“Arden is the most incredible dog sitter! I wasn’t worried at all while we left for our wedding. In fact I looked forward to every update with the amazing photos and written updates. So wonderful and caring as if Baby was their own. I truly appreciate Arden’s care and will absolutely request their services every time we need a sitter. Thank you!!!”

“Kara is INCREDIBLE. Each time she cares for our cats, she consistently goes above and beyond. Not only does she take care of their basic needs, but she also dedicates extra time to play and interact with them. Her genuine love for animals shines through, and we couldn't be more grateful for the exceptional care she provides. Our cats get so excited when Kara is around and we can tell they have been happy/well taken care of when we return. It gives us so much peace of mind and I would recommend her services to anyone seeking a cat sitter! P.S. Kara is so skilled with a camera. She provided us with daily updates (multiple times a day), and included photos of the cats each time. The photos look professional and are easily some of the best pictures we have of them. Thanks so much, Kara! ?”

“Kayla has the golden touch. I have two cats, Chippee, who needs medication and does not like to take it. Somehow, Kayla can get him to take it without any fuss. Then he will snuggle with her. Then there is Sulley, whom we just got in September; well, he comes and gets hugs from her. If possible, I will not use anyone else.”

“Brittney did a great job with my dog Chris. He can be very selective on who he does and doesn't like but her experience and capability shined as she was able to immediately interact with him on our pre-booking meet-up. She was very communicative when there was an issue or she had a question so my boy could get the most accurate care to his needs. I'll definitely rebook if I ever need someone in Lawton, OK again!”

“Claire was great with Kitty. She helped me out while was traveling with some house sitting and walk ins. I just got back home today and the house was just as I left it and Kitty was happy and well looked after. Thanks, Claire!”

“Jessica has dropped in to take care of our cat Shiloh a few times and always goes above and beyond to make sure he is good to go, taken care of, and that everything with our house is good. We appreciate her notes, photos and updates from her check ins. We trust her fully and would recommend her care!”

About: I’ve had dogs and cats my entire life and can’t imagine a home without them. Growing up with a Golden Retriever sparked my lifelong love for animals, especially dogs. Over the years, I’ve gained experience caring for pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior pets who need a little extra patience and attention. Currently, I have four dogs and two cats back home that I miss every day. Since moving to Oklahoma, I’ve been looking for ways to stay connected to animals and fill that space in my heart. Pet sitting allows me to do what I love while helping pet parents feel confident that their furry family members are in caring and dependable hands. I understand that every pet is unique, and I take the time to learn their routines, preferences, and needs. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, feeding schedules, or simply providing companionship, I’ll care for your pets as if they were my own. My goal is to make sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I work full time but i have plenty of time to come check on your pets ! i am able to come in the morning before 9am and again around 11:30am and then when i get off around 4:00-4:30 on week days and i am free all day on weekends. At this time, I am unable to provide pet care in my own home, but I am happy to care for your pets in the comfort of their own home where they feel safest and most comfortable. I understand that pets thrive on routine, so I do my best to maintain their normal schedule, including feeding times, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medication administration (if needed), and lots of love and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat both your pets and your home with the utmost respect. I’ll provide regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. My goal is to make your pet feel loved, safe, and stress-free while ensuring their routine stays as consistent as possible.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
