeping his room “tidy” as well. We feel lucky to have found her!”

About: I have taken care of several family and friends dogs all varying in breeds, sizes, and activity levels. I have an 8 year old rescued lab mix and I love any opportunity to spend time with animals. I am a full time teacher looking for some work this summer. I am available most days of the week any time and some weekends (my rover schedule is up to date). I am happy to let your dogs out and play with them if you have a fenced in yard or take them on walks around the neighborhood. I am a relatively active person and I am willing to make my walks/ play time as long or short as your dog(s) would like! My services will be based off of you and your furry friends needs!

About: All of my first experiences were because the owners saw how much I adored their pet(s)! My very first job was when I was in elementary school. I would stop-in with my neighbors black lab, Maddie, every Tuesday and Thursday when I got off the school bus. Since then I have pet sat for numerous neighbors, family, coworkers, friends, and friends of friends! I am experienced, reliable, and have a genuine love for all animals. As a longtime sitter, I have been thrilled to now use an app like Rover to broaden my reach as a sitter to clients I otherwise might not have met! I work full time managing events in Scarborough. My schedule is normally 7am-1pm with Thursdays and Fridays off, unless there is an event! I also work weddings from noon to midnights just about every Saturday in June, September and October. Usually I ask that a note is left letting me know your pets usual routine, where your pets things are kept, feeding instructions & portions, any medications needing to be administered, plants you need watered, what day trash day is, and any other note about your pet(s) or house I should know. (:
