“Shelly was awesome! She gave me daily updates on Mako while I was out of town. I knew my dog was safe and in good hands. I will definitely use Shelly in the future.”

“Can’t say enough great things about the care that James C. & wife provided to our elderly dog while we were on vacation. They were willing to take Apollo at the last minute when our previous boarding reservations fell through. Our dog had recently experienced a spider bite with subsequent need for wound care & medication. Couldn’t have asked for better care due to their knowledge & experience. They provided updates & readily responding when we had questions. Would highly recommend!”

“Our fur baby had a wonderful time with Rachel! We got updates while he was there of him sleeping and playing. He was exhausted when we picked him up and is still tuckered out 2 days later! We would love to use Rachel again!”

“The best she did everything to accommodate my Trudy. She also went out her way to be available at the time I arrived from airport even though my flight was delayed. People don't understand how hard it can be planning a vacation or getting away when you have a pet, Vania was a lifesaver and Trudy enjoyed her stay as well.”

“She was absolutely great with our pup. He was well taken care of and she kept me updated with pictures and videos through out our time away. I highly recommend her.”

“Milena was great! She treated my boy like one of her own. She was communicative and sent lots of pictures as I was initially anxious about leaving him. Thank you so much for treating him well! We will be booking with her again!”

“Jamie was absolutely fantastic! This was our first time using Rover and Jamie made it an absolutely great experience. Luna was absolutely worn out and had to catch a nap when she got home. Jamie and her family are wonderful people. After meeting with them the first time we knew that Luna would be in great hands. She sent pics and daily updates without us having to ask at all! We definitely will be using Jamie in the future and we highly recommended to anyone else looking for a dog sitter.”

“Jane and her family were able to take my request during a last minute change of plans on my part, and made to make Rogue feel at home as soon as she walked in the door. We were all sad when Rogue had to finally leave but they took such good care of her during her stay and I'll definitely be contacting them again if I ever need a sitter 💙”

“Kimberly made us feel so at ease while she kept our dog. She was so happy to have him which made us feel comfortable and stoked for him to be with her for the weekend!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
