“Everything was outstanding. We left our dogs off with Rebecca and her husband and got on the road. They sent us many pictures and a video they took over the time our dogs stay with them. Rebecca and her husband have several dogs, cats and horses at their very nice home and our dogs seemed to have enjoyed their stay. Our dogs were kept together, as I am sure the separation from us caused them to have questions, etc. and keeping them together most likely eased the stress on our dogs. Our dogs were taken on a walk and paid attention to. I am sure our dogs appreciated that (in their own way). We would highly recommend these folks as everything was just outstanding. We don't travel too much, but when we have to travel again, we will look here first for someone to take care of our dogs as we feel our dogs got very good care. About: Animals are my thing. I have dogs, cats, chickens, birds, and sheep, many who are rescues, and I love them all. I have been taking care of animals ever since I was a young child and thought about becoming a vet, but I became a teacher instead. I am off work for the summer and many of my weekends are free now that my children are all teens and above. I am located conveniently near the 145 and highway 41 in the Madera Ranchos. On your way to Yosemite? Going to have some family time in Fresno? I’ll take care of your pet for you. Your dog will join the pack for its stay and relax or play on the 2 acres of fenced in land. I’m a teacher so I have open availability in the summer and on most weekends. I can check in on your pets in the afternoons or evenings when I’m working. I have 2 acres of fenced in yard. “First time using Rover so I was a little bit nervous but Donna was AMAZING!! She spent a ton of time with my sweet boy! She sent pictures, took him on a walk, and even taught him a new trick (I literally booked her to drop in twice). You could just tell how much she cared about his comfort and well being; for instance, our heat went out and when the temperature dropped she offered to drive an extra two hours to bring him a heater! We live super far away from her and yet she still took an extra trip to come meet all of us. I could not recommend her enough! She’s wonderful!!”
About: I've grown up with cats, as of right now we have two, me being the primary caretaker. I often house sit for family and friends, one of which had me take care of four cats and four dogs. About: I’m a full time registered veterinary technician. I’m mostly available during the weekend. During the week I’m available after work on the weekdays. I have four animals in my home, two dogs, two cats, and sometimes fosters. animals in general are my passion. I’d rather much spend my days with animals than anything else. Luckily, I’m able to do that everyday. My everyday job really is rewarding when I see patients leaving feeling so much better than when they came in. I appreciated that their first message was asking about Cody’s vaccination records, which immediately showed they care about the safety of the pets they watch. Communication was excellent from the start, and the detailed arrival instructions they sent before drop-off made finding their property easy. Their home sits on a beautiful piece of land with farm animals and plenty of space. The last part of the drive is a dirt road and a little bumpy, but completely manageable and worth it. Christy was friendly and welcoming when we arrived, and Cody seemed comfortable and well cared for. Pickup was smooth, and he was relaxed in their home with the other dogs and kittens. Overall, a very positive experience and I would trust them with Cody again.”

About: Hi, I have grown up and taken care of dogs and many other animals , my entire life. My Mom and Dad had a lab who had 14 pups and I grew up with 2 of those puppies, Rowdy and TyTy. After Rowdy passed, at 14 years , we got the first of 2 Rottweilers, Cody Bear and then Brigadier, a 155 lb. teddy bear. Brig thought he was a lap dog, had to finally get him his own love seat! About: I live in a house with 2 acres of fenced in backyard. Have two cats and a 9 month old spayed puppy. Large dogs will have ample space to run around. Will provide plenty of photos and keep in constant contact so you can rest assured your babies are being loved and cared for. I do have an XL crate and dog bed for those interested. Ideally, I ask you bring a familiar blanket or toy to help soothe the pets. Pet care is my main focus when they’re scheduled with me. My entire day is set to ensure I’m available for walks, potty breaks and playtime. I have 2 acres of grassy backyard that is fenced in. Perfect for big dogs to roam in.
