“Leona was amazing. We feel very fortunate that we found such a great pet sitter the first time trying Rover. She showed up on time for every visit, sent updates and photos, and truly showed that watching our pets was important to her. She handled our territorial and active Lab perfectly, and we could not have asked for a better sitter. Leona will definitely be our first call the next time we need someone to watch our animals!”

About: I am a lover of all animals and enjoy caring for them. I have had dogs since I was a little girl and even raised and homed two litters. I have had tortoises, a goat, and currently have some chickens along with my 2 dogs and 2 cats. I used to house/pet sit for friends and for clients from Rover but due to having children and my own pets I am only available for services at my house. I have looked after dogs, cats, horses and even a bird before but I am also open to other species. * I am gone once or twice a month in Southern California for 4-5 days so sometimes I am unable to commit to far in advance requests until I know what my schedule will be as it gets closer. I work from home starting at 8:00 - 4:30 but work in person every other Friday so I would be gone for a good portion of the day on those Fridays. Guests can come inside and outside as they please, I can separate from my dog if needed as well. My fence is new and sturdy, have had no issues with dogs getting out yet.

“We had an amazing experience with Karissa who watched our best friend Jango, while we enjoyed boating and hiking in Yosemite. Bottom line, Karissa went above and beyond in all ways, even accommodating Jango’s quirky habits like him not enjoying walking on ANY sort of gravel 😂 and some last last minute adjustments to the schedules. Can't recommend Karissa enough to anyone seeking a trustworthy, caring and dependable dog sitter!”

“We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Shaughnassy. She cared for our three cats during a week of home visits, and she was truly exceptional. From the very beginning, her communication was top-notch—she kept us updated daily with messages, photos, and little notes about how each cat was doing. It gave us so much peace of mind while we were away. She was incredibly sweet and patient with our cats, each of whom has their own quirky personality. It was clear they were comfortable and well cared for—honestly, we think they miss her already! She made sure they were fed on schedule, cleaned the litter boxes thoroughly, and even took time to give them affection and attention. Most importantly, she was completely reliable—we never had to worry about a thing. Knowing she was looking after them let us relax and enjoy our time away. If you’re looking for someone trustworthy, kind, and professional to care for your pets, we couldn’t recommend Shaughnassy more highly. She’s a gem!”

About: I've grown up with German Shepherds, and can lift up to 70 pounds. I often house sat for friends and family. One in which had me take care of four dogs and four cats. My jobs included feeding, walking, and playing with the dogs. As they were diffrent beeds/sizes and some were seniors, they had a very strict potty and pill/medicine times, as well as different portions sizes. I do best with written instructions and am task oriented. I am prepared for different animal behaviors and conditions, as I possess a certificate for veterinary assistance. In my care your pet will be throughly loved and cared for. As of right now I am free any day of the week. I am more then willing to do holidays as well as weekends. I am pretty flexible time wise, but do wish for dates to be final set. I am very mindful of pets security and animal behaviors. I will keep parents updated and alert if desired or in emergency situations. I will make sure your pet is taken care of and loved. I thank you for your consideration.

About: I have always wanted to be able to be around animals and help others with their own pets, over the years I’ve learned different ways of caring for different animals, and different and new tricks to help animals learn new skills and live a happy and comfortable life! I enjoy being able to meet new breeds and ages of dogs, and I also enjoy finding new ways to work with them just as much! With Rover I hope to give out a helping hand to someone who wants to give the most to their pet but might not have all the time in the world to, because I would want someone to offer the same help to me if I was in need of it! This summer I am focusing all of my time into pet care so my schedule revolves completely around my pet sitting schedule ! I am able to work a full time schedule to accommodate the needs of my clients ! I personally believe the quote “treat people the way you want to be treated” can be used when it comes to pet care as well. I believe in treating all animals as if they were my own and I make sure to treat any animal in my care with the utmost respect and love ! I will make sure that all needs are met, even if it requires tasks that some people might call “tedious “ . No level of care is too much for our furry family members !
“Shannon is the best! She took excellent care of our two dogs. She made sure they had their exercise, socialized with them. They were 2 very happy dogs. She is very good at communicating so there are no worries while your away. Lots of pics were sent on each visit. I highly recommend her.”

About: Growing up I had always had either a dog or cat at home. I always had a strong connection to animals, especially with rescues, that most people didn't understand. Anytime I saw a stray I would try to bring it home or a least give him or her love. When it comes to the love of pets, I have very few boundaries. I am very passionate when it comes to a pets health, safety, treatment, and the love they are shown. Any furry friend, pet, animal, they are all guardians that come to us when we need them most. Little lovelies that they are. They are gift that have endless amounts of love to show and give. They are little angels with fur. So Sweet. I have a prior commitment every Friday morning till early afternoon, however I will still have plenty of time to walk, play, and or check up on your wonderful pups. I have a fenced backyard and a dog who would be able to a keep pup company and play with him or her. I can crate your dog if necessary.
