Our days typically include: 🌅 Morning Your pet will start the day with a potty break, fresh water, breakfast, and some playtime or a walk. They’ll have plenty of attention before settling into a relaxed part of the day. ☀️ Midday I work two days a week, but your pet will never be left without a plan. My husband works less than a mile from our home, so he can easily stop by during the workday to let your pet outside, play with them, and give them some extra attention. 🐕 Afternoon On days I’m home, we’ll have additional potty breaks, walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I’m happy to adjust the routine based on your pet’s age, energy level, and normal schedule. 🌙 Evening Evenings include dinner, outdoor time, playtime or a walk, and relaxing family time. We’ll finish the night with a final potty break before bedtime. I’m happy to follow your pet’s usual feeding, walking, potty, medication, and sleeping routines so their stay feels as familiar as possible. My goal is simple: while you’re away, your pet should feel safe, loved, comfortable, and cared for—not like they’re just being boarded I have a huge backyard to run and play in if your pet is able. We also have neighborhoods around us to go for long or short walks for exercise. I have no problem with your pet being on the furniture if that is what they are used to. There are currently no other animals in the house, so your pet will get undivided attention. There is an electric fence on our property, but will only be used if the pets’ parent prefers to use it.
About: I grew up with cats and dogs and we have had dogs our entire lives. We've owned seniors, puppies, kittens, cats, fresh and saltwater fish, and guinea pigs. I have sitted for friends and family for years! Empty nester with kids off at college and out of state. I am a stay at home mom/wife who has a very open schedule. I have two senior dogs. Geraldine we have had since she was a puppy, and we rescued Birdie when she was eight. Both gals are now ten years old. They are the apple of our eye!

Our dogs both took to him immediately; you can tell he’s a dog person! He was very communicative, took lots of adorable photos, and gave detailed visit reviews on the “report card”. He took extra care with one of our dogs who had recent TPLO surgery and administered her meds and special diet which put our minds at ease. About: Hi everyone! Our names are Karen and Chad and we’ve always had a love for dogs since childhood. The thought of caring or rescuing a dog has always been top of our minds. When we got married, we adopted a greyhound racer. We had him for 7 years and lost him unfortunately due to cancer. Since we lost him, we’ve wanted to continue helping/caring for dogs and can’t think of a better way then helping others with their fur animals. We know the working world doesn’t always accommodate balancing out caring for our fur friends and work and would love to help with that! Please chose us to care for your fur friends whether it’s a walk or a overnight stay in our home! We will treat them with the utmost love and care! We are available daily as Chad stays at home weekly. Karen is available to help out on weekends. Please let us know how we can help! We have a nice back yard, we accomodate the owners care preferences when it comes to being comfortable in the home (allowing on furniture/beds). We make them feel as if they are part of the family. We do have a dog bed and dog water/food bowels with plenty of space in our 2200 sq.ft home.In addition, there is a crate if needed.

When I became a Mom and my youngest son begged us to get a dog, I was so happy. We added Rocky to our family 12 years ago and he’s been my companion ever since. We also have two cats Domino and Luna to complete our family zoo! We’d love to have new furry friends and visitors to come on our family adventures and to play with. About: I’ve been taking care of dogs, cats, and other animals (snakes, bearded dragons, hamsters, tarantulas) for about 18 years. I’ve always had pets and friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets when they were away. I’ve owned cats with kidney disease and my dog has an autoimmune disease, so I have experience with taking care of sick animals. I’m able to administer oral medications, ear and eye drops/cleaning, subcutaneous fluids. I’m a registered nurse currently working part time night shift at the hospital, but I make time to care for my own dog and cat. On my days off, I have plenty of time to care for other animals! I can only do drop-in visits, walks, or doggy day care/boarding at my home as I can’t stay nights away from my own animals. I would always want to do meet and greets first to make sure my animals get along with clients, but I can accommodate separating them in my house between the upstairs and finished basement.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
