About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I would love the opportunity to take care of your pets when you are not able to. I myself have grown up with dogs my whole life and would pet sit my neighbors animals all the time. Now, I have my own little zoo of 2 dogs, 3 cats, and some geckos. I spent one year in a vet tech program so i know the basics of animal medicine, 6 months taking care of the marine mammals at Shedd Aquarium, and I also have a bachelor's degree in Zoology. I understand it is hard to leave your pets unattended for hours on end and stressful when you come home to an accident but they can't help it. I want to help alleviate that stress for you and your pet by giving them the best care possible. I can only provide check-ins and walking services. I am looking for some supplemental income to help support my little family. I have a 3 year old and an 8 month old but have recently gotten a full time job in the Bloomington area. I am available during early evening hours and weekends. They are family so they get treated with respect and love and I will treat yours like I treat mine to make sure they are happy and living their best life.
About: I’ve taken care of animals all around the family! I have two dogs and a cat at home who have been spoiled so much. I love animals of all kinds. I have given dogs and cats medications orally. I am a college student at Ivy Tech, my schedule is a little empty this semester, and my part time job starts later in my day. I am always in town and don’t have any trips planned. About: Hello! I am a recent graduate who just moved to the area after accepting a job in the speech, language, and hearing sciences department. Looking for some extra income on the side. I have had both dogs and cats my entire life including a variety of breeds and sizes. I am currently working part- time and do not currently have any pets of my own. So, I will plenty of time and energy to give to yours! I have done a little bit of everything. I have had dogs who were trained to go off leash, also cats who were allowed outside. On the flip side, I have also cared for many escape artists, most of which were not faster than me.
About: I've have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember. I am constantly around animals and having to commit myself to taking care of them. I am comfortable around all pets and I am very flexible and willing to learn how to best take care of your animal. When I come to take care of, play with, and walk your pets, I will dedicate my time to loving them. I've had 5 energetic dogs throughout my life. My family has had everything from small to really big. We had a papillon, papillon mix, pomeranian, pitbull/boxer mix, and a pitbull/german shepherd mix. My dogs were always the larger ones and I can handle walking very large dogs easily since my dogs weren't the best on the leash. Currently we have two dogs but I learned how to take care of them when they were babies, to when they were having old age problems. So, I can work with any range of age. I also have a cat in college now that I love taking care of. I am a student-athlete currently, but I always have time in the evenings to dedicate to taking care of a pet. I am available for drop-ins on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. When you are home, I would love to take your fur babies for walks, to dog parks, anything you already do with them to make them the most comfortable! I am a student-athlete at IU Bloomington, so my schedule is a little packed but I miss my pets and I also love to walk, so this sounded like a great option. I am free on Saturday after morning practice, all day Sunday, mostly all day Tuesday, and all day Thursday. :) I would care for my client's pets like they were my own. I can handle giving them constant attention, feeding, walking, watering, and everything else. I am 6'0 ft tall, so I can handle big dogs if necessary.
About: I have owned all sorts of pets including cats and dogs my whole life. I have senior and grumpy dog experience. I used to be a traveling pet groomer. I also used to work at a boarding kennel. I have picked up some training tips. I work a 9-5 Monday - Friday so I am available in the evenings and on the weekends to take care of your pets and their needs! My senior chi mix has recently crossed the rainbow bridge but she was the boss of the house. I no longer have any pets in my home.
About: I have been around dogs and multiple cats ever since I was 5, but have been pet sitting for a year as additional income. I have dog sat a range of breeds from german shepherds to Maltese's. My routine when I go on walks is as needed for the dog, but on average 3 walks a day (morning, afternoon, night) if you live in a neighborhood/condo, may vary depending on location. About: I’ve always loved animals and have seen them like children because that’s what fur babies are to me.So being able to help others with their babies is important to me! When it comes to my schedule I’m pretty flexible with what days and times I can do since I’m a student. I can also do weekends if necessary also. About: I love bonding and interacting with the families and their pets. I love the enjoyment of animals and giving them extra love while their owners are away! I work Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., but I'm able to stop by during my lunch break for potty breaks, walks, feedings, and check-ins when needed. Before and after work, I dedicate plenty of time to walks, playtime, cuddles, and keeping pets on their normal routine. On evenings and weekends, I have even more flexibility to give your pet the attention, love, and care they deserve. I can't currently have animals stay in my home. But depending on what the client is looking for, I can drop by their home and visit or stay with that animal if need be.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
