1. Mary B.

“Mary was very friendly and easy to communicate with while we were on our trip. She did a great job taking care of our dog, our house, and getting our mail. We will definitely use her housesitter services again.”

2. Dakota W.

“Dakota was a wonderful sitter! Dakota came for a meet and greet a few days beforehand, and Wes was immediately relaxed. You can tell how much Dakota cares about taking care of your dog and their individual needs. We got several photos and updates throughout the time Dakota was watching Wes, which really put us at ease. We would absolutely recommend Dakota, and would be happy to have Dakota watch We anytime!”

3. Jessica M.

“Jess was a GREAT sitter! She watched our girl for 2 nights and paid her multiple visits throughout the day, which included walks, ball throwing, tug-of-war, and snuggling. Jess was also great about sending lots of pictures, which we love. Would highly recommend!”

5. Abigail V.

“Abigail was so great with my pups and sent me multiple pictures and updates during her stay which made me confident my pups were being well taken care of. She even went above and beyond and washed the sheets for the bed she slept in before she left! I would definitely recommend her and will be hiring her next time I need a sitter!”

6. Amanda W.

“Very caring and great communications”

7. Jessica M.

“Jessica was so patient with my anxious pup and kept me updated throughout the sitting! Left the house nice and tidy as well. Would highly recommend her to other pet parents!”

8. Tammy N.

“Tammy was our first sitter as a new Rover customer and we were very pleased with how things went. When first contacted, she immediately came to meet the dogs and get familiar with our home. While on vacation, is was great to get photos of the dogs out for a walk or of them greeting her at her car when she arrived after her day job. What we didn't expect was that our home was immaculate when we got back, down to Tammy washing the bedding she used and leaving it folded in the bedroom. If she is available the next time we have to be away, she will be our first choice. Thanks again Tammy!”

9. David J Djunga d.

“David did a wonderful job keeping our very high-maintenance Olde English Bulldogs! He was easy to communicate with, and, he was kind, gentle and attentive to details. He stayed at our home and everything was perfect upon our return!”

“Adam did a great job. He came over to meet us and our cat, and was impressive. We came home from our trip to a clean house and a happy cat.”

12. Estefani M.

“This is the second time that Stef dog/house sat for us and we couldn’t be happier! We feel comfortable leaving her with our baby and are confident that she is being well cared for. We absolutely would recommend Stef to others!”

13. Caitlin M.

“Caitlin went above and beyond with our special needs hound. We got plenty of communication and updates, along with lots of photos! We’d absolutely use her services again. Thanks, Caitlin!”

14. Sloan K.
“Sloan will do a great job taking care of your pets, she is responsible and really loves all pets! She has watched my two cats and axolotl multiple times and I’ve always been so happy she was there. Sloan takes great care of the animals and communicates with you as well. I’ve also seen how much she loves her own dogs and all the care she provides for them. Sloan goes above and beyond for animals and I can’t recommend her enough to watch your pets!”

15. Elise E.

“Elise was fantastic! She took excellent care of our two black labs and went the extra mile to take them to our local dog park for us, without being asked! She also took great care of our home while we were away. I’d highly recommend working with her!”

16. Bryan M.

“I can’t say enough about how fabulous it was to go away and come back to happy, well-cared for pets. I will definitely ask Bryan to house sit again!”

17. Sterling M.
“Sterling watched our beloved 7 year old golden for us for 5 days while we were traveled for the Thanksgiving holiday back in Texas. Sterling was so eager to get to help us and took the very best care of our girl. She sent me daily pictures of she and our golden outside in the leaves playing and on walks. She texted to make sure she knew correct details about when our dog was supposed to eat etc… Our dog clearly fell in love with Sterling in no time. She even hesitated hopping in our car when we went to pick her up and instead lead us back into Sterlings house wagging her tail. Highly recommend hiring Sterling to anyone needing a dog or house sitter. Sterling is so kind and genuinely wants to help because she truly loves animals, both spending time with them and caring for them.”

18. Meredith B.

“Meredith is so caring and thoughtful. My pets were very happy to have her stay with them and treated extremely well. The dog now requires ear rubs as a regular activity from us. The house was kept neat and clean. We felt very comfortable leaving and knowing she would be there. We hope to have her stay again soon.”

19. Bree L.
About: I’ve spent the past 10 years caring for dogs, starting with my own two black labs, who I trained and cared for throughout their lives. Over the years, I’ve also gained experience working with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages through pet sitting and dog walking for neighbors. Since moving to Charlottesville, I’ve loved continuing to care for dogs, whether it’s walking energetic pups or providing care and companionship for older dogs. Working with dogs has always been something I enjoy and take pride in! I am currently a student at University of Virginia. I have most evenings available to care for your pets. I am also an athlete and can provide long walks and runs. I have an appartment that also includes a dog park so the dogs can play, I am also able to go on long walks. I am very friendly and get along well with dogs. I offer dog walking, sitting, and boarding.

20. Tabitha B.

“This was our first sit with Tabitha and she did not disappoint. Punctual, courteous and conscientious, she also has a gentle demeanor which our dog Bella clearly appreciated. She kept us informed with pictures and Bella was happy and relaxed when we got back home. We will definitely hire Tabitha again if the need arises.”
