About: I have always had dogs in my life. My parents chose our first dog, a blue healer, after their honeymoon. I was three. Skeeter and I would tromp through the woods often. We moved to the Middle East when I was 9, and we had to give her to another family, but when we returned, we were contacted by the family: they were moving and wondered if we would like her back. It was a very happy reunion. She passed away when I was 18. In my third year of college, I decided to get a dog of my own. It was a dumb idea because I didn't have the forethought to think about how being a dogowner would limit my housing options over the next 10 years. Baloo was a German shepherd mix. He was a rescue from a Native American reservation in AZ, what we call a "res dog". He and I had several adventures over the decade I could call him mine. He passed away a little over two years ago, and I still miss him now. These days, I am mom to Benedict and Tigerlily. Benny is a sweet old rescue from California. He is likely part pitbull, and part sharpei. He's a sweetheart, super chill with my kids, and loves to walk the trails behind my house. Tigerlily Is a baby baby. The two of them are inseparable. I work from home and have my kids 3-5 nights / week. We love all the dogs and love to take them on walks through the woods and to the park. I provide a chill space where dogs feel like they can relax and trust that someone will come along soon to scritch their ears. I have a great neighborhood for walking and a large unfenced backyard.

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, goats, chickens, pigs, peacocks. You name it. I’ve been a huge fan of animals since I can remember. I’m super active outside and love taking pups out on hikes or walks. My last dog had to take meds so I’m also extra sensitive to pups that may need more present care. I’ve dog sat and house sat for many years before and just recently decided to give rover a try. I’m also a photographer so pics of your sweet pea will be guaranteed! I’m a photographer so my schedule varies. Sometimes I’m on a shoot or at home editing. I work part time at a restaurant wed-Friday so am unavailable those evenings. I am generous with my love with pets if they want that. If they are shy I will absolutely listen to what they need and let them warm up to me at their own pace. Most mornings you’ll find me outside before the heat sets in. I walk my own dogs every day, spend a lot of time hiking local trails, and genuinely enjoy being outdoors. Adding another walk or checking in on someone else’s pet doesn’t feel like work to me. It’s just part of a life I already love. I’m pretty low-key by nature, so I don’t rush through visits or watch the clock. If your dog wants to sniff every blade of grass, we’ll sniff. If your cat would rather sit quietly while I read a book than play, that’s okay too. I believe every animal has its own personality, and I try to meet them where they are instead of expecting them to fit into my routine. My goal is simple: when you come home, your pet has been well cared for, and you don’t have to wonder if they were just another stop on someone’s schedule. Whether I’m caring for your pet in my home or yours, I try to keep life as normal as possible. I stick closely to the routine you’ve already established because consistency helps pets feel secure. Meals happen when they’re used to eating, walks happen on their schedule, and medications are given exactly as instructed. I don’t believe every dog needs the same approach. Some want to play nonstop, some just want to sniff every inch of the yard, and some are happiest curled up beside you. I pay attention to what each pet is telling me and let them settle in at their own pace. I also know how reassuring updates can be when you’re away. I’ll send photos and let you know how your pet is doing, so you can enjoy your trip without wondering if everything is okay.

I am fully able to take care of your pet 7 days a week and all daytime hours. I am available from 6am to 10pm. About: Hello, I have been taking care of a wide range of animals since I was 15. I’ve had 5 ferrets, guinea pigs, cats and dogs my whole life. I have a Staffordshire terrier, an American bully, and a black lab/ leopard catahoula mix. I am used to having a heavy dog on the opposite end of the leash and I am well experienced in animal body language to keep your baby and myself safe. I am an independent contractor who does Rover, Spark, DoorDash and a couple other side gigs. I have worked a 9-5 and it was incredibly difficult following a schedule someone else made for me while trying to manage my kids school and sports schedule's. Since becoming an independent contractor I have gained great relationships with residents of Culpeper and Rappahannock county and more time with my kids. These side gigs help provide me a way to bring in income, socalize, work easily with my kids school and sport schedules and give me the flexibility to rest when my autoimmune disease flares up. I will make sure any and all instructions are followed correctly to ensure adequate and safe service. Plus a few head rubs before I left.

About: I have grown up with my family’s Golden Retriever. My husband and I also have a Golden Retriever. I have also fostered and taken care of a few dogs from the SPCA to give them a break from the shelter. I have helped watch friends and family dogs while they are away. My husband and I am available all throughout the week to give your dog all the attention it needs. My husband works from home so your dog will have company throughout the day. We have a fenced in yard that we can let your dog out to run around with our Golden Retriever. We will also take them on nice walks around our neighborhood and on the trail by our house. My husband works from home so your pet will have companionship throughout the day. We also have a fenced in backyard for your dog and our 3 year old golden retriever to run around in. We also have multiple bedrooms if they need extra room to relax.
