About: I've cared for dogs and cats, including feeding, walking, giving medication, and providing enrichment through play. I'm comfortable with pets of all ages, temperaments, and sizes, and I prioritize a safe, nurturing environment. I've also volunteered at animal shelters and helped neighbors with pet care while they were away. Growing up in a large household with pets taught me the importance of responsibility and companionship. I'm flexible with rates based on care needs and time commitments. I’m excited to be your pet’s new best friend! I’m currently working part-time, so I’ll have plenty of time available to care for fur babies! I’m very adaptable based on care needs and am happy to be flexible for each family. My focus is always on keeping your pet happy, safe, and comfortable. I follow their routine, give plenty of attention, and make sure they’re getting whatever care or exercise they may need.

Friday's I do not have class. I go to the gym once a day but that time of that is fit our my school schedule and working schedule. I offer pet care in the client's home. At the moment my roommate and I have 2 dogs one just being a few months old so I don't offer pet care in my apartment until he is older.

When she came for her initial visit, I could immediately tell she was an animal lover and would treat Jackson as if he were her own dog. I also instantly saw how comfortable and confident she was walking a larger, energetic puppy – she had complete control. Throughout the week, she was incredibly prompt, professional and reliable. She gave regular, detailed and fun updates throughout the week. I could not recommend her more highly.”

About: I absolutely love animals and always treat them like they are my own. I know what it takes to keep an animal happy and healthy and I can be held accountable and responsible for any animals well-being. I love to love. Nothing makes me happier than contributing to an animal’s or other people’s happiness. I am free to take care of pets whenever I don’t have class. I have busy days on Tuesdays and Thursdays and besides that, whenever works. I like to stay flexible. I have a very small yard but if boarding, we would be out exploring and going on walks on the greenway behind my house. We have a cat at home that has been good with all animals so far. Very safe environment with lots of space and love to be given.

My background has provided me with the knowledge to work with all kinds of dogs. I am certified in pet CPR and have a pup of my own! I’m currently working in a research lab over the summer which takes up about 6 hours of my week. Luckily, my lab work is flexible so I can work around your schedule to help accommodate your pups needs! I am an outdoorsy person who love to go on walks, especially if I have a furry friend accompanying me. I can go any distance to fit your dogs needs. I am experienced with leash pullers as well as reactive dogs. Because I am certified in pet first aid and worked in a high paced doggy daycare, I know how to react fast. Animals just make me so much happier so taking care of yours would help us both. I check with the owner and how they want me to do things. But take a very personal look at it as if it was my pet someone was watching. Doing everything possible.

About: I’ve lived on a farm for most of my life, I’ve had many years of experience taking care of all sorts of animals as well as any types of administrative medicine and training! Pet care is always a joy to me, as a college student I try I balance life and school the same. Although I focus on my dreams in the near future I always go back to my roots with growing up with animals it’s my passion. My own animals at home which range from a variety of large farm animals and regular domesticated animals, I have a deep respect for animals and how they feel living in their environment. I believe all animals deserve the same treatment and respect, whether that be regular feeding and walking or even just playing with toys, I love making them feel special and comfortable.

About: I have taken care of all types animals since I was 14, but really picked up once I could drive. I have people that still want to know when I go back to my home town so they can revolve their vacations around me being able to watch their pets! I work from home, and set my own meeting times, so I can make my schedule work for almost any time of day or night! I have a ton of experience with different home situations for pets, and I will always make sure you pet gets the best and most specific care!

About: I have cared for pets since I can remember! I grew up with two sisters who also loved animals and over the course of my life I have loved many small dogs, cats, turtles, fish, a bird, and a rabbit. I also gained a good amount of experience and knowledge on how to take care of pets through my time working at Pet Supplies Plus, where I would often advise customers on what would be most helpful to get their pets feeling good again. In my time here, I also cared for and helped heal many creatures, including cats, fish, cockatiels, ferrets, hamsters, and guinea pigs. I love bonding with pets and I find it really fulfilling getting to care for them as I get to know them. I have cared for others pets several times throughout my life- largely neighbors and family. Most recently, I got to pet sit while traveling and house sat for two lovely homes in Scotland. I care a lot about making sure that spaces are maintained and I am happy to do any household chores that may arise. I am currently in summer break from my university and I have a rather flexible schedule! My hours available may change depending on the week, but I will have plenty of time to play with your pet! Once my school semester begins, I can be free after 1 on Wednesday, before 5 on Thursday, and any time Friday-Sunday and Tuesday. I know the best trails to take your pup around in the WNC area and if they have a preferred place to walk, I always love exploring more! I believe in fitting myself into the natural routine of your furry friend wherever I can. If there's a specific time they like to play, eat, or get walked, I'm more than happy to accommodate! With pets that I'm just meeting, I like to meet them where they want to be met, and if that includes playing fetch all day, I'm happy to do so.

“She did a great job with my new puppy !!!!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats from a very young age. My family has always had pets which taught me how to properly care for them. I now have two bunnies myself that are my whole world. I have also had past experience with pet sitting. I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, lizards, and bunnies and I’m willing to learn how to care for any other pets you might have. I truly love all animals and I will love your pets just like I love my own! I am not currently working so I will have all the time in the world to spend with your furry friends! I can be there whenever you need and I am more than happy to accommodate any schedule. In your home, I will care for your pet just as you do everyday! Depending on the service you request, I can simply come by and spend some time with them a few times a day or I can be with them around the clock in your home. Your pets will be my top priority and I will do everything I can to ensure their safety, health, and happiness while you are away!

About: Animals just relax around me. I’ve worked with many pet owners who are apprehensive to leave their pets with anyone due to the pet’s nervous temperaments, and other various quirks, and every single time the animals have surprised their owners by completely settling in with me. I prioritize play, love, and connecting with each individual pet I watch however they specifically need. I’ve looked after animals of all breeds, ages, & temperaments- from anxious & fussy older pets to energetic young puppies. I have experience administering medications to sick animals, hand feeding injured puppies, walking several pets at once, and managing dogs & cats that are a bit wild. I’ve even cared for lizards, turtles, fish, plants (haha), hamsters, birds, & rabbits. Whatever their needs, I will make sure they feel safe, loved, & at home while they’re with me. I am a full time potter who just opened an art gallery in downtown Blowing Rock. I run the gallery Wednesday-Sat 11-5 and Sunday 1-5. Beyond those hours, I can make myself available to spend time with your pet(s) either at my home or yours, as frequently as is needed. If your pet needs a potty break midway through my shift, I may be able to accommodate by having a friend cover my gallery mid day to run to let them out. Otherwise, I’ll just be sure they get a good thorough walk before and after my shift. I live in a peaceful home with a large fenced in backyard, and nice quiet streets to walk with your pet as needed. I will follow whatever routines you generally stick to and prefer when working with your animals.

About: I have 4 dogs of my own, 3 are rescues and I wouldn’t trade them for the world. I’ve also taken care of friends and family’s pets while out of town and used to dog groom with a friend of mine. I currently work a full time job in Boone, Nc. I would love to be able to take care of your fur babies full time instead! Three of my dogs are crated while i’m not home but after Im home they get to run around inside and they are walked before i leave, and while Im home. Once Im doing this full time they will not be crated as much. I do not have a fenced in yard so they are walked instead as much as possible! But could also put up a temporary fence if needed!
