About: Good day, my name is Leeane, a current veterinary assistant local to West Lawton. I have worked in the professional animal care field for six years, and I have been involved with the care of animals for 11 years now. Being a pet owner myself, I understand the necessity for professional care of animals. I am deeply passionate about my work and the care of all animals. Through my real world experience I have assisted with medical care to over 1100 dogs and cats, so regardless of the condition your pet may be in, you can be confident that the skill set I have developed over years in the industry will be more than sufficient when caring for your animals. I’m currently working full time but have frequent off days during the week and occasional long weekends with every other Saturday only having availability after 4pm. I will update my availability frequently. I’m looking to extend my pet care experience to lengths beyond and provide attentive care for the comfort and convenience of clients. Care for pets in the clients home always has a regard for cleanliness and respect. For drop in visits, enough time will be given for the animal to relieve themselves in a respectful manner and environment, following pet owner requests when promoted. Feeding and watering pets in an appropriate manner, and closing up the home afterwards with no worry of unlocked doors. Overnight house sitting stays include all attentive pet care services and cleaning up after pets, along with frequent pet updates to owners request!

“Jennifer and her husband did a great job watching my 3 cats and house over Christmas while I was away. Received plenty of photo updates and came home to 3 happy kitties! Very nice people that I would gladly rebook anytime. Thank you!!”

About: I’ve had experience with dogs since I was 11. I absolutely love dogs and want to care for yours! I have a dog of my own and I understand needing someone who cares just as much as you do! Feeding, cuddling, exercise, training and mind stimulation are all important to me and I want to ensure I offer that to your fur baby! I have a large fenced in back yard which allows for a great area to play fetch, work on sit and stay and to also just allow for some sniffing and adventure! Feeding time in the morning and a nice walk in the afternoon is what I shoot for, but if it’s too hot outside for your pup, I work with them inside by playing with toys! I will ensure I discuss certain behaviors that the dog may have along with certain behaviors they want reinforced or not (sitting on the couch, laying on the bed, jumping, etc). I also want to ensure that your pet is the safest they can be by asking about allergies.

About: I don't do chaotic, distracted pet care. Your dog deserves better! I work well with energetic, strong-willed, & sensitive dogs because I pay attention to body language, boundaries, & routine. Whether your dog needs structure, stimulation, or just someone who won't ignore their signals, I've got it covered! Expect clear updates, safe handling, & a dog that feels understood - not managed! I receive my work schedule 1-8 weeks in advance, depending on various factors & I plan my pet care around it. I only accept requests that fit comfortably within my availability, so I'm never rushing or cutting visits short. When I'm booked with a pet, they're a priority-I build my day to make sure they get consistent, attentive care & timely visits. Pets are cared for based on their routine, not mine. Feeding schedules, walk times, medications, & preferences are followed exactly so your pet stays comfortable & stress-free. In your home, I am clean, respectful, & consistent. I treat your space the way I'd want mine to be treated. For pets, that means attentive care, safe handling, & reading their behavior so they feel secure, not overwhelmed. You'll get regular updates with photos & clear communication, so you always know how your pet is doing.

I can’t recommend my sitter enough! Jennifer took care of my two cats everyday for over a month, and the level of care, communication, and attention to detail was incredible. She treated my cats like their own and went above and beyond to make sure they were comfortable, cared for, and loved the entire time. My two cats absolutely adored her, and I would trust her again in the future without hesitation!

Claire was great with Kitty. She helped me out while was traveling with some house sitting and walk ins. I just got back home today and the house was just as I left it and Kitty was happy and well looked after. Thanks, Claire!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

sitters on Rover set their own , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
