About: What sets me apart is the genuine love and experience I bring to every pet I care for. I have over 12 years of pet-care experience and am a pet parent myself to three Chihuahuas, including a senior dog. Because of this, I understand the extra patience, attention, and care that senior pets can need. I’m comfortable caring for puppies, adult dogs, and senior pets, and I’m happy to accommodate each pet’s individual routine and personality. This allows me to give pets plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, and care throughout the day. I’m able to work around each pet’s normal routine, including meals, potty breaks, walks, medications, and plenty of love and cuddles. 🐾❤️ Because I’m home most of the day, your pet can have someone nearby rather than being left alone for long periods. I truly enjoy having animals around and love making them feel comfortable, safe, and at home while their families are away. I care for every pet based on their individual needs and the routine their family has established. In my home, pets are treated like family and receive plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, walks, meals, and lots of love. When caring for pets in their own home, I make sure to keep their normal routine as consistent as possible so they feel comfortable and secure. I’m happy to provide walks, feeding, fresh water, litter box care, playtime, cuddles, and basic medication care when needed. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, schedule, and specific needs before their family leaves. My goal is always for your pet to feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾❤️

“Melody and Matthew provided EXCELLENT care for our fur babies during our vacation! Our Basset Hound needed emergency treatment while we were away (no fault of Melody or Matthew) and Melody went above and beyond to obtain treatment, update us regularly, make sure our fur baby received immediate care and provided TLC to our boy afterward. He is home safe and sound and is good as new now. She sent photos and updates regularly for both of our pups and share cute, funny stories of both of their antics. I can't give enough stars for the care she gave our pups! This was our first time using Rover and we selected Melody because of her excellent reviews. I will tell you to BELEIVE WHAT YOU READ! Her many years of experience with pets shines brightly. We will definitely use her again!”

She went above and beyond—sending me some of the best photos and videos I’ve ever had of him, including clips of him playing and socializing with larger dogs (which was a first for him!). It meant so much to see him having that kind of fun and confidence. Megan also kept me updated with daily “doggy report cards” and personalized notes, which were such a thoughtful touch. When I picked him up, it was clear he had an incredible time—he was almost sad to leave! He even made a new best friend with her dog, Kava. I’m so grateful for the care and attention Megan gave, and I will absolutely be booking with her again. Truly a 5-star experience from start to finish!”

“I was scrambling to find dog boarding when my friend canceled on me at the last minute. I had no backup plan and actually thought I’d have to send my dog to a kennel for the week. Luckily, as I was looking up kennels, I found information on Rover. So this was my very first time using Rover and I was extremely nervous. Turns out, there was absolutely no reason for me to be. Rover is very easy to use and I was able to find Julie & Kenneth N’s information. After seeing/reading the positive reviews I made immediate plans to meet them and have them meet my Husky, Max. When Julie & Ken arrived, they were very friendly, easy to talk to and most importantly, they love dogs. I was able to book Max to stay with Julie & Ken for the entire week that we were on a family vacation. As promised, I got daily emails (with pictures) of how Max was doing and Julie even let me know how helpful Max was in the kitchen — by being watchful to ensure Julie didn’t drop anything while preparing lunch. I loved all of the text communications I received — Max was smiling in some of the pics. That put me at ease too. If you want top notch boarding for your dog, then I highly recommend this dog-loving duo. Your dog will be well taken care of and will be happy with Julie & Ken. In the future, whenever we need dog boarding, Julie & Ken will be my very first choice. I am sincerely grateful to them for their excellent care of Max.”
