“Catey stayed two nights with our Great Dane and did an amazing job! We got regular updates, lots of pics, and I know our dog was very well cared for. Plus she left the house in perfect condition. She's just terrific!”

“I can’t say enough great things about Marti! She is kind and professional, and you can tell how much she cares about all animals. We had a last minute AC issue and she was gracious and flexible as we worked through getting it fixed. She kept such a great eye on our high energy pup and went above and beyond for her. This was our first time with a pet sitter and we feel so lucky to have had one as great as Marti – we were able to relax and enjoy our trip knowing our pup was in great hands. Thank you Marti!”

About: Hi there, I'm Arabelle! I am a lifelong animal-lover and have been providing professional animal care for over three years. I work as a full-time cat caregiver at Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and have provided in-home animal care for local community members since April 2022. I try to treat every pet in my care as if they were my own and prioritize their happiness, as well as their families' peace of mind while away. I have provided care for a wide array of animals - primarily dogs and cats, but also rabbits, guinea pigs, goats, horses, chickens, parrots, snakes, hedgehog, and tortoise. I also have personal experience with rats, mice, and a wide variety of invertebrates. Does your pet have special needs? No worries! I have a variety of basic medical experience, including administering oral medications, eye drops, ointments, injections, subcutaneous fluids, and enemas. I have worked with animals with a wide range of conditions, including seizure disorders, heart and kidney disease, sensory disabilities (blind/deaf animals), neurological disorders, incontinence, food allergies, and reactivity toward other animals. I am comfortable with changing diapers, managing strict feeding regimens, and providing plenty of exercise for high-energy pups! I work full-time at Best Friends, so I will be unavailable during the day Thursday - Monday. I can provide care during the early morning, afternoon, evening, and overnight, as well as lunch breaks to those who are located within Kanab city limits. I follow any safety protocols preferred by each pet parent. I have worked with dogs who are crated during the day, as well as those who are free to roam the house. I do not let dogs outside in an unfenced area off-leash unless I have been given specific instructions to do so AND have worked with the dog multiple times before. I generally prefer that indoor/outdoor cats are kept inside for the duration of their parents' absence.

“They were great Moose had a good time with his new friends he loved his walks. We would definitely use them again and would recommend them to anyone who needs someone to come stay with your pet at your home very trustworthy.”

“Lori was the perfect in-home companion for our geriatric yellow lab while we were out of town. He’s happy just to sleep, eat, and go outside a few times a day, and having her stay at the house with him kept him in his routine and feeling secure. She’s a long-time local and knows many of the same people we do so I trusted her to know what to do and who to contact for help if needed. Overall she’s a great dog and house sitter and if we need her services again we’ll definitely have her back!”

“Arabelle is extraordinary. I have 3 dogs with a strict medicine sked at 5a, 1p, 5p, 9p. Arabelle never missed a single meds n always texted me after each time to let me know the meds were done. She is so incredibly responsible and easily the best sitter/walker in town. She is usually booked solid (months in advance!) but several of her regular clients have left town so she has more availability. There is no one else like her. Just give her a meet n greet n u will immediately see what a compassionate n responsible person she is. I absolutely think she is the greatest”

Tara V.
“I was VERY picky in choosing a sitter who would provide care for my dog when I was away. For me, selecting a pet sitter was just as important as selecting the best qualified Veterinarian. With Tara, I can trust that my “Bella” is in the hands of a responsible professional. One who gives my dog the attention and care she deserves. Tara offers the perfect alternative to leaving my dog in a boarding facility. I highly recommend her!”
