“Danielle was so caring and attentive to my senior dog's needs. My dog must have liked her because she even went back to say bye before getting in the car to leave which is in contrast to her behavior with other people we have had watch her in the past. I will definitely request Danielle first for future pet care needs.”

“Keely took great care of my dog. She sent me pictures and updates throughout my vacation which kept me at ease since this was my first time boarding. Looking forward to working with her in the future!”

“Margaret and her husband were amazing with Maverick. You can tell they are really knowledgeable and love animals. She sent regular updates with pics. Just a short trip right off of I79 to get to her house that has a big fenced in yard. I felt completely safe leaving my pup there. Will definitely be using her again!”

“Philip spent 10 days with Gina and her family while we were away. She sent us updates everyday on his activities. He was treated like part of their family! we were able to relax knowing Philip was on vacation also!”

“Katherine was an amazing sitter! She made sure to send updates on how my cat was doing as well as pictures and she responded very quickly if I had any questions. Will definitely be rebooking !”

“Kristen just cared for our geriatric, high maintenance cat who has some health issues a second time. She was great again - clear communication, administered daily medication, sent photo updates. Would definitely recommend.”
“10/10 Jamie was AMAZING from booking to pickup! She was gracious through our need to book last minute (which nobody enjoys having to rush to find a dog sitter, so this was greatly appreciated). She took time to ask questions and fill us in on their process of handling a guest dog in their home. Her home is beautiful (I said I wanted to take his place being boarded there lol), it looks like actual doggy heaven. She sent videos and pictures that made our hearts so happy while out of town, and we could visually see how great she treated our little guy (who can be difficult to say the least). They treated our dog as if he were a part of their family in a short period of time and we couldn’t be more grateful to have found her! Oh and a bonus was after we picked our little guy up he behaved SO WELL, like way better than usual…..I think he was missing Jamie, her family, and her dog ❤️ You cannot go wrong with booking with her!”

“Jennifer is top notch! My dogs were picked up happy and healthy! She took them on several walks and kept us updated with pictures. She is definitely dependable and trustworthy and I wouldn't hesitate to leave them there again! Thanks Jennifer!”

“My chocolate lab Cooper got to hang out with Holly for Thanksgiving this year, and seemed to have a lot of fun! She and her family were more than gracious to let him hang out for the holiday, and he still got plenty of outside time and snuggles. He seemed worn out when he got home, which I love! It is very evident that Holly truly loves animals, and I felt that I could trust her to keep my pup safe.”

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in PA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
